I fly the EK448 route and then onwards to Manchester and back once or twice a year and really enjoy flying with Emirates. Even in economy on the A380, it's pretty good and the food is always nice. It's definitely a bit of a marathon though so getting up and walking around periodically is a must.
I have just recently flown with them for the first time. Even though I was flying on the oldest current 777 and a380 they were still exceptional and it was one of my best economy flights.
A380s are the type of Aircraft that I have flown on the most have been in and also with the passenger kilometers flown with 166,155 km flown on the A380s which accounts to 48% of my lifetime kilometers in an Aircraft. However with number of A380s boarded on its currently at 20 A380s all of them was with Emirates except 2 which was on Qatar Airways.
I fly the EK225+226 route multiple times a year, isn't too bad in economy if you get up and walk around Flight is always packed though (at least in September, January, December and June) which I guess are peak times It is good that Emirates is still able to fly through russian airspace, since it would add another hour or two to flight times, and I guess making the flight unbearable for some.
I flew on the EK 211/212 between Houston and Dubai. After seeing reviews on UA-cam from other flyers, I was happy that Emirates switch out the 777 for the A380 for my new year flight. Business class and 1st class are worth on their A380. I don't know how much they save flying over Russia. The inbound flight we did not fly over Russia but the outbound flight we did. The outbound was a polar flight taking us right by the north pole.
My parents have flown Dubai to Los Angeles route I have been on a flight to Auckland EK412 as it was then having a stopover in Sydney Australia, where I got off.
Flew on Emirates back in March and i can say that the standards have slipped compared with 10 years ago but despite that they are still among the best in my opinion.
I have been flying Emirates UK-Saigon for a few years, preferring Birmingham airport until two other planes landed close in time to the A380. Immigration was swamped for 2 hrs. luckily my business class limo waited for me. Another small but irritable problem arose when the airport started charging a pound coin for a baggage trolly, OK a pound is not a lot but to suddenly have to find one meant a queue, plus putting a 20 note in the machine resulted in a pocket full of coins. Oh yes and to use Birmingham over London cost 300++ pounds more. Though the lounge is great. Did try London the last time and well yes it all worked, so not sure if I might just try Birmingham again next time, pound coin in hand.
Just did the AKL/DXB and DXB/AKL route last month. Business Class makes it more bearable, but it is a bit of a drag in Economy. The service standards have definitely slipped since the inaugural flights, and I have seen the staff panicking to clear away breakfast items only 20 minutes from landing. My wife said that on a recent flight, they were rushing to clear away things after the "be seated for landing" was issued. Staff were told they didn't have time to put their jackets back on. That is poor resource management. However the food was good, the A380 is a joy to be on, quiet and comfortable, and in general, with only few exceptions, the staff are warm and friendly. Flying from "West to East, it's is a bit of a beast", as they say Usually for about three days, you'll get hit with waves of sleep around early evening. But, even going AKL/DXB and onto Milan, which is East to West, no jet lag.
The situation with Russia is unfortunate. I would certainly hope that Emirates would adopt a more strict approach, after all, Russian backed militia shot down a commercial B 777, which should feel close to home, but I guess that they don't see the current conflict as theirs.
The US navy shot down an Iranian commercial airliner on the route to Dubai. This hasn’t stopped people flying with carriers like Emirates, Qatar and Etihad
@@12345anton6789 again, US came clear, apologized, paid reparations to the families and the airline. Meanwhile Russia protected Girkin and the crew, obstructed investigation and despite overwhelming evidence denied the incident.

I flew a380 on new year’s from lax to Dubai what a great experience ❤
Got 4 flights with Emirates coming up on a 380 . First time flying Emirates so I hope they are up to scratch.
Same, I have two a380 and two 777 flights with them, I'm really excited and hopefully it's a great experience!

Enjoy! Hope you have a great flight 🛫
What routes?
Emirates is definitely the way to go if you want to fly an A380 , since they have the most of them in service BY FAR!!!!
Like that’s not obvious 😅

2:20 Is United Airlines the flag carrier of the US? What does AA think about this?
Also...I believe they are 3rd behind American and Delta
The US has no flag carrier.
I always thought of American as the flag carrier
No real flag carrier but Delta is voted the best when it comes to crew, service, lounge etc.
Emirates service is world best .
5:12 why can't they go in a straight line through Africa and the Atlantic?

I fly them for their a380s
United is the flag carrier of the US? 🤔
I was thinking the same thing. American Airline is the flag carrier and United is third largest.
You should also consider flight DXB-GRU, which also is a very lengthy in time
This is a bit of a tricky video to watch if you are a flat earth believer.
I guess not many of them work for long haul airlines lol
Hahaha. Underrated comment!
I love Emirates ❤❤❤❤❤❤
My favorite airline ❤❤❤❤❤
1:48 is incorrect... Emirates flies into DME, not SVO, in Moscow. Flown the route twice this year, with a third time coming up in a few weeks.
why difference in time of inbound and outbound?
Do same video on Air India ❤️🇮🇳
AI doesn't have A380
@@roshanantony64 🤦
How is UA the “flag carrier” for America? Wouldn’t that be AA?
Was expecting the Sau Paulo to dubai route to feature, I'm surprised all are in north America in the same hemisphere except the number 1 route
So surprising that there is no direct flight between Dubai and Atlanta, GA.
I’m have been on a few flights from Manchester uk , to Auckland. New Zealand ,
if the Aukland route was cut, Seattle-Dubai would be the 5th longest route.
Sir I have a question for you - why Emirates didn’t sending Airbus a380 to Islamabad airport pakistan 🇵🇰
I am impressed but still never flown with Emirates onboard it's A380 or 777-200LR and 300ER

Lol?Europes problem is not emirates problem like Middle East problems is not europes problem ignorant kid
Russia didn’t shoot that plane down. That’s the propaganda answer.
@@JAMESWUERTELEEveryone knows that MH17 was shot down by Russian sepretists with Russian weapons, deal with it.

can you do raynair
Wow emirates has some long routes! With that kinda luxury it probably flies bye though lol.
How is Dubai SFO shorter than Dubai IAH???
Longer great circle distance. Flight paths look different on a map compared to a globe.
Emirates Hello tomorrow
Thats the old slogan though.
Fly Emirates, Fly Better (2021 onwards)
It’s not your mind deal that UAE carries fly over or to Russia. Look to uk and usa business and look aftet Ukraine.
