Most RTO companies will try for at least 3 months to get payment and in contact with customer. Own a building company and you cannot imagine how many times we have been chewed out for "STEALING" their stuff. Once it comes on our property we are under NO leagl abligation to allow the renter to get their stuff. We try to give them a little time. But that is out of the goodness of our hearts, not because we have to. And going thru some of these repos will absolutely make your skin crawl!!!!!
There's some people that will burn it to the ground and immediately leave either across the state or even the country

House repoed while 2 people are working..what's wrong with that sentence/ picture. Throughout my decades as a adult..when paychecks come..first and most important has always been THE ROOF OVER MY HEAD. Then car payment then heat etc..last things were always television cable , food other than inexpensive spaghetti and sauce. Beer etc. When I was a drinker . But...nevermind.

These repo guys are just doing their jobs. 5 years ago had our SUV repoed. We honestly had no idea what was going on. Made no trouble for the guys, and that was that. Turned out our bank fucked up big time.
2 weeks later drive 150km to get out SUV back. Owner of the repo business comes out...big biker, I'd bet Hells Angles...you just got that vibe as soon as you entered his premises.
You own that red Mitsubishi he asks me..... Yep I said . My guys said you were very respectful of them, gave them no trouble...I appreciate that. Ends up giving me $100 for gas, $100 to cover lunch, and cuts he a huge break in lot fees while we were sorting shit out.
Anyone can fall or hard times or be the victim of a mistake like in your situation. It’s all in how you handle it that determines the outcome. You handled it perfectly and it showed in the end.

Secondly on how not all bikers 'Harley riders' are cunts. Dude didn't have to do shit for me, but showed his true self...,which left me gobsmacked. My attitude towards the Harley crowd changed a little bit that day.

Josh is a shed repoer that I watched, and he could load any size shed all by himself. He was awesome and never used ugly language.
Josh is much more professional. This unit was filled with the personal belongings of the people and this guy didnt even use the mule to keep it halfway level to keep from destroying said property. People fall on hard times , is no reason to not care and tear up what they have.

My brother in law let his daughter take his mobile home that he'd paid for 20 years. She was to make the last payments and pay the rent on the lot. Reposession amount due 1500, and lot fee of 5000 later...he lost it all. What a daughter. We told her for 6 months that they were going to come lock her out, so if she had anything she better get it out. She did nothing. She had here son there too and all his possessions. Nothing. The week before that someone re-poed her car, so then she didn't even have a car to sleep in. 6 months she could have reversed this. Gone. So I totally understand. Complete denial.
Irresponsible people can expect serious perercissions. And they will always blame the world, and not themselves.
I personally don't get some people and how they think these days. I admit I don't have a lot coming in, but I manage to make sure I have a roof over my head, food to eat, car insurance & gas then what I have left I put back for a rainy day.

I'm 61 y/o and this generation's way of thinking is so different from what ours was. We were taught to "Buy" and not "rent" and buy only what you can afford and NEED and save money. This generation believes you need to impress people by buying name brand clothes and shoes which eventually end up in the trash and you have nothing to show for it but an empty bank account. This generation believes you need fancy haircuts and bling to compete with one another. Our generation believed in securing a place of our own to live with no landlords. We bought old clunker cars and learned to work on them. Those tactics got us by until our hard work at our jobs (that we were grateful to have) earned us enough to upgrade our vehicles. We believe in going to work everyday and it was wrong for us to miss work. We felt guilty if we missed work. We knew it was costing both our boss and us money if we missed work so we did everything we could not to miss work. That's how we moved up in the company to make better wages. I was a boss for 30 years before I retired. One of the reasons I retired was because this generation believed they could take off work whenever they wanted too. It didn't matter that customers were waiting for their orders. The one saying that I heard so much was "I was looking for a job when I found this one🤨" like they didn't care that they had just gotten fired. A week later they would come with their wife and both were begging for his job back again and apologizing. From what I'm witnessing is a lot of this generation doesn't care anymore how things work out for them.

Then the good ones like my husband and I can't buy a home and we both work hard for everything
sad when people fall on hard times and get behind to where the repo man shows up, and then it gets worse in this case being homeless is next the family splits up and falls apart it is all bad, pray for all of them be safe god bless

I never had a late payment on anthing. I own my own home and will be paid in full in about four years. No car payment ( 8 yr old with 85k miles). No credit card debt. Retired (75) and live comfortably on about $6700 a month. Always lived below my means and didn't live to impress anyone.
Some working people don't have that much a month coming in that you have for returement.

We had a bad streak 30 or so years ago and they repoed my truck I knew I was at fault so I was out helping get the truck unloaded ready to go ( I was a big guy then 6-2 and 325 ) the guy told me that when I first walked out I scared the shit out of him because he didn't know how I would react.....but after talking a while he offered me a job repoing and I worked that for a while until my work opened back up

There was not much in it I removed most of it before I started the video
If I remember correctly, they are free to go to most or all of these repo facilities and gather any belongings in the building. It's just that sometimes they have to take it with a lot of stuff in it because it's too tedious to remove it all and it would be left outside and exposed. I have seen some shed repo people have to take sheds with the smelliest toilets and such in them that didn't even have proper plumbing.
Pretty sure thay could go pick up any personal belongings.

I went to a shed sales place and got a price sheet and payment schedule. This is strictly a rent to own proposition and the normal rules of eviction do not apply.
No money down
27 percent interest for five years
Owner is responsible for any zoning or foundation requirements.
It would be totally illegal to rent this as a habitation and since there are no building or sewage or electrical permits, there are no tenants rights.
So just as easy to take as a car

ALL manufactured (mobile) homes are registered with the DMV.
They are re possessed just like cars for missing payments.
That Amish guy would of backed his trailer right up to it and got it out of there in 15 min. Tops! By himself!
Sometimes he brings his 'boss' along with him, but yup, he's solo.

It been faster leave the back end on the mule & raised up level with the trailer instead of having all that weight on the trailer raised all the way up.

When my car was going to be repoed i made sure everything was out they came at 2:30 in the morning and asked for the keys i got them and asked if i could get my daughters coat he said no problem when i went outside it was already hooked up waiting to go i never yelled or got angry i knew it was coming i just didnt get another job soon enough to make the payment sometimes things happen beyond your control but dont take it out on the ones who are doing their jobs

It's sad when you live in a shed with no electric or running water, total cost at the most 5000 dollars, and you get it repoed.

We had some people come in across from us and had A 12 x40 felivered in a really digficult spot up here in da mountains. They screwed up and the builder came for it and was gone with it in less than 30 minutes. I was ready to watch and they were gone with it. I couldn't believe ut. Didn't even see them go.😮😮😅😅😅

A guy I worked with told me a story about a friend of his, said when he got home from work one night all that was left was an empty lot and it wasn’t a repo it was his wife she left him and took the mobile home & everything in it!

My parents been repoing mobile homes for 25 years we did one the day before Christmas we felt bad helped them move out all their stuff to the parents house next door on are lunch break he broke every water line in the house so when my dad came back and seen the damage he gave the guys Crack pipes we found on top of the kitchen cabinets and bank notices to the guys father

Most people here where I live in South Carolina have a system, they pay the down payment on rent or purchases they move in and don't even pay the first payment. I takes the land ovner, car dealer, bank whoever about 4 to 6 monthe to reposes anything and just as long to kick somebody out. It's the way they live and they keep on doing it, sometimes their whole life. I rented a house to folks who seemed ok up front but turned out to be the tenants from hell. We owned several rental properties, not any more, Once you get burned thats it.
