Wow wonderful i like even i will travel in British airways from lhr to jfk airport Newyork for business training after completing my masters in oxford university
I used to enjoy just laying on the beach for hours on Long Island, didn’t really matter which one, and just watch the heavys on their way to JFK. I won’t be seeing that anymore, sadly.
Well that's a sight you don't see at JFK anymore......not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 British Airways 747's at the same time!!!! That was awesome. And the Etihad A380 takeoff was an awesome sight to see also. I sure do hope they bring that beautiful A380 back to JFK sometime next year or hopefully in 2025.🤞🏻🤞🏻✈️
Excellent good quality video seems very professional video Grapher, enjoyed it thoroughly and landing was very smooth and till parking it was very even professional pilots, miss queen of skies badly
If I could chose to fly 747s, it would be the Iran Air 747SP or 747-200, KLM or this one!! Those RB211s are just such good engines!!! Very nice video!!
ATC - Air Traffic Control. Radio communication between the control tower (air traffic controller) and aircraft (pilots/captains). In this case JFK tower and the Speedbird.
the impression I've had of BA these days is they're more "stuffy" or "pompous" like those in anything below Club Class is "beneath" them...As they're my own country's main airline I would like to fly with them again, but these days not so sure
dave glover I did not know that winglets have been in use on commercial flights as early as the mid-1980s. The Boeing 747 400 series entered service in 1989, so you are correct, it probably did have winglets, even that far back in time.
What a beautiful view that is of the wing and that Rolls Royce engine….. and that sound !
Very nice! Such an awesome aircraft! Brings back memories! Liked
thanks
Very nice awesome that ATC was included as well
thanks! :-)
Love Speedbirds!
they sure are good
Enjoyed the arrival footage. Thanks!
These are awesome videos thanks for sharing😃I love take off and landings👍🏻
glad you like them Becky

the rb-211 is a classic engine!! Thanks for watching! :-)
nice video but wouldn't you be flying down the East coast for jfk
thanks for finding the mistake! :-)
I am going to New York in April is BA a great airline to fly with or is there another airline better
BA is the same as most airlines. i would see which one is cheapest for the dates you want to go
The outer casing of the engines looks unusual; it looks like a Boeing 707 casing!
Whats ATC?

Definitely gonna book that seat so I can see the smoke when we land😌
nice idea
I love NYC
so do we

there are better airlines out there. thanks for watching! :-)
ATC.....? what??
I was on this flight
Nice! Thanks for watching! :-)
The 400 series did not have winglets when it was first introduced, they must have been added on later...
BA 747 400s all had winglets...

That was probably the -300 series or 743, it had the extended upper deck, but was more like the classic types as opposed to the -400
This is a Airbus not a Boeing....most likely a A340
