- If your brake lights aren't working and you can't shift out of Park or from Drive into Reverse or Park, odds are your brake light switch is sticking, broken, or needs to be adjusted. Mine was sticking (again) so I went ahead and replaced it.

My Nissan Titan did that right now thanks for the video my truck has the same symptoms. Brake lights don't turn on and won't go out of park also like you said when you're in drive won't go into reverse or parking. Tomorrow going to stop by at O'Reilly and hopefully it's the fix

@@Taylors19 No my problem was that I put aftermarket LED bulbs in the third brake light and the middle bulb was blowing up my fuse so I switched back to stock bulbs and fixed my issue. Be careful with the type of bulbs you buy if you're looking to go aftermarket because my fuses kept blowing and causing the issues.

My brake lights aren't working, but the passenger side lasted longer than the drivers side. I can't imagine its the stop light relay, since both would have stopped working if the stop light relay were fried. Any thoughts?
Did you check the bulbs? Check both to see if blown. LED bulbs are a bit more expensive, but worth it in terms of longevity. My passenger side buld was the only side that would blow.
2006 titan 4x4 break lights work until I turn on lights ,no taillights,turn signal blinks fast I’ve replaced bulbs power to harness (power to all metal in socket? )all dash lights are on,vdc,slip,check engine and abs. I have checked ALL FUSES ,RELAYS I need help
Sounds like relay issues. Did you get the BCM recall done? I got it done about two weeks after I bought my Armada back in 2010. I also had the sending unit recall done at the same time. Sounds like the BCM is the source of your issues. Good luck.

I replaced the brake light switch. Brake lights still don’t turn on and can’t switch out of park. Can it be the shifter module??
