So, you inspired me! I had some woodland creatures having a tea party fabric. That's what I put in the center of block B. I loved how it turned out with all fall colors and sunflowers making the X in block A. Thanks for your imagination and inspiration!!
I love your creative, unconventional, crazy ideas that you make work on a traditional quilt. The world needs more "Davetizing!' Keep making videos, you're very talented and entertaining!
OMG! This quilt touched my soul on so many levels! First as a quilter....beautiful and creative! Second as a Radiologic Technologist......love the skeletons and lastly as a professor teaching the next generation of Rad Techs.....geeking out for the anatomy images! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Wow, you asked a lot of the screen printing set up and it delivered! Who else would think of this combo? No one, you’re so brilliant. And such beautiful quilting too
Wow. I never wanted to make an Irish Chain quilt. However, after watching this video, I want to make A Triple Irish Chain Quilt top. our quilt is beautiful.
I love the Scrappy Triple Irish Chain so much I’ve made three. Great use of 2.5” squares and gives those blank areas for creativity. Also kind of sums up my family lineage 😅
The muslin together with the skeleton prints was a winner of an idea. I really do thank you for all the work you put into making your videos. They are a highlight!
I really love all your quilts because each one is unique but this one is just perfect in every way! It's classic combined with modern and has a strange touch in a very positive way! Wish I had the money to let you cover my apartment from top to bottom with your quilts.
Awesome quilt! You inspired me! I set aside my other projects and made a triple irish chain of my own! So much fun! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations with us all!!
The way you put the pattern together somehow reminds of strands of DNA. The same building blocks strung together in variations but making a whole. Great idea and execution! Wonderful.
Another STUNNING Quilt! I love the vibe of the skeleton and bone illustrations, so fabulous! Your videos are so original and, may I say, so well produced. I look at UA-cam daily and some of the sewing and craft videos are ghastly, not that the projects are bad (but some of the are) but the people presenting them are so awkward on camera. You shine Dave!
I love this so much! I especially love where the screen print goes over both the muslin and the solid color of the jelly roll. Magical! Your hand quilting is also magical. Goodness this is gorgeous.
"Oh, you're not supposed to...", and "Yeah, I'm not supposed to..." and "...but I like that because it's a FEATURE." Lyrics from the anthem of artists throughout history, LOL! And yep, sometimes in the creation of art, there's bleeding. No worries, it's a feature.
Love the way you've combined the traditional pattern with the unexpected screen printing element! The use of the blue/purple jelly roll is fantastic - they're my favorite pre-cut. Another stunning Davitized quilt! By the way, that fade is sick!
Hey Dave, I’m nearly at the end of binge watching all your videos 😢… even the ones I wouldn’t make, coz I enjoy your process so much 👍. FYI… I always use “colour catchers” in the first wash of a quilt (and I no longer pre-wash the fabrics). Anyhoo… thanks for the entertainment during my bout of Covid (finally popped my Covid cherry at a recent family funeral). Keep the videos coming, including the Drag Race references as they make me smile. Take care! 😊
Just fantastic! I never use all the same color tan fabrics for background. I agree with you that it adds interest. Your screen printing looks great. Nice job!
I would just like to express how very much I appreciate you, your art and your channel. As a back sliding quilter and old enough to be your mother I have a renewed interest in the craft. I probably have watched all of your videos at least two times and all through the day and into the night and never get tired watching. I honestly can’t wait for every other Tuesday and watching you now with my morning coffee. I must say the techno of screen printing is intriguing but maybe over my head. I went to the links you provided but it says page not found? At any rate, I love you and thank you!
Dave I am a quilter who teaches neurological rehabilitation. Fancy PT. I am obsessed with your quilt. I have a brain quilt in my head. But this is brilliant.
Dave~This was a truly unique and creative way to not only make a quilt, but to show off your silk screening expertise. Love the colors and the patterns! Bravo! Another success! Bless you and thank you for sharing your quilt with us on UA-cam. Was the Jelly Roll from Kona Cotton? Just wondering...they are my favorite too! This would so compliment a High School Science class if you don't have an assigned home for it already! 🙏 💖

Dave, you are unique, talented, weird and wonderful !!! This old grama loves you.
Yes, isn't he amazing?
I love your creative, unconventional, crazy ideas that you make work on a traditional quilt. The world needs more "Davetizing!' Keep making videos, you're very talented and entertaining!
Did I just stumble across the coolest person on the internet?
Yes!!!! :)
I appreciate your “just go for it” enthusiasm - turned out great
This quilt turned out amazing. X Tool sent their machines to the right person. Thanks for taking us along.
Your Davetized quilts are simply amazing. Love your creativity.
Wow, you asked a lot of the screen printing set up and it delivered! Who else would think of this combo? No one, you’re so brilliant. And such beautiful quilting too
Not only are you creative, but you also stitch beautifully. I love this Irish Chain!
Dave, you weirdo, I swear in every single video you make a quilt that is Daver than the one before it. I love everything you do.
So now I see the Irish Chain as DNA- you really reimagine things Dave! Love your channel- I find it so inspiring in my own quilting/piecing.
Gorgeous! You can buy color catchers to control that bleed. But then bleeding on a skeleton quilt...oh the irony....
Wow. I never wanted to make an Irish Chain quilt. However, after watching this video, I want to make A Triple Irish Chain Quilt top. our quilt is beautiful.

My nephew is a medical student and I think he'd love this!! Great job!
Your triple Irish chain “just go with it” has a blurry pixel look. Just awesome!
I love your excitement. Probably will never do this, but is fun watching you.
I always think there’s no way I’m gonna like this quilt and you always prove me wrong…genius
Awesome! Thrilled me to the bone ;-)

Dave, you have outdone yourself with this quilt 🎉
It is amazing. Thank you for another great video 😊
Dave, I love that you always do something I would never think of.
The JOY I get when I see a new DCR video pop up! I've been thinking about doing this classic quilt forever- love your spin on it!
I like the quilting stitch pattern looks cool from the back. You are definitely one of a kind!
❤ the music!
I freaking love this quilt!!. . Those images would look great on tea towels for your kitchen❤❤
Another *fab-you-lous* creation. Love how some of the images got printed onto the outer coloured squares. Bravo Dave 🥰 🦿🦴🦷🦾
I guess you Davetized it!!!!❤my knees hurt watching your floor work!! You continue to amaze me.🏆
So unglaublich phantasievoll 😮 - meine Güte...
Du bist ein wahrer Künstler in deinem Kopf und mit deinen Händen. Absolut faszinierend 🎉
I never understand what you say you are going to do, nor what you are doing. But I just go with it because I know I will love it in the end.
Awesome quilt! You inspired me! I set aside my other projects and made a triple irish chain of my own! So much fun! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations with us all!!
Dave you never cease to amaze me, I smile while I watch your videos. You are sew creative, love the quilt and thank you for sharing.
The way you put the pattern together somehow reminds of strands of DNA. The same building blocks strung together in variations but making a whole. Great idea and execution! Wonderful.
You quilt the way I do, by the seat of your pants. Just go for it. Marvelous quilt.
Absolutely BRILLIANT Dave. Just BRILLIANT! I think this is my favorite quilt you have ever done. Truly beautiful.
Excellent Davidization of the Triple Irish Chain! 🎉🎉
You are truly unique. I love the Davidtisation that you create. I don’t always like what you do but i do love them. Fascinating 😂
Killer idea, love semi traditional with funky mixed in. Great quilt!!!!
Love the colors and the unique vision you bring each and every time!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Oh my gosh! In the beginning i could not imagine what this would look like, but dave, you never cease to amaze me. So fun❤❤❤

NO WAY you quilted it all by hand??? 😮😮😮😮
Btw the frankenmuslin looks absolutely fantastic. Dif shades of unbleached white r so pretty together!
The chains have an optical illusion effect, gorgeous.
Damn! You've done it again Dave!!!! Spectacular!
Every quilt you make I think it's the best one yet, but I really mean it this time. 😂 Absolutely magnificent! 🎉
I screenprint on my quilts with dye but I've never thought about all that blank space in an Irish Chain - inspired, thanks!
This is awesome! How creative. There were so many chuckle moments in this video. Thanks for making me smile this morning Dave. I needed it.
I just love where your brain goes. 😊 It's beautiful and I triple love it because of A&P , plus I'm an RN.
The quilt is amazing! ❤
The Skelton parts add so much to a pretty but general triple Irish chain. As always, well done.
This is one of my favorite quilts yet! It looks like a piece of art!
You with all that hand quilting! My fingers can't handle it. You must have those good callused guitar fingers or something.
I love this so much! I especially love where the screen print goes over both the muslin and the solid color of the jelly roll. Magical! Your hand quilting is also magical. Goodness this is gorgeous.
I have fabric in a box just waiting to be Irish chained. You've inspired me to get it out and go for it. 🎉thanks 😊
Another amazing quilt. I love that you’ve taken a classic (and not easy) pattern and made it your own. Bravo 👏
Just fantastic! Once again, your mind goes to where no mind has gone before!!
absoolutely superb. Well done and so well presented. Again - LOVE your sharing your design and work process.
Love that Irish chain you are a new generation of quilters love it create on Dave😊
Nothing “classic” about this and that’s why it’s AWESOME! Irish Chain AND Skellingtons? Classic Davetization right there. So cool, so unique!👍🏻🤩
Fantastic Dave..another great quilt! ❤
Pure Dave magic 🎩 😅
Brilliant, I love your ideas!

A real beauty and wonderfully Davitized. Thanks for sharing. Watching your videos is a great treat. ❤👍from Somerset UK
I used that exact jelly roll to make an autograph quilt for my sons wedding. The theme of the wedding was peacock colors just like the jelly roll!
