For me, as an artist, at this time when the world is dominated by madness, it is an immense joy to be able to witness the birth of such artists. So much purity, so much energy and desire to go further. Art alone bears witness to truth, to peace, to spiritual elevation. It will be an honour to follow this artist and a dream to one day perhaps collaborate with her on an artistic project.
Art and music are always a shelter against all madness in this world. The more we listen and learn, the more we can fight against evil tendencies in this world. These are my thoughts, now 78 years young. And of course I love Hania Rani.
A very personal comment: Last year my Mum died, she was 90, and it was okay. There was some money left to us 6 children (I'm 67!) The chance to make a dream come true. I had always wanted to visit Iceland. This year in April/ May I was there for 4 weeks, travelling in my very basic VW Multivan from 2005. Before leaving, I did some checking on Icelandic music and discovered Olafur Arnalds. Brilliant. Then I found Hania had worked with him and had also done some work on Iceland. Today I have discovered Victor. I will be travelling back to Iceland in two weeks and will be watching the Youth Orchestra perform Dvoraks 'New World' in Reyjkavik. At some point I will park up at Reykjadiskur, play Ghosts, and probably cry my heart out. I am soooo grateful to what ever led me on this path and introduced me to these amazing musicians/ visionaries; Hania, particularly. God bless.
I'm would be surprised if it wasn't. I remember her live concert from the S2 studio that was recorded during the Pandemic was eventually released on vinyl, and I ordered a copy.
When I am listening and even more so watching artists such as Hanna, Asaf Avidan and a few others, I am always amazed at how fast not only their fingers fly but, what kind of mind it must take to think as fast as they are capable of! I am now 65 and have days where I can't remember what the heck I ate for breakfast never mind having a brain that can think and fingers and feet that have what seems an other worldly timing and brain function. Their music is amazing and brings me hope which is harder and harder for me to come by. Thank you Hanna for your incredible talent and for sharing it with all of us.
Haina is quickly becoming one of the greatest musicians of our time. One who will be spoken of in many years to come. So beautiful to witness her development and rise.

25.20 to 31.57 is just insane. I’ve been privileged to see Hania Rani this year in Stockholm and am looking forward to seeing her in London next April. Incredible person and talent.
All of this might sound cringe but I want you to know that your songs are the only music I can listen to and feel safe and connected right now. Thank you for sharing your beautiful soul through your music and thank you for the brain hugs, chills, and (this hasn't happened in a looonnngg time) genuine smiles and impressed mouth wide open for extended periods of time in awe. It's nice to feel something good again. Your music is healing on more than one level and it truly is art. 🌹🌻
In an interview she said her father listened to Pink Floyd. She didn’t necessarily say they influenced her music, but I hear some Richard Wright, like in Komeda. That’s a fine piece indeed.
To me this is a spiritual successor to Portishead's live from Roseland Ballroom. I mean that in the best way, i e this is NOT one of the thousands of Portishead imitators we got back then, but more that it could the first time since the 90s someone has created such great art, that then sounds and looks so good when presented on a great video with fantastic backup
Just wonderful Hania! And yes, we are all very grateful to Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnalds who are her friends and mentors. Still I can see that Hania has her own path to go. She is already walking on it. With her lovely singing she has drawn up another way to go in this forest.
After 15 minutes I gave up the stuff I was doing and closed my eyes, I boarded on "the boat" for a wide and wonderful trip... the applause after the interlude took me out of my thought, opened my eyes and was quite surprised to be still in my room 😳
For me she is in WORLD TOP LEAGUE of musicians / composers. I would put Hania in the line up with Nils Frahm, Jon Hopkins, Olafur Arnalds... All those musicians give me the same beautiful vibe with chills all over my body.
Unusual modern quality sound. A real find. A charming combination of gentle female vocals, cellos, violins, piano, and, all of a sudden, very harmonious electronic music - sometimes rhythmic, sometimes atmospheric. Thank you very much!
Ubiegłej Niedzieli miałem ogromne szczęście i przyjemność być na występie Hani w Wiedniu. Ahhhh, cóż to była za niesamowita uczta dla oczu i uszu a przede wszystkim dla duszy. Kosmiczne i niezapomniane przeżycie. Po uszy zakochany jestem w twych dzwiękach Hania.

I heard her last night live in Montreal and it was incredible -- even better in person. If you get the chance to go and see her, do it! Absolutely magical.
Wow! This is magic - intense and beautiful - Hania is a keyboard wizard! I agree: this would be wonderful on Blueray with Surround Sound in best quality - I will certainly buy it! Please Gondwana Records think about it! 😘
Her incredible compositions, her performance ability, her beautiful voice, her command of the electronics, her ability to attract such excellent fellow performers. Incomparable. Magnificent.
Hania's music 🎶 brought me calm when I needed it most, and has continued to for many years now. She was a miracle discovery for me during a dark period. I still remember, I had been listening to various performers play on David Klavins ridiculous 2-story tall piano (Nihls Frahm), nearly 5 years ago. Then I heard her play "SUN' and thought, "holy $#!t wow!" "Who is this girl..." "Why have I never heard of her?" and I was instantly hooked. I highly recommend that recording to everyone here. So after many years now, of captivating, yet calming music, with such emotional depth, I owe her many many thanks for being my therapist. She unknowingly did me a favor that I can never repay. That said, I am so happy to see her career finally taking off in a big way... because it it so well deserved. She is also far too humble, and is clearly one of the best musicians of this era. 👏 ❤

Gratitude ! We were in Salle Pleyel in Paris last wednesday to live such an higher moment in your universe Hania ❤❤❤ Thanks you for sharing to Humanity this kind of energies of beauty and creativity ! So inspiring for young generation and for us ! Thanks you each time you are touching our souls like never before !
I can't get enough of watching her perform. Her music is live so much more 'alive' and intense! Hania does not just produce the music when she performs, she embodies it passionately. Maybe a strange comparison, but her performance reminds me of Jimmy Page. To Hania; I am sure a lot of people were just as nervous as you were, hoping to be the witness of an unforgettable experience as you tend to deliver; as always, you do not dissapoint ❤
I realise Hania is by nature a modest person, but nothing she creates could possibly be considered (as she nervously characterised) as 'stupid'. It is thrilling to follow her journey and her willingness to be so open, even if she knows no other way it is greatly appreciated. Bravo! This is music the world needs now.
After some hesitation I agree about every word but I think a little about " the worlds". I think it should be "this world". "This is the music this world needs now". As a matter of fact I only know a little about this world.

W całym gąszczu dźwięków melodii zawsze można coś ciekawego odnaleźć. Cieszę się, że Twoja kariera się rozwija. Dawno w takie rejony nie zaglądalem. Dziękuję👍😀💪

I'm sold. Love this
I can't get enough of watching her perform.

Right. Seen in "den Atelier" at Luxemburg on 22/10/23 like you I suppose. Just damn good vibes. Soulfood. Virtuous.

As always a marvelous piece! Just can't bare those effing ads that pops in the middle of some tracks..what a pitty.
Intro wraz z pierwszym utworem wywołuje za każdym razem u mnie ciarki. Na koncercie w Gdańsku dodatkowo łzy. Coś niesamowitego.

Yes!!
Oh my, YES!
After some hesitation I agree about every word but I think a little about " the worlds". I think it should be "this world". "This is the music this world needs now". As a matter of fact I only know a little about this world.
@@staffanolofsson8201 Sorry, accidental plural so I've fixed it. I think we agree...
@@murray.altheim Yes, we agree. Take care!
