  • If you are looking for a putting tip that will have a huge impact on your game and give you quick results, then you've found it. I've simplified putting and have come up with an easy drill you can use to start holing putts exactly like the pros do, no joke. Learn how to transform your putting, hole more putts, and have a reliable putting technique for every golfer.
f you're looking for the best putting tip ever you've found it. This is no joke. I've always been a good putter since I followed this simple guide which got me holing the putts I needed to hole when it really mattered. The best thing I love about this putting tip is that it literally takes no you'll soon quickly see a difference.
Everyone loses their putting at one time or another. If you're not making putts, you start thinking about your stroke. Thinking about your stroke is the worst thing you can possibly do. In order to become a great putter, you need to be target oriented and aim in the right place, which so many golfers over think and go wrong.
I know it can be frustrating when you aren't putting your best but don't worry. Now that you've found the best putting tip ever, you can watch it and go back to it in the future if you ever lose it again.
So if you are looking to improve your putting, watch a simple putting tip, improve at putting, lower your scores, hole more putts, stop missing putts, then you have come to the right place. ONCE you watch this YOU’ll NEVER NEED a putting lesson again! (No Joke - Try It)

Did i miss a section? It seemed the thumbnail was giving tips about how far to take the putter away? But the lesson see,ed to be about alignment. I’ve always wondered why some pros (or anyone really) have a longer stroke and some have a short takeaway but more of a POP at striking the ball. Did I miss something?

Great tip with the box. A tip a PGA pro gave me was to putt 3 footers with eyes closed and that will confirm if your alignment is correct as taking the eyes out of it you know what straight is. He also said to be a great putter to hit 500 3 footers every day with eyes closed. 500 is a lot and I'm not trying to be a Pro, but I found just doing 25-50 earlier this Spring has helped my putting a lot.

Another viewer who felt the thumbnail didn't match the video. However, that is not why I have commented.
I liked the tips on using the sleeve box as an alignment aid. Also, the tip on hanging the arms, to work out shoulder alignment is really good. Thanks.
My takeaway (excuse the pun) on using the line on the ball. I tried this for some 6 months, a number of years ago. I felt it contributed to over-thinking my putts, which made my putting stats go up. So, I stopped it, & went back to using my putter shaft, to align to a spot, some 3 foot in front of the ball. When my technique/confidence is there, I have very good putting stats (I always try & aim for 30 putts, as I always record my putting stats, on the scorecard. As a 9-13 handicapper).
I also stopped making practise swings, as I felt that mentally they took away from my actual swing. Similar to the likes of Aaron Baddeley. It also prevents that dreaded over-the-ball possible procrastination.
Finally, I have never been able to visualise the action when coaches would say, swing from the shoulders. Thanks for not talking about that. Instead I have always preferred to, swing from the diaphragm. that way the arms & shoulders cannot become disconnected.

One thing you are missing is looking in the first couple of feet directly on your line for a mark on your chosen line so you put on your line not at the hole because focusing on a point 10 20 feet away is hopeless.
Just like in a bowling alley the put markers ahead so you can get your ball on the correct line.
Another good tip is put for a right hander with your left elbow going on your chosen line preventing a wrist flip through the impact zone.
Keep the putter head low to the ground to get top spin.
Then have your address position ahead of the center of your putting swing so you are hitting up on the ball.
Then the further you are away from the hole stand up taller which gives you better focus triangulation (ie like a range finder )on distance and a freer swing at the ball.
    Uphill grip firmer
    Downhill grip lighter
Fast greens put towards the tip of your blade.
Last keep head down after last look for distance lifting your head early causes a pull.

I practiced to a line through those dark winter months, which has been superb, I've also started using the Cam Smith ethos of read, address and putt, it really has made a positive difference, if they don't go in, they are never more than a meter away and in for safe 2 putts, it's a game changer.!

I line up the line on the ball for a 8-foot putt. It looks perfect from behind the ball but when I stand over it and line up the line on my putter it looks like I will hit it 12 inches to the right. When I putt it - it goes off to the right. I have tried moving ball forward- back. Standing closer- further away. Nothing makes it line up and I feel that my buddies have an advantage being able to use the line while I have to make sure the line is not in my sight before I putt. 7 handicap- my putting is not that bad but would love to improve. Thanks for all the help! Love your videos and you have brought my handicap eown about 5 strokes.

Any tips on reducing body tension in the swing. I have found tension to be a wonderful tool for digging up turf. Other frustrations-determining proper ball to body distance and stance position on short irons. I really fight fanning wedges open. I'm in my 60s and been out of the game for 20 years after being somewhat good at it. Regular wedge shaft length feels short to me. 5 iron is a much easier warm up club than a 7 for the same reason. Any insight always appreciated. You've stepped up your coaching big time. Keep up the good work!

  • @simonleach3812
    @simonleach3812 Місяць тому +1

Line up a straight 10' putt and put a small shallow marker 2-3' along the target line. Now take your stance and check allignment. You know the marker is true but your eyes say no because everyone's eyes are imperfect. Now move your head until your eyes agree. This may the common "eyes over the ball" but not for everyone. Now repeat this new stance for every putt. Also, many balls do not have a centre of balance that coincides with the manufacturer's mark so I spin mine in a machine and make my own line accordingly. Anal yes but I'm just trying to make everything that is within my control in my favour.

Doesn't matter much if you can't read greens like a pro. Most folks aren't playing Ryder Cup. Put the ball down guess the line and power needed. GET CONSISTENT BALL CONTACT, or everything else is just so much rat sh"t. And with a bit of luck you errors in alignment will cancel out your errors in green reading. If the ball drops, lovely. If not getting consistent ball contact will allow you to gain useful experience and learn the correct pace required leaving you with a tap-in for a two-putt.
