hey! i'm a beginner on pencil2d and i have a few questions about the software that i can't seem to figure out
how can you move / swap frames?
are there blending modes such as add, screen, overlay, etc?
and is there a lasso tool? i see the selection tool has a rectangular option but i dont see a lasso option

you can't do blending modes. it's just a beginner animation program

Rather than making whole character in other layer you can simply go to vector layer and duplicate it

I use pencil2d animation software, mostly I use pen tool and eraser tool. you can download pencil2d software for free in their website, www.pencil2d.org/
