Super useful. My issue was the 2nd...the bypass. Got new Weber burner tubes, flavorizer bars and replaced the tank. Had low flame after even adjusting the air shutter and grill would not get over 200 degrees. Soon as I followed the steps to let the line pressurize, my grill is now at 450 within a few minutes.
Could a faulty regulator be the issue? If so, how does one diagnose the regulator? The last time I used our grill it did not heat up properly and the regulator was quite cold. Could that pressure differential cooling be indicative the regulator is faulty?
Hi! We are sorry to hear about the trouble with your grill. It's possible that the safety device in the hose/regulator has been activated. To reset that safety device, please check out our blog here: Wbr.gr/Bypass. Thanks!
What should I try if my grill has all the burners going but doesn’t get very hot anymore? It used to get so hot it would melt my face when opened, now I can bare hand flip meat on the racks. Weber spirit II on natural gas line. I already changed the gas line to a brand new line, cleaned the burners themselves, as well as got new burner shields.

@GrillwithWeber I have the same problem, and I can't get it reset. It is so frustrating that I'm losing my patience. Would be good to have a fix and share with everyone.
Hi Daniel, thanks for reaching out. So sorry to hear this. Happy to help. It sounds like your grill was in safety mode (bypass). Here are some instructions to get your grill out of bypass. www.weber.com/US/en/blog/burning-questions/why-wont-your-gas-grill-get-hot-its-probably-in-bypass-mode/weber-29816.html

So to get it out of bypass mode you let it pressurize for one minute before lighting?
Yes

I regret that I purchased a brand new Weber grill it wouldn’t get over 300°F.
