Nice feature for police use. Make a luxury Lincoln sedan with 1960’s Lincoln mid century styling.

I might be old school but for big trucks and SUV the big V8 is a must for me. The power and sound of a gas powered V8 is one of the best things in life for American motor heads!

Looks some much better than the outgoing model. And all those features are a big plus compared to GM where they still use tumble and fold seats from the 90s and position third row seat so close to the pillar that all you see is the huge pillar instead of the outside.
I want to see a tow test between Expedition and Tahoe/Yukon with a 7000# camper. Mpg, power, ride, etc. Might be neat to see a 1/2 ton vs Full size SUV tow test for comparison. (Truck should win, but how close is it now with these newer SUVs?) Maybe in the future Andre?
It's "dual" outlet is 2 tips coming out of the 1 muffler/resonator on the passenger side only tucked up under the bumper, like the current generation Navigator. None of them have the split duals on either side like the GM offerings. So @TFLtruck is technically correct that by "dual" there is 2 exhaust outlets, however it still only exits on one side of the vehicle.
The forward visibility looks terrible with those screens, It’s gonna really suck for the 5 foot 2 middle age women who drive these things(and the people who they’ll mow down)!
Seems like the automotive industry had reason to raise prices ( pandemic), and then, even though there isn't a supply shortage, they decided to keep them up.
I haven't paid too much attention to interiors of large SUVs for a while. Last time was when I was in one, a 2014 Suburban. The middle row had captains chairs and it was very easy to get in and out of the back row. I don't know if this Expedition is part of a new standard or if it's all just new. How much info do you have to show up on those dash screens when eyes are supposed to be on the road?
I was hoping for the 6.8 or 7.3 option.
@@scottythebody0811 while that would be awesome you would need to travel to an alternate universe
Lol in your dreams buddy
There's zero reason for that. It literally would make no sense.
YES
@@ryansheard8092A big gas option with no turbos makes no sense? How come?
The best part is that tailgate!
Damn kids in back seat should be reading, not watching their taaaaablet 😂
Or....reading on their taaaaaablet! 😁
@@lego4virgo😂😂😂 good one, we all know none of them can read.
Any word on if a Powerboost Hybrid option will be offered like in the F-150?
The ass of that thing really gives off Tahoe vibes.
@DaniTheNachoPirate front is a gmc sierra.
Is this enough to make me buy over a 2025 suburban?….exterior is nice, but is the 3.5l gunna be more efficient than that 3l straight 6 in the GM?
Price? $150k? 🤣🤣
Nah. I’m guessing with every single option, maybe $100k for the Platinum Max. The current one maxes out around $85k
150k more expenive than super snake.
You say that as if 85k is logical
@@fewworddotrickit’s inline with the competition, if you haven’t been paying attention unfortunately all vehicles have become expensive.
I don't care if the competition wants 300k...these vehicles have all more than doubled in price in the last 20 years and they're more unreliable than ever. Ford should quit bothering with new designs and simply figure out how to make something that isn't junk
I like how understated my 23 platinum max is. Extremely fast and luxurious but little to nothing in the outside to tell anyone, it's the IYKYK.
18:52 enormous rims with rubberband tires look silly and have no place on this type of vehicle.
Don't worry all the xani moms will have them all curbed up before the first oil change.
Looks good. I know people are complaining about the dash but it is what it is. There no going back from more screens.
Jim Farley doesn't realize more screens isnt better
Its to impress our replacement
Yes it is 😂
I'm not impressed
Do you really think they try to build a vehicle nobody wants? They spend a lot of money on customer opinion research. Ford is looking to draw under 40 customers that demand cutting edge tech. You know, those people that stand in a long line every time a new iPhone comes out.
Meanwhile Ford engineers: 😮 YOU WATCH YOUR THUMBS, GOOD SIR!
MORE SCREENS MEAN PROGRESS! WE NEED MORE SCREAMS…ahem SCREENS.
Is it possible to move the console/arm rest back and break the legs/knees of the passenger in the middle second row seat? Looks sketchy.
Gotta have a safety stop if it feels resistance.
Can hardly wait to see how much this is going to cost from Ford.
Starting price is $63,500 for a 2WD.
95k with 36k mile warranty take it or leave it 🙂
That huge screen right in your vision takes your eyes off of the road...
Well, you wouldn’t want to see the person you are running over!
It’s a convenient bubble of self delusion.
Hybrid with the 7.2 PP would be nice
I might be old school but for big trucks and SUV the big V8 is a must for me. The power and sound of a gas powered V8 is one of the best things in life for American motor heads!
I loved the eco-boost in my 2015…until I dropped 5k to replace the turbo-chargers.
The front end looks like a Chevy.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery
I really like the tailgate split, really nice and it give a nice range rover vibe. It's also just really useful. I like it, I do like the Tremor option! I am curious what they are going to do with the 3.5L Gen 3. I think its a really good and powerful motor now. With them boosting their 3.0L to a 455hp option will be interesting. You get the eco or boost... If you just keep pushing up the power there will be no eco. Do they push the platform higher or do they start to pivot to something else?
The real issues with Bluecruise is this; we do t have to buy the subscription but ford can still give access to the cameras to themselves or anyone else they want. Pay attention to terms of service when buying any newer driver facing camera vehicles.
Split tailgate is great. My money is still on the 25 armada pro4x though. That interior is ugh and GM needs that rear locker.
@@sunchaser999 Love the split gate on my Land Cruiser
The Yukon AT4 does have a elsd. Trucks have such on AT4X. This is why some assume GM doesn't offer it on this trim.
@@jeffwill4923 elsd is ok.
@@jeffwill4923 I believe the locker in the Ford is an eLSD as well with a locking function. At least it was up until 2024. It had the ability to torque vector.
The eLSD on the AT4/Z71 while not a true physical locker does have enough to act as a virtual one, with the added benefit of modulating all the in between of a open diff through a fully locked one, as well as torque vectoring.
Does that screen/instrument cluster not produce glare on the windshield at night??
If anything is certain, there will be commenters complaining about price. And I haven’t even looked at the rumored prices yet.

Wonder how many people are going to change Drive modes thinking that they’re turning on the headlights. That’s a really weird spot for that control. That’s Ford’s normal headlight switch spot.
Agreed
That was a mistake. Removing the tilt/tel button was also. Notice Andre instinctively reached for it in the usual spot only to realize it's not there. This is the 2nd review where the reviewer did that.
Very nice Expedition tremor. Thank you for the video - well done!
The Tremor version of the Expedition will it be offered in both long and short wheelbases? I would love to get the longer wheelbase.
Short wheelbase only. Long wheelbase would have approach and breakover angles so bad, it wouldn't be worth building.
Wonder how long before it gets recalled knowing Ford.
@@KNIGHTOFELEMIA-i7i it already has an open recall
Yup I wonder how long before ford actually takes care of their customers. Gm/ram just going to pray their pos makes it past warranty so the customer foots the bill 😂

Hey Ford, how about Ranger based SUV already! The 4Runner needs some competition. Go ahead and put me down for a Tremor version.

You mean bring back the explorer you could have just said that
@@Calislav96 There's already an Explorer in the States and it's a different thing and why do you give a shit on how I said it?
Looks some much better than the outgoing model. And all those features are a big plus compared to GM where they still use tumble and fold seats from the 90s and position third row seat so close to the pillar that all you see is the huge pillar instead of the outside.
That whole steering wheel setup is a big miss.
It needs 8 lugs, and a 6.7 PSD
I like this comment x100 bring back the Excursion!!!
Now we’re talking!!!
The family rented one for a long trip and it drove great.
I hope they put dual exhaust on the Expedition
From spy photos it’ll have hidden exhaust tips, as they really should be.
The High Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost (standard on Tremor, optional on Platinum) does have dual exhaust outlets.
@@TFLtruck 21:15 seems to show the Tremor but I dont see any exposed outlet.
@@2k7duramax ah thanks for the clarification.
So advanced, it beats anything in the marketplace!😊
Hopefully ford does something with those dated expeditions . Ford always sells you 5 year old tech at todays prices
Didn't he point out a bunch of stuff in this video that is new and improved aswell as only one in class
Did you watch the video? 😂
Andre is perpetually out of breath 😂
The forward visibility looks terrible with those screens, It’s gonna really suck for the 5 foot 2 middle age women who drive these things(and the people who they’ll mow down)!
We went with the Expedition (in 2021) over the Denali for that reason…. The next time around Ford won’t have that advantage.
It really looks like a major distraction. I mean, how many times do you actually look down at your gauges while driving.
She'll find the seat control. Problem solved.
Seems like the automotive industry had reason to raise prices ( pandemic), and then, even though there isn't a supply shortage, they decided to keep them up.
I'm curious to know what the profit is on, say a $ 65-75,000 truck or SUV.
Too many electronics and screens to go out and the vehicle falls short on looks as well.
I love the new ford products vehicle great job showing the rides 👌

Im so sick of the flat ugly tasteless stupid screens. That dashboard looks so stupid and hideous
I'm glad that I'm older and on my last vehicle. These cars and trucks are beyond ridiculous looking and ridiculously high priced.
Whoa those screens got me
My god that interior is a nightmare
I haven't paid too much attention to interiors of large SUVs for a while. Last time was when I was in one, a 2014 Suburban. The middle row had captains chairs and it was very easy to get in and out of the back row. I don't know if this Expedition is part of a new standard or if it's all just new. But the back two rows look very cramped for a vehicle in this class.
That screen on the dash will suck anytime the sun shines on it. There is a reason that normally gauges have a sunshade over them...
Too much complexity.
I live in Central Florida, you can still get good Broncos here that are, at the newest, 28 years old. The dashes however, are beyond baked and cracked. How do you think those screens are gonna fair?
You know I was ready to write this off until I saw the tailgate. Say what you want about the dash and what not the tailgate is a cool thing to have on a suv
