- The new Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries DLC "Solaris Showdown" has arrived. Let's take a look at all the gameplay aspects, story, new Mechs and weapon systems together. In this playthrough we will start a new career as a Mechwarrior thrown int o a conflict against our will.

Fresh off a successful mission on the notorious Mercenary Star, Mason and crew journey to the Hardcore system where they collide with 'Mech pilot Duncan Fisher embarking on a quest to secure a spot in the FedCom Unification Tournament. Forming an unlikely alliance, Mason and Fisher traverse the shadows of Solaris, engage in harrowing 'Mech duels, and race against the clock to save the day - a true Solaris Showdown.
Join Duncan Fisher in a race against time to thwart the overthrow of the Solaris Council, discover the new Loader King 'Mech, select new weapons and equipment tailored for close-quarter engagements, and help save the very future of Solaris.
The gameplay of Mechwarrior 5 is split in two different parts. On the one hand you will have to manage your resources, hire new crew members, outfit your Mechs and travel through the Inner Sphere star map. But the action starts as soon as you get into the cockpit of your Battlemech yourself to fulfill contracts on the battlefield to earn more C-Bills and progress the story. I will review the weapon systems, battlemechs, show you how to build the loadouts and train your pilots and take a look at all the different mission types and upgrades of the MW5 Heroes of the Inner Sphere DLC.

Those T0 LRM's, unless it's different than my game running pretty much the same mods, are worth even more than 100k. You can upgrade them to T1 for about half of what the additional added value is when you sell them. Great way to cash up in the early game.
btw if you need a pilot to rest up justchange the armor or put in a different heatsink or move it around, that gives you enough time most of the time (since removing negative traits is like80+ days it is allways worth it)
getting new/better pilots should be a priority (i recomend running 6 as you main squad with 2 backups, training 1 or two on rotation when you get 50+ pilots eventually)

the free worlds patter is extremely good, you get some metallic accents that can look very snazzy

Nice colour scheme. It's tough making money in the early game but I'm loving the struggle.

also4v4 medium match is easy with the wolfhound or panther solo (bringing ai = cored mechs, while a a largelaser and mediums in the panther would work fine (just need to leg them each and then when all four are legged take out the other legs in order)
lastly drop back armor down to 5 or 6 down from 10 on the panther and wolfhound you rarely get hit in the rear so it effectives your armor points by by 9% on center torso and left and right torso by 18.2% .
On mediums it is even better, same on heavies though 8-9 back armor is mostly enough them, assaults need 12-13 at most (except the ani wich is so slow you need 14 ish.

I would take Goblin, even if you don't use his Phoenix hawk. He is a T60 pilot and is much better than anyone you can get in the early game. He is also free, no six figure hiring fee.

Are your YAML settings available somewhere? I got your workshop collection but the YAML settings are a bit confusing.
Is he using the mod that let's you upgrade the Leppard? If so which mod is it?
It's a full suite of mods called Yet Another Mech Lab and it's associated mods such as Yet Another Weapon/Weapon Clan, and Yet Another Mech Clan.
@Primearch-GG ok I have all those I need to just dig deeper in the settings I guess.
