Hey Guys - I met Brian Carpenter (actor, model, therapist) in 2019 when I was living in Los Angeles. We reconnected last month and I'm SO excited to share our conversation with ya! He is a thoughtful listener, gifted artist and a peaceful soul. I loved the flow of our chat and the topics we covered. Lemme me know what you think below. See ya soon!
It was so nice to watch an elder gay man talk so positively about who he is now. As a 67 year old gay man I often feel that the gay community ignores older gay men. We have a lot to share because of our life experiences so kudos to you for featuring Brian and his wisdom.🤗
We do have a lot to share but it is not just the gay community is agist, society in general is ageist. A gay man is typically invisible after the age of 40 it would seem. Fine with me.
That was excellent! I’m 65 and came out in 1974 when I was 17 in my freshman year of college. I was having a relationship with the captain of the crew team who refused to come out for fear of ridicule. I was not about to live a lie and apologize for the way I was born. 48 years later after retiring as the executive vice president and managing director of a major company I’m so glad I kicked the haters to the curb. I trust this video will inspire young LGBTQ people to do the same. Well done.
I'm almost 64, always knew I was gay, was lucky to land my 1st serious boyfriend at age 22 in 1981...we were so in love & our relationship was emotionally & physically complete...I came out with him & became a total man of life with him finding the happiness & freedom I'd dreamed about for so long. He was 29 years old & helped me to socialize & interact with both gay men in life & straight people in how to present myself to them. My struggles during the teenage years were emotionally & physically cruel. I endured, remained focused getting a college education, good jobs, & by my mid 20s I was happy & proud to tell people that being gay was my best asset. ...All of us guys who have lived a good while can easily share to the younger guys how life can become so very worth living.
It's a shame that even though things have improved a lot, it's still difficult for many young people to feel comfortable about their sexuality. I'm 79 and started coming out in the mid-seventies when I was teaching junior school. My Catholic parents were living on the other side of the world, so I decided it would do no good to come out to them as I had also relinquished my faith, a double whammy I was not prepared to deliver. I came out, however to my three siblings, and to my friends who were fantastic and equally fantastic when I needed to tell them about my HIV+ diagnosis. My decision helped me to become a campaigner for gay rights which increased my feeling that I need make apology to no-one. I have a wonderful partner 23 years my junior who I'm very proud of as he's won several work related awards. We've been together since 2009 and he has smartened me up no end. My friends tell me he's made me lose the sloppy old guy look. I've been very lucky.
Mark, such a wonderful conversation with Brian. My husband and I will both be 70 years young April/May of next year. We've raised 3 fantastic kids and weathered so much through our life together. We became a couple at 23yrs, were/are still very active in our Gay community, be it politics, social or charitable. The AIDS crisis brought us closer together and I believe that's why we're still here today. Act Up,1st March on Washington, the AIDS Quilt project and certainly fighting to bring about the freedoms as we the LGBTQ community can experience today. Never forget those who blazed the road before you, There are many if us Rainbow Warriors still around, though maybe not as visible but still a strong presence.🌈🌈🌈🌈
I felt the same way - as a Finn I was too restricted to put my feelings in these in words in my own comment. (Or perhaps it is my personal upbringing that is still holding me back like Brian mentioned in the interview more so than the culture/society.)
As a 62 years young gay man who was closeted most of my life, I found this conversation with Mark and Brian to be so informative and emotional. I relate to you both on so many levels, yet since coming out a few years ago I am still trying to navigate how to fit into a community that I hid from for so long. The positive energy you both exuded was infectious. Its amazing given the difference in your ages how similar your experiences and life perspectives are. Thank you for sharing your journeys! ❤❤
I am 74 and gay, too - about a month younger than Mr. Carpenter. I envy his full head of hair! The best parts of your 70s are still breathing plus almost all the worries and anxiety you dragged around when you were younger are now irrelevant. My best friend (73, a kid) and I live in a lovely townhome with 2 master suites, so even though we are not romantic partners, I am not alone. We understand one another, because we are both retired professionals from blue collar families (which means we both worked hard to achieve a degree of success). Between the 2 of us, we have one fully functional brain! I take life one day at a time, because I seldom watch where I am walking, and it is almost certain that one day a speeding bus is gonna nail me. SPLAT!
Mark, this video hit me on so many levels being a single man in his fifties. I had two relationships and was always comfortable being single until about 2 years ago. After listening to Brian it awakened a new perspective in me which began to give me peace about my current situation. I can’t thank you enough for this video. I love listening to you also, your beautiful soul shines through and love comes across strongly in your presentations. Sending love back, Patrick ❤
21:55 - Mark - “Did you see yourself…living alone…?” Brian - “…I didn’t have any examples of positive relationships…and I wasn’t allowed to love the people I wanted to love…and being single is fine” Yes, this portion hit home for this 79 year old, and being single has become a joy Thank you Brian. Thank you Mark.
Hey Mark as a gay who’s 56 and didn’t come out until I was 50 I have suffered anxiety and panic attacks all my adult life, I work in the transport industry as a truck driver , clearly they still are homophobic to this day. Thank you for your topics and content it’s amazing to have a great source like yourself and many others on the internet, people like me find immense gratitude for opening up about all issues that effect gay people in general , keep up the good work kind regards Jason from down under
Hi Mark and Brian. Thank you for such a wonderful conversation. I just turned 55 this past July. And I identified with Brian's story so much. I hope I get to my 70's too. Happy Sunday from Montreal.
Hi Mark, I just finished watching your video with Brian Carpenter. I am an 80-year-old man. I started watching your about 2 or 3 years ago. I love listing to you speak and tell your stories. You are such a beautiful and sweet man. I was married for 25 years and had 4 children. I was in church all those years. I did not come out until I was 46 years old. I am now married to my husband for 14 years. You always talked about things that helped me as a gay man. Thank you so much. Keep doing what you are doing.
I'm speechless. Everything fell into place in this interview. Thanks!! Sooo inspiring. I'm 48 years old, so right between you and Brian in terms of age. You picked me up right where I am right now. You are amazing !! Thanks for sharing this conversation. ❤
It is great to see and hear different generations of gay men sharing experiences and supporting each other in the way that you and Brian did. Interactions between gay men of different ages are often presented in a negative way and this video was a beautiful and heartwarming counterpoint to that. Thank you both and hope to see you doing more videos like this in future. ❤
Greetings from Chiapas, México. Hey Mark! I'm a 67 year old queer man and let me say, I thoroughly enjoyed this video and I think I'm drawn to your you tube channel because you're what I call an old soul. You have no problem talking to people of all ages, yet you still have fresh ideas. Thank you.
Hey Mark- WOW! What a great interview. I can relate in SO MANY WAYS with what Brian said. I read through your comments, and as of now, I believe I am the only one who is, as Brian is, A septuagenarian. I just turned 70, in Sept., and I know how difficult it was to survive those years. He made a real success of himself. I wish that I could have been as successful as he is. I am still in the closet, but, as Brian said, I do have a GREAT internet life, which is a real life saver for me. Friends out there, as well as GREAT influencers, like you, allow me to NOT think of my life as worthless. THANK YOU for posting this interview. And, just like Brian, I have been following you for years. You have given me so much pleasure with your videos... God Bless you, and he. Howie
This interview hit so close to home, i will be 57 in October and am single also. I’m ok with that. I have a lot of friends but no one has ever viewed me as relationship material. I actually enjoy living alone now. I have a very fulfilling career in law enforcement which keeps me busy. I get asked frequently “aren’t you lonely?” I always respond with, I may be alone but I’m never lonely..I am always very drawn to your videos and how you interact with people. You definitely have a talent. Keep ‘em coming..♥️♥️♥️
This was an excellent interview! Well done, Mark and Brian!! 👏🏽👏🏽It was so moving, and filled of so much beauty (including the flowers) and wisdom. 🌷💙 "Labels are so soothing to people." - That is so eloquent and true!
Mark! I love all of your vids, but this one blew me away. What a GREAT interview. Thank you for being you. I know why Brian is so happy to do the interview with you. You are Awesome!!!
Mark, I will admit, I have not seen your videos in a couple of years. I happened to stumble on this one, and I can’t believe how much growth has happened since then. Really enjoyed this content. Looking forward to going back to watch your previous videos and those yet to come.
As a 31 year old gay man, I've been contemplating what it'd be like to continue to be single at an older age. This video gives me a lot of courage and made me realize there's so much to look forward to. Thank you both!
I’d been a very happy introverted loner, who is gay, for 49 years. Now I’m 50; the glass bubble I’ve constructed called my life, has started to crack. Retirement and loneliness are on the horizon, and the weight of that hanging over me is really uncomfortable. Choose wisely when you’re young.
There was something so comforting, gentle, friendly and warm about this video. I wanted it to go on forever and I'm so glad that I stumbled upon it. Thank you, Mike! Thank you, Brian!
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mark this interview with Brian Carpenter, was one of the most interesting conversations and uplifting, you have ever had in your channel. Thank you for sharing, Stay Safe & Healthy... Abrazos
I have been a fan/follower for many years. This latest video was, by far, the best one you have ever produced. In terms of story/structure (I’ve been a media guy for over 30 years) it was perfection. The content brought smiles and tears to my face. As a Kinsey Scale guy in my mid 50ish, I am super impressed and full of gratitude. More of this please. Be well, friend.
This was one of the most thoughtful discussions between two entirely credible (and amiable!) adults I've ever seen online, or really anywhere. Much to think about. Thanks to you both for being so up front, with humor and feeling, about your lives. You helped me feel better about my own. I'm 84 and still willing and eager to learn from others.
This was a great interview and it is highly informational too. I liked a lot of the things that were said. There are a lot of older gay guys like Brian out there. This video will impact so many too. It was needed and a great video as well. Thank you both.
Wow Mark, It feels like a long time since we have seen, what I would say is, a multi layered journey vlog, like you used to make. Having a conversation with Brian was captivating. And I was not surprised when he "flipped the lens" onto you. Well done to you both and thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for this wonderful interview......as a 73 yr old gay guy it hit very close to home!!!! I have had a crazy up and down life and know exactly what you both were talking about!! There was a time in my life that I thought I was the only one in the world that had these feelings...... Then on my trip I found out there is no such thing as a completely straight man......was years before I learned about gay bars......and had lots of fun before that!!!!
Been watching your content from inception. This video has absolutely sucker punched me. Exquisite. I look forward to sharing and discussing with all I meet today. Glynn (Edinburgh, Scotland)
Very enjoyable conversational post between you and Brian. I enjoyed where you touched on the fact that dealing with a breakup is similar to the loss of a loved one. Funny, how people never assume gay relationships are poignant. Yet, we do go through the grief, anger, etc emotions that are similar to death. Thanks for being you and move forward within a peacefulness of knowing tomorrow is another opportunity!😀🤗
Mark, I have to admit the 40 minute length delayed my watching... Now I would like to see the director's cut using more of the 80 minutes of raw footage. This was a really fascinating conversation. Thank you and thanks to Brian.
Thank you Mark and Brian. This conversation was great. Mark, respect for not editing out any of the personal reflections of your own history. It would have been easy to do as you were caught off guard. LOL! Gotta watch interviewing those therapists... they can cut to the quick and turn the tables on you. Props again to you both... it was very interesting. Better watch out Mark.... Brian is going to be the new UA-cam heart throb! HAWT! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
That was a very cool interview. Your videos pop up on my feed from time to time but I’ve never really stopped to watch until now. It was great to see his energy for life. Loved hearing his story and perspective from a gay man that’s around my father’s age. You also seem very down to earth and very intelligent. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you.
Hey Mark, Another oldtimer here, closing in on 79. Can't fully explain how moving and down-to-Earth I find so many of your videos. I'm so happy that you and Brian have found your passions. Being widowed after a 46-yr relationship and now living in a building with all elderly straight folks, I find myself alone and back in the closet. I need to find something to be passionate about again. Many thanks to you and Brian for (hopefully) giving me the push I knew I needed! I hope you'll consider airing more of this conversation...it truly was both moving and inspiring! Love & Peace, my friend!
Winsboy: I can relate to your situation concerning the living arrangement at this stage of our life. Fortunately I own my home but I'm in a massive community, of very sedentary elderly straight conservative Trump lovers. The pro was it was affordable when I bought it and now its much more expensive, and the Hurricanes are making me rethink being here. Retirement for many of us gay people presents some real challenges unique to our orientation. Sadly things get compounded because we can't afford, to retire where we feel welcomed and be ourselves. . The USA is so expensive now we do the best we can where we are.
And we may through a lot more but just to be represented even in this short wonderful interview give a little incite to the psychological makeup of most of us. We are wise, we are strong, we are loved, we are here. God bless the survivors of our long journey.
Love the video it’s so cute, been having a rough month got dumped so it’s so nice to be able to watch you. I’ve had the biggest crush on your forever, bright side now we’re both single and we can finally be together just let me know when you want to meet haha. But thank you again for the videos they always brighten my day!
Brian and I are the same age. I visited Harvard when we were 20. I wonder if he remembers the day that Massachusetts Hall was taken over by protesters? He was in the same class as one of my high school classmates with whom I connected in front of Widener Library. We're both trained as psychotherapists, too. I'm so glad you continue to connect with such a lovely guy.
I agree whole heartedly with everything Brian said. I know we don’t know everything, but, I started to come to terms with being gay the same time y’all started posting. It gave me hope that one day I’ll have the same thing, that it’s okay to be who I am. That’s the greatest thing anyone could do for anyone. Keep doing what you’re doing. Wether you know it or not, you’re really helping people. Thank you 🫶🏽
Hey Mark that was an amazing conversation between you and Brain. I just wanted to thank you both for sharing your thoughts with all of us. Mark I hope to see more of these type of videos from you as well. Can’t wait for what else is coming your way Mark.
Though I have been a subscriber of yours for many years, I have been silent for several years now, observing but not commenting. This video, however, moved me to say how taken I was by your maturity. This was the best thing you have published in a very long while and there should be more of it. Mr. Carpenter is brilliant, compassionate, and comforting to listen to. You could not have chosen a better person, I think, for this type of interview. The thing that brought me to subscribe to your channel in the first place, and to remain so for years, is your marvelous talent with videography and editing. I have been in awe of your cinematic eye and your very great ability with a camera. I hope sincerely that you do more of this type of thing. Bravo!
I'm also 74 and relate to what your guest had to say. The Secret: The Joy of life is to be found in Each Moment Lived. NOW is the moment. Speaking about editing an interview, I did an interview with a person who said he'd let me see the edited version before he posted it, but he didn't. He just edited it the way he wanted to and posted it. The part that I am not pleased with, it that he didn't keep his word. I believe if you say you are going to do something, you have to do it, or you are a liar.
ooh i see you mark guessing zodiac signs. i study astrology and get lowkey excited any time you mention “because i’m a virgo”. great vid and putting a spotlight on our elder lgbtq+ members!
Really liked the vlog with this gentleman. You handled the situation with such professionalism and knowledge of what to ask. Your guest was very interesting and would have loved to have known him. Mr Carpenter is a gem with such a positive attitude. This vlog was super interesting. Love your channel. One of my favorites on You Tube. 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Really nice conversation. I didn't think I would watch the whole thing but it was really worth it. I think this is the kind of content that you were made to create.
Thanks, it's so nice to see a gay man age gracefully. This example takes away the fear of getting older and the realization that the remaining time is becoming clearer and clearer. Especially if you don't have a family. A video that encourages. Being gay is not a matter of choice and sometimes it feels like a burden and nothing to be proud of. Mark, you are so empathetic. Can't help but just like you, even though you're so good looking and seem to have it all, aren't you arrogant. You inspire so many people. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you wish for!
What an interesting and wonderful 40 minutes I had. Don't pay attention to the number of likes, keep doing what you're doing. It is beautiful. Thank you for this video.
I've been smiling watching Brian the whole interview. I love his vibe and characteristic, he seems so charming and joyful person and it make my year. Thank you for the inspiring interview you guys done here. I'll take it as my life advice for ever.
I came across this by accident and I loved it. Like many of your viewers, it touches so many chords. I am now 76. I became a therapist in 2010 - also a second career. Left Texas for NYC in the 70s, etc. It is such a joy to hear and see men who have weathered so much and still have a wonderful spirit and smiles of happiness on their faces. Thank you and Brian for sharing with the rest of us.
Thanks to you both for making this happen. I really enjoyed it. I also felt connected to many of the topics and discussion you both shared. I have been a long time fan of this channel.
This is one of your best videos if not THE best!!! Mark, your talent for putting together videos like these is second to none. I loved the musical interludes and imagery of nature in the right moments. But your very powerful conversation with Brian felt very honest and open. You both touched on heartfelt topics that really hit home for me as a retired gay veteran who served in Afghanistan. My hope for you is that you will continue to use your inspiration and creativity to continue producing videos like these for all of us who suffer from the emotional and social, ups and downs, of our daily lives. We can all learn from these conversations. They are tools for us to keep handy in our tool kit for those times when things seem particularly bleak. So, thank you, Mark. Please keep making everyday a great day for both yourself and those of us who follow your channel. I am so grateful to you. Stay true! Okay? Love ya! See ya! Byeeeeee!!!! ☺
Interesting to see this and commend you for taking the time (and Brian) for making this video and sharing, showing all that age is just a number between us. Embrace others that can and will enlighten your life no matter. And speaking of labels, nothing more that I detest than people who can't live without using them. Everyone is unique and different, straight or gay or bi or whatever, and are individuals whom all live and act differently. Geez. Oh, Brian actually looks like a cousin of mine. He is a cool guy.
What a brilliant video and interview. Thank you for showing me the other side. Brian is such a well spoken and accomplished handsome man. He definitely has that mischievous boyish look on his face. Just so happy.
What a joyful experience, it has been for me to watch this great interview. I found it so refreshing, because I happen to be a bit older than Brian, as I am only 78 young and i am totally aware of my reality. As I started to watch, I suddenly recalled that I used to set aside some folders on Mark E Miller, that I used to enjoy watching, some 2 years ago and more. I do have quite a few things in common with Brian, like his love for the theatre, although I did not get as exposed like him in the film industry , I merely had bit parts as an extra in various film, back in the seventies , included Love Story, when I lived in New York City, plus doing some commercials and was involved in a repertoire group, directed by Katherine Sergava that was taken all the way up to Harvard, with Anton Chekov's, The Seagull. As A gay man, i now live down in Venezuela since 1970 where I became a successful executive for various Insurance companies, but I managed to get involved from time to time in some stage productions, with The Caracas Theater Club, .that brought me great satisfactions, my last taking place some six years ago which is bound to be a repeat for year's end Holiday Season. I enjoy living alone, because nature has a way of taking so much of the pressure of being some kind of a maniac, I spend my time reading and listening playing some music and from time to time, inviting some friends, for dinner an a bit of sharing, I managed to share my life with some delightful people, but lasted what was suitable, as it tends to be. Please excuse me, for I did not intend to extend myself so much, yet, so it went. Congratulations to you both.
great interview! I started following you being friends with Matt and Blue and I never stopped. You are a beautiful human and Olive is the best♥️much love and respect, jan
This was such a great video Mark. So nice to hear words of wisdom from a successful and knowledgeable person who seems to be living life to the fullest. Especially at age 74. ❤❤
Holy crap. I think this video has hit me harder than any other that you have done. I wasn't sure I wanted to sit through 38min but then I couldn't pause it. And it wasn't just what was Brian was saying.
There are so many [young] people sadly who have never heard of Stonewall! They don't know of all the sacrifices their older brothers and sisters have made FOR them! Thank you to all those who have gone ahead and cleared the road for us all.
This was a really great video. Thanks for doing this. This really helped me. Please keep this up. You don't realize how many peoples lives you have touched. I know mine has been touched by you for a long time. Thanks again. Have a great week. Hugs and kisses.
Really loved this video it was so interesting especially your guess, he was such a positive person, he reminds me of myself. Sending love and blessings.
That was fun, Mark - delightful/insightful. I'd like to see a split-screen moment with you and your friend, Andy, sometime, too and/or in person. You both had some nice moments / some nice conversations in previous videos.
Mark, this interview is fantastic. Seldom in the gay world older men are showcased in a positive way and I believe many older gay men can relate to this video. I found this interview exceedingly special. Please interview other older men too please, Mark. Thank you, Brian Carpenter, for being interviewed.
What an awesome gentleman. great interview, about to turn 74 .widowed 5 yrs after 44 together. letting go of anger? hard w family, but seems possible now. Thank you both.
i really enjoyed this conversation, first video of yours i have watched. i'm 68 and i've been with my husband for nearly 40 years (he's 71). much wisdom here, and one thing about getting older, exemplified by Brian is a sense of calm, peace, comfort with yourself. you learn to RESPOND and not to REACT. it's the simple question, "is there another way?" the heart of creativity, and i guess since i'm an artist i do that too. people get stuck in one way of dong things. i understand your expression of life in your 20s. a wild time for me that's for sure! but then one goes through stages, perhaps, and learn from experience, good and bad. i like not being labeled this or that. about 25 years ago in my 40s i suddenly became fascinated with women (after 20+ years of relationships with men) and this went on for a few years. i like that you pointed the sense of "youth" for lack of a better word, no matter how old you are. maybe mischievousness, and i too am very much like my mother, always optimistic. it's an approach, and i figure life is a gift and i'm going to make the best of it, a constant sense curiosity and exploration, yep, that's me too! keep up the good work Mark!
@John Adam 👍
More content like this please Mark!

The space created between you two was truly magical. Thank you for sharing, both of you, thank you.
Excellent. See my DM.

Unfortunately it’s all about superficial nonsense these days. The younger gays only care about how great and handsome and fabulous you are
Same here, I'm 62 and feel most events are geared towards the younger gay community.
Not all of us ignore you x
Older gay men are so handsome and interesting more than young gays !! 😍😍

Hi sexy how are you doing
21:55 - Mark - “Did you see yourself…living alone…?”
Brian - “…I didn’t have any examples of positive relationships…and I wasn’t allowed to love the people I wanted to love…and being single is fine”
Yes, this portion hit home for this 79 year old, and being single has become a joy
Thank you Brian. Thank you Mark.
Not having a live-in romantic partner does NOT mean you are alone! 74 here.
That hit home with me also.
Well Rob every body needs love there's some one out there for you.
Omg. What a wonderful man!!!! 74 young years with so much to teach us still.
That is pride!!!!!
Wow nice are you in the uk I would love to see you some other time
Hi sexy how are you doing
‘I found someone and that’s me’. ❤ his healthy attitude.
What a very nice conversation. Thanks Mark, thanks Brian.
Hi sexy how are you doing
Howie
Why do I immediately calm my life when watching your videos? You're like therapy to me! Thank you so much, Mark! 🥰
I am 24 If you are interested we can be a good friend 😊🙌
This was an excellent interview! Well done, Mark and Brian!! 👏🏽👏🏽It was so moving, and filled of so much beauty (including the flowers) and wisdom. 🌷💙
"Labels are so soothing to people." - That is so eloquent and true!
Well man find comfort in knowing that I'm the same age as you dealing with the same thing ✌🌈
31 is YOUNG! Your life hasn't even fully unfolded yet! (I'm 74)
Abrazos
What a wise and wonderful man Brian is. Thank you for sharing him with us Mark. x
well done Mark! love this video! i am 62 and hopefully i will be as sharp as this man should i make it to 74. well done!
Wow good comment nice are you single
Are you looking for fun
This was a great interview and it is highly informational too. I liked a lot of the things that were said. There are a lot of older gay guys like Brian out there. This video will impact so many too. It was needed and a great video as well. Thank you both.
Hi sexy how are you doing
This conversation was a whole gift . Precious words. I still have so much to unpack. Thank you for your openness.
Outstanding. I just loved listening to Brian's story. Thank you Brian and Mark.
Been watching your content from inception. This video has absolutely sucker punched me. Exquisite. I look forward to sharing and discussing with all I meet today. Glynn (Edinburgh, Scotland)
This was a really great (yet deep in so many ways) conversation. Thank you, Mark & Brian for sharing! ❤
Hi sexy how are you doing
Thank you Mark and Brian. This conversation was great. Mark, respect for not editing out any of the personal reflections of your own history. It would have been easy to do as you were caught off guard. LOL! Gotta watch interviewing those therapists... they can cut to the quick and turn the tables on you. Props again to you both... it was very interesting. Better watch out Mark.... Brian is going to be the new UA-cam heart throb! HAWT! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
“I get to see the best sides of people” Well said!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this conversation with us. This goes to both of you!
Love this video. Really enjoy hearing about people's lives, experiences, and outlook. Thanks for creating and sharing.
This was excellent, Mark! Thank you for introducing Brian to all your followers. Great interview!
Wow very intresting nice 👌
Good comment you'll meat good guys witch part of the world are you
Thank you for representing my generation. We went through a lot to get here.
And we may through a lot more but just to be represented even in this short wonderful interview give a little incite to the psychological makeup of most of us. We are wise, we are strong, we are loved, we are here. God bless the survivors of our long journey.
Yes, we certainly have.
Mark, I know there’s very little chance of you reading my comment but thank you for doing and sharing this, it was such an insightful joy to watch.
Such an open and insightful interview, and across a 43 year age difference.... I am astounded. Mark and Brian, you are such pioneers.
Hi sexy how are you doing
Well done by both of you !! Loved Brian.......he is such a radiant soul !
What a fantastic interview. Brian has a wonderful outlook on life, one I try to adapt to my own. So it goes…
It’s such a wonderful and honorary experience to hear of peoples lives. This was such a thought provoking video. Thank you Mark and Brian
A sensational 40 minute ‘peek’ into both of your ‘styles’…I hope you are considering doing more. Thank you….T♥️m
Love the video it’s so cute, been having a rough month got dumped so it’s so nice to be able to watch you. I’ve had the biggest crush on your forever, bright side now we’re both single and we can finally be together just let me know when you want to meet haha. But thank you again for the videos they always brighten my day!
This may well be the best interview you've done. Thank you Mark and Brian!
What a wonderful idea for a video I’m 48 and hope to get to there age to be in a discussion with you!😘
Brian and I are the same age.
Bravo!
Best discussion I have seen on UA-cam thankyou
I'm also 74 and relate to what your guest had to say. The Secret: The Joy of life is to be found in Each Moment Lived. NOW is the moment. Speaking about editing an interview, I did an interview with a person who said he'd let me see the edited version before he posted it, but he didn't. He just edited it the way he wanted to and posted it. The part that I am not pleased with, it that he didn't keep his word. I believe if you say you are going to do something, you have to do it, or you are a liar.
Such a great and lovely interview. Also somewhat therapeutic 😃
This video interview is absolutely tremendous on so many levels!! Love, love, love this!! Thank you Mark and Brian!! ❤😊
ooh i see you mark guessing zodiac signs. i study astrology and get lowkey excited any time you mention “because i’m a virgo”. great vid and putting a spotlight on our elder lgbtq+ members!
Nice video. I’m 55 and my husband is 71. Older man have so much depth to share.
Well that was an emotional watch 😢 wasn’t ready for that . It was an amazing chat to listen to. Lots of love ❤❤
What a beautiful video! As someone who’s in the same demographic, I was so moved.
29:25 Yes, that was very heavy Brian. It deserves reflection. Thank you for putting those years in a broader, positive context.
Hi sexy how are you doing
This was such a great video Mark. So nice to hear words of wisdom from a successful and knowledgeable person who seems to be living life to the fullest. Especially at age 74. ❤❤
So moving! This video is so beautiful in so many different ways 💛
Holy crap. I think this video has hit me harder than any other that you have done. I wasn't sure I wanted to sit through 38min but then I couldn't pause it. And it wasn't just what was Brian was saying.
What an amazing conversation!
There are so many [young] people sadly who have never heard of Stonewall! They don't know of all the sacrifices their older brothers and sisters have made FOR them! Thank you to all those who have gone ahead and cleared the road for us all.
Thank you for this interview! I shared it on YT and twitter!
Hi sexy how are you doing
This is wonderful--thank you for this, Mark--also to Brian. Many blessings to you-- :)
This was a really great video. Thanks for doing this. This really helped me. Please keep this up. You don't realize how many peoples lives you have touched. I know mine has been touched by you for a long time. Thanks again. Have a great week. Hugs and kisses.
This was beautiful and moving. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Really loved this video it was so interesting especially your guess, he was such a positive person, he reminds me of myself. Sending love and blessings.
Hi sexy how are you doing
Beautiful, beautiful video! Absolutely loved both of you! Thank you, guys.🥰
Everyone needs an elder friend like this. The gift of experience and perspective is so beyond valuable. Great vid!
Brian is so wholesome 🥺🥺❤️ this was beautiful to watch, thank you Mark
This conversation warms our heart ❤️ great job boys
