Nice 👍
That happens more than ya think with trailers and RVs. It’s how I learned about that stupid traction control on my truck.
Love the videos bro
Thank you
I dated a girl that lived it Columbus in West Palm. If he's not careful you'll be coming and pulling him out of the septic tank LOL.
I always wonder why they have to spin their wheels when you are nicely pulling people out, all it does mostly is make a mess and does little if any good, in gear no gas seems the best practice to me.
Are there safe spots to hook to, if a tow point or frame spot is un available? For example: suspension components, wrap around the whole bumper, etc.
Hook to suspension closest to the frame as possible on the front
Rear axle on rear
@@matt.mckinzie cool! Thank you ^_^
That guy spinning the tires didn't help you.... When he didn't spin it looked like it was climbing on top of the grass, but every time he spun, it looks like it sunk 4".
🤘🏼🤘🏼
Cool...
I noticed your hook points aren't perfectly in line with wheels. I have a similar setup when winching if I start dragging the truck very far my scotch blocks turn(maby 20 degrees) and end up pointing at the hooks on the bumper. Do you have that problem?
No, set up is key. Run the blocks over first to get them set
Also the reason the snatch block wasn’t center on rv, is because the driver side had a tow point behind the axle under door area, which I wanted to use because the strap would go under the front axle creating a lift
The passenger side had a weird bracket half covering the hole so I had to use the tow point in front of the axle
Them the shackle allows it to pull from the center of the two points equally even if it’s not the exact center of vehicle
@@matt.mckinzie I was just curious. My scotchblocks are built to store inside the corners of the front bumper, so are a kinda compromise on functionality. Don't see to many people with experience running scotchblocks on a 4x4 thought I would ask.
@@kcgt4334 yeah, not many people use them, but with experience if you don’t drive on top of them hard, first they will move
When your winching are you in park?
Yes, and parking brake on. But the scotch blocks eliminates the driveline pressure
@@matt.mckinzieif your not using blocks, do you still use park?
@@mikemiller9339 yes, I would put in 4 lo and apply parking brake. Even for easy pulls. The 4lo will gear reduce the load and the parking brake will help take some pressure off the drivetrain
When I mean drivetrain I mean the park pin in transmission
I got mud bog worser than that my backyard
For sure, your down by citrus? if I remember right
@@matt.mckinzie no Florida panhandle do you know where 30a is at and Miramar Beach Florida
Sir you can't park that motorhome there
😂😂😂😂 right
