Good info. I'm still on the sidelines of O/O because I have a gig that works for me and pays well. Not sure I'll ever make that jump to independence. You always make it sound real easy though. I want to drive a real truck again....not this plastic, speed-limited, lullaby crap.
Hey! Been following you for awhile and have a question. I’m former company driver. Went hotshot for awhile and went to Lone mountain looking at 2021 trucks they have. All good there. Then asked my insurance guy for a quote. Oh my lord! The quote was 4kdown and $2,795/month. That would be $5k just for truck and insurance. He said it is because of the value of about $72k of the truck but added he felt alone mountain was asking too much. I have Progressive insurance. So if what he said is correct on value, in my view an older cheaper truck is risky because of possible breakdown $$. I really want to jump but that is crazy. Maybe go under another’s authority but then I am back to a company driver situation. Am I missing some other possibilities? $5k before any money made and other costs that’s crazy isn’t it? I signed up on your Facebook to ask this question but looks like you are not posting. Anyway, have learned a lot from your videos- most valuable to me was load board video! Thanks for sharing how you’re doing out there.
Great advice and yes I got a Triumph account myself saved me several times.
I’ve been factoring with Triumph since I established myself as a carrier. Good service.
Yesir. My only regret is I didn’t start sooner lol make so much easier running with new brokers on the go
How is the new truck
Dont sign up with a factoring company unless its a no recourse contract.
Also check if they put a ucc lien against your company and how much it is.
For sure 👌🙌
Keep on making money Sammy, Love your channel and it's content.
Glad to see you back hoss. Have a good week.
How you doing? We need some more spot Market videos
Soon 😎 I’ve just been busy with other things going on
For a person who owns 1 Truck what structure do you suggest for personal protection LLC , or s Corp leased to a carrier
Just be careful and do non recourse factoring if you have to.
I use ComFreight HaulPay for a few years now
@@optimusprime-j7v yes that is correct. Some of those type companies will have rates that are way to high. Factoring is like swimming with snakes.

I try to keep my brokers to a minimum. Otherwise, I can't keep track.
