What a newly design for the expedition! I'm loving it! Cant wait for a full review by you two whenever thst happens. Amazing video as always Andrea and Zack!
finally a real expedition upgrade! this is a winner of design amazing but lose the weight add the aluminum body - i had the 2022 and it was heavy vs my f150 now and you can feel it at the pumps
I prefer a dark interior, but the new design just looks so comfortable and well done. The split tailgate is a huge improvement. I had a 16 Expedition and after opening the glass, there was still 2 feet of gate to deal with.
Great video, as always. I HATE the split tailgate. I'm short and am now a foot and a half away from the back of the vehicle. I know a lot of people like it, but I think it's very inconvenient.
Why no hev? And why no retention tabs in the 2 rr middle console cup holders? Are they that expensive? I don't want to have to buy a 130k Navi to get that. I figure a100k expy should have that... oh and why no hev??? Other wise, very impressed with the updates.
I agree. These are new cars, but often with old/proven components (engines, transmissions). In the end, they would shoot themselves in the foot because no car companies would allow them to review their products if they constantly hammered them on reliability. So, it's very important to get independent research. Buyer beware.
I just wish they would focus more on reliability. Folks who follow the auto industry know that Ford is a reliability nightmare. Doing car reviews is not all about driveability.
Ford is one of the few manufacturers with the lowest lemons laws. The last 3 years, Cadillac, GMC, Chevrolet, Jeep, and Dodge are all in the top 10 with filed lemon laws. Ford does have a lot of recalls, but that’s due to constant monitoring of their product and fixing it before it’s too late. You don’t have to mention reliability when everyone already knows just how reliable they are.
The 2018 Ford expedition was my favorite design until I seen this one... I really like this one Ford need to do some tweaks to their marketing strategy so that more people can afford their vehicles...
I would suggest you add commentary on the privacy policies of connected systems in each review given that GM and Lexus sold people's data to third parties. Perhaps also which cellular network it rides on since that might affect usage in some areas.
I don’t mind the design of it. But I do see “Grand Wagoneer” customers looking at this. So maybe that’s the issue its Rover body Jeep money now ! But with Gm lights 🤷🏾♂️ kinda work.
I actually watch all of your videos. Most of your reliability comments are based on 3 year initial quality studies by JD Power. The problem is that the average age of most cars on the road now is 12+ years. That tells me that most consumers want to buy something that they'll drive for a long time. For me, that's reliability.
I can relate to and understand your view on reliability. But with that being said, you can’t really review cars on reliability in that time span, not new cars. Even with cars in general, there’s too many variables. How people maintain their cars, if there’s a bad batch of parts, how people actually drive their cars, where you live plays into it in multiple ways. Only way to really get numbers like that are the trends over the yrs etc. But even with those the data changes over the years, not just when the next new version comes out you know. For some cars they’re known for being unreliable, but you’d still find someone who says they had the car and never had problems. And of course that goes both ways. There’s no real guarantees with any car.
2:26 the red rear turn signals are unacceptable and need to be illegal already. How is it 2024, and US manufacturers still haven't learned all turn signals are amber? I don't get it.
Wow 😮💨😍 ford is having a good looking design but……how’s the reability in the long run? Wish ford cared more. This SUV is probably $100k lol but I mean understandable
Dashboard and central displays look like the were stuck on as an afterthought rather than designed to seamlessly fit in place. Also agree that the Ecoboost engine is poor. Then again why wasn’t it built on the Ford F150 Lightning Electric base, as well as a hybrid electric version
Looks like some neat features. Typical dinosaur for the bigger is better American market. Hybrid layout?. Hopefully they improved IIHS crash test results.
Looks great, but I don't like all the EcoBoost engine problems Ford is having. My buddy's 3.5L EcoBoost is getting 17mpg in his F150 and eats spark plugs with carbon tracking.
the climate controls on a screen need to STOP. i keep eliminating vehicles from being a choice to buy on that item alone. i want a knob with the temperature on it so it's easy to use while driving. I'm sorry but anything other than an actual button or knob is not easy to use while keeping eyes on the road for anything in the car, not just climate control.
Ford and Lincoln have dethroned the Germans as lease kings, by consistently making disposable vehicles. Vehicles that barely make it 2 years. As a bonus, the frame comes rusted from the factory.
Thank you but no thank you. I will keep my 2018 expedition with proper gauges. Don't need touch screens in my car. Why they always try to copy tesla design like it's a good thing. If I would want tesla I would buy one. So stupid. Got 2023 escape plug in hybrid for my wife. Also has a big screen without physical buttons. Very glitchy and slow especially on cold days. No more screens for my.
Ugly dash design it is just awful. They should spend money on making their ecoboost engines reliable, i’d never buy another ford in my life but if i would i’d avoid the ecoboost at all cost
First expedition I actually like the design inside and out
Same. It's pretty awesome looking and practical for families
Stunning redesign! Ford did a stand up job on that Tremor model, can’t wait to see it off road!!
What a newly design for the expedition! I'm loving it! Cant wait for a full review by you two whenever thst happens. Amazing video as always Andrea and Zack!
Oh that is a big one. Looks almost like a bus. Interior has a nice size for everyone. Perfect for a long trip and/ or camping! Great show Andrea! ☕️☕️
That Tremor…dang!
I wish I could afford one 😉👌🏼

Oustanding Video As Usual 😊Thanks 😊 😊
Weird rear end reminds me of the early 2000s gmc envoy
Very GMC Sierra front end look. I do really like the moving center console.
Nice car. The back reminds me of the 2005-2009 Subaru Outback. Am I the only one who saw that? 😅
Why no hev? And why no retention tabs in the 2 rr middle console cup holders? Are they that expensive? I don't want to have to buy a 130k Navi to get that. I figure a100k expy should have that... oh and why no hev??? Other wise, very impressed with the updates.
Great review, i'm sure these are in Zack's words, going to be "Spendy".
That's awesome. I like the avalanche color with the black accents! I was sold on the 2025 tahoe but i may go this route instead!
Can you buy one with optional marine lights and anchor?
The dash has kinda grown on me
About time, looks good for a change!
Our CX-5 has that same 40/20/40 split rear seat...definitely a plus!

It’s pretty hard to focus on reliability when they only have the car for a week or in this case, they’re only showing it off.
Yeah, this is something that bothers me; they never talk about reliability.
They review brand new cars so it's kinda hard for them to see into the future esp with reliability
Who would have predicted that Toyota’s focus on alphabet people’s issues would cause all tundra motors and Tacoma transmissions to blow up?

Back end is reminding me of the GMC Envoy XUV!
That's a nice vehicle!
Good job, you two 👏
The 2018 Ford expedition was my favorite design until I seen this one... I really like this one Ford need to do some tweaks to their marketing strategy so that more people can afford their vehicles...
I wonder how many people that buy the high end trims and actually utilize the features.
Wow….beautiful!!
what size rims on the cement grey platninum?
Very nice. Price will be scary.
I would suggest you add commentary on the privacy policies of connected systems in each review given that GM and Lexus sold people's data to third parties. Perhaps also which cellular network it rides on since that might affect usage in some areas.
Oooh! Bigger and better! My Explorer is too small for the mall & pickup/drop-off lane. No whining about gas prices if you buy one.
I agree about no complaining about gas prices with this but explorer? Too small??
Interior is kind of funky. The Tahoe has a better interior but I love the exterior design.
No hybrid? Or 2.5 Ltr engine? Why 33" tires ?
I have a feeling when they asked the engineers what's the MPG, everyone started laughing.
It you spend what this type of vehicle costs, I doubt gas mileage is near the top of the priority list.
I don’t mind the design of it. But I do see “Grand Wagoneer” customers looking at this. So maybe that’s the issue its Rover body Jeep money now ! But with Gm lights 🤷🏾♂️ kinda work.
oh man, Ford followed Subaru with the black shiny plastic in the rear.
They Mande it clean
🤎🤎🤎love the new look

Canadian pricing?
Will there be a lightning version?
I wish Ford built cars and SUV’s that people could actually afford.
I'm not sure I like the screen over the dash rather than in front as usual
2:26 the red rear turn signals are unacceptable and need to be illegal already. How is it 2024, and US manufacturers still haven't learned all turn signals are amber? I don't get it.
Land cruiser did they years ago
It seems the cargo bed of this SUV is too high.
Wow 😮💨😍 ford is having a good looking design but……how’s the reability in the long run? Wish ford cared more. This SUV is probably $100k lol but I mean understandable
4:56 large person ? 😂
I bought a Ford once. Once.
Ford coming back in India or not
No diesel ? Deal breaker for me. That Eco Boost is going to suck gas, towing or not.
In Europa diesel is very impopulair.
I don’t like dashboard position
No 5.0 Coyote V8?
Where have u been?
??? I only saw the 3.5 EcoBoost
This felt like it was sponsored by Ford, no opinions just demonstrations about the new vehicle.
Yeah, hard to give opinions in a first-look press event. Their opinions will come out when they do the full review.
I agree. It's like a commercial.
@@TheMrJourneyer Exactly kinda hard to give opinions from a 5 minute first look 😂
It’s a ‘First Look’. Not a review. The review comes later. Demuro and The Straight Pipes do the same when the vehicle hasn’t been released yet.
First look is basically covering what the company has adversely. I am sure the full review will be honest

Nice ad.
Black plastic on the tailgate is gonna age badly.. And it’s very reflective!
I feel like I like the new Armada more than this.
I'd rather get the armada pro4x
Would rather a naturally aspirated engine. These turbo engines have too many issues.
How many Canadians these days will be able to afford something like this? And then there’s the gas……
Looks like some neat features. Typical dinosaur for the bigger is better American market. Hybrid layout?. Hopefully they improved IIHS crash test results.
I'm looking for a mid-size suv in a full-size suv. Come on Ford! Give us a Ranger based SUV already. The 4Runner needs some competition.
It's called the Everest in international market. Popular in Asia and Australia.
They skip the embargo
I think they meant to have it post at 8PM but posted at 8AM instead
@@Carfan678Yeah I think that’s what happened.
Looks great, but I don't like all the EcoBoost engine problems Ford is having. My buddy's 3.5L EcoBoost is getting 17mpg in his F150 and eats spark plugs with carbon tracking.
I bet people start lining up when you drive past a bus stop.
Its nice for big family. But i like atlas better.
really Ford???? that dash with a tiny steering wheel? Can’t i just have a F150 look-a-like?
the climate controls on a screen need to STOP. i keep eliminating vehicles from being a choice to buy on that item alone. i want a knob with the temperature on it so it's easy to use while driving. Nice Chevy tahoe/suburban
Dash is awful, old Prius vibes. I was thinking of this, it’s a big no now. I’m down to the new Armada as I want Apple Car Play (rules out GM / Chevy).
Ford and Lincoln have dethroned the Germans as lease kings, by consistently making disposable vehicles. Vehicles that barely make it 2 years. As a bonus, the frame comes rusted from the factory.
Why it's looks like gmc😂

If it doesn’t come with a highbred I don’t care😡😡😡😡
That dash would make me feel like I'm sitting in a bathtub.
Wow that is a face only a mother could love. The interior is nothing special, looks like every other SUV.
Ugly dash design it is just awful. They should spend money on making their ecoboost engines reliable, i’d never buy another ford in my life but if i would i’d avoid the ecoboost at all cost
I totally agree on the Ecoburst V6. Junk.
😂
With Ford you always know you bought junk, regardless of the model and trim.
Ugly… probably so expensive
the Ipad trend is ugly and cheap.
Hybrid
Yeah that dash is a nightmare, old gen was WAY better . Big swing and a miss from ole Jimbo
wow that interior is ugly A.F. ! after such a nice update to the Explorer they completely dropped the ball with Expedition.
😂
You guys were really first this is the first video I have seen of it
I wish Ford built cars and SUV’s that people could actually afford.
6 months and it will
