I came here to say just that! More entertaining seeing it go up two waxed planks though 😅😅
Just a suggestion…use foil tape to seal the joints vs duct tape. Hard to believe, but sealing ductwork with duct tape is not a good application. The adhesive used in making duct tape doesn’t have near the long term adhesive / sealing properties that foil tape does. Also, consider a floor sweep in the corner near the extractor, with a blast gate. Makes life easier to cleanup. Nice job on the layout and the install!

Honestly they terrify me, a friend died using one because he wasnt using fall prevention.
Cleaning that workshop floor would be satisfying. That said, I’ve got one that looks much the same and I have no desire to clean it. What’s with that?
You had a scissor lift...put a set of boards/plywood across the top of the scissor lift, put the laser cutter on that, lift the lift and slide the laser right onto the upper floor. no muss, no fuss, no weird slanted rails for it to slide off of.
I’m guessing neither of you did the MEWP training course 🙄
