Damn bro you rock! Hope you're killing it at your grad role so far. Maybe u could do a video about suceeding as an analyst? Do u get to apply all the extremely theoretical concepts we learn in economics into the real world? Peace✌️
Thanks a lot man! I've only been an analyst for a few months now, so probably a bit too early for me to start giving tips to others, but definitely something to think about going forward! In terms of economic concepts, unfortunately there's not really that much university level economics being applied - most of it comes from more fundamental, A-level concepts, or are more finance/accounting related.
@@yavuzkaancelep6713 Unfortunately, since I wasn't a GC student myself I wouldn't have too much to say about it - if you DM me I can try get you in touch with some of my friends who were General Course though!
Hey! To try make balancing studies and applications a bit easier, I tried to get the bulk of my applications done by the first few weeks of term, if not earlier (had about 60% done by start of term). Once term starts and you start getting invites to interviews and Assessment Centres, I obviously focused most of my attention on preparing for those in the weeks before the interview, and left studying on the back burner a little bit. I'd say try and at least have a skim over the uni material so you've at least had a look to some extent - it'll make catching up a bit easier because you've already looked over it at least once. Things I recall doing was just listening to the lecture on 1.5 or 2x speed, quickly going through the lecture slides etc. I spent less time on Problem Set questions, since they often take lots of time and it's possible to not make much progress.
