Incredible work Jhae! The amount of amazing techniques and angles is breathtaking. Perfect proportions combined with brilliant attention to details makes this Gunship a top tier design not just as a LEGO MOC but in general as a Star Wars model. Definitely my favorite design among all excellent Gunships out there.
I am curious if you would be willing to do a comparison with David Buchholz version. Until you dropped this I felt like he made the definitive version, but yours is absolutely stellar. It really perplexes me on which I should invest my money on. Your model is truly something else man.
So true, seeing how great these are felt like a bit of a gut punch because I just finished the clone wars version built by David. Still amazing though, but I might just have to buy Jhae's ep2 gunship intructions. While I'm still happy with having david's ship, Jhae's model really does make me question whether the ucs version is still worth it when this is the right size with more detail.

@@j0j0kay I also build the episode 2 version. There aren't any super rare parts and it costs about 290€.
These Gunships are just so perfect and clean! Easily the best I have seen out there by far. I can’t wait to see what vehicle Moc you create next!

Wow this is truly art. I just purchased a gunship from republic bricks and I thought it was quite impressive. That being said, your model is truly the best and most accurate gunship ever! The stud less design and all the interior parts and angles you managed to get in is just incredible. I am seriously considering on buying your instructions instead and building your model. Definitely one of the best gunships out there. I love that you got the tapered look of the body and slim front end. Three suggestions/questions tho. Firstly what exactly are the gold bars on the back. I never noticed them in the films. Secondly, I am not a massive fan of the missile belt design. It just doesn't look right in my opinion. Maybe that is bc of the scale of ur model. David used pice #18041, but his design looks smaller than yours so I can see why that wouldn't work. Thirdly, I would love to see you attempt to build a more flush front gun design like David. I think the previous two suggestions would make you gunship the best one out there. All in all, I love this design. You should consider building an AT-TE or some other funky walkers :)

I don't know the exact number, but it's definitely minifig scale.

How big are this gunships? I feel like theyre a little too big for fig scale but im not quite sure. GREAT models btw, the accuracy is unreal
They're definitely minifig scale. I used the cockpit pieces for scale and sized everything around that. I'm not sure why people think these are so big. They're MAYBE slightly bigger than the playset haha.

And I like that the gunner turrets actually look proportional to the overall size of the shape WHILE keeping it minifig scale. That’s something that kept me from getting David’s model, is that the bubble turrets looked a little too big
