Whoa, those are some sweet mods. I prefer the colour conversion as well, and I love the bubble turrets. Very nicely designed!

When will the brick link file be available??
I just made my order it came out to be about 61 dollars on Lego's pick a brick wall it included the double door mod so I can assume the price of just the color swap would be about 50-55 I can also assume it will be the same with brick link. IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW LEGO HAS A BLACK FRIDAY DEAL WERE THE 5 DOLLAR DISCOUNT IS 75% OFF MEANING INSTEAD OF 600 INSIDER POINTS IT'S LIKE 150.

@@TheRanger995 yeah i got all my pieces only problem i have is the doors its a color swap i couldnt figure out how to do the doors for the life of me so i have it half built in a box somewhere idk if its just me but i wouldnt recommend personally
I just don’t think he will ever reply and give us the XML I’ve tried using twitter to message him 3/4 times as well as leaving comment here very sad
The white looks great, but I’m glad LEGO made a variant instead. They already made 4 in white, it’s nice that they brought a different one that is valid in the clone wars universe.
The "Landing At Point Rain"/Early Season 3 variant of the Gunship is my favorite as well!
Still don't understand the hate for the fact that it is a Coruscant gunship, this is my lifetime dream set plucked from my brain. Lego please bring on more themed Gunships and AT-TEs and more!!!
I think you could move over the white slope underneath the gunship and reveal another technic hole that is a little further forward?

How do you make the bubble turrets
It does look great in white, but I might be one of the few weird human beings who prefer the ship in red, since we don't get this kind of deviation often. Usually it's just the same thing but upgraded(or downsized) each time
Finally, i thought i was the only weird human who liked the red gunship, the white one looks great with all the modifications, but i prefer the simplicity of the original one 😅
I agree full heartedly. The variation in style is a breath of fresh air with all the repeats we get.
I personally don't dislike the colour, I dislike the size and the door part of the set to be honest. I never owned the previous one and it looked so good.

Yeah I think more legion specific sets are cool and gives variety
I feel like similar to an XWing, Tie Fighter, and Millennium Falcon, there should always be some version of a gunship on the shelves to purchase.

Thanks for the video! I have to ask though, are you still planning on linking the XML file for the Bricklink parts list? I’ve bought a set solely to do this colour swap and it’d be nice to know if the parts list is still coming or if I should go ahead and try to replicate it myself. I know a few of us in the comments would appreciate an update.

Where is the XML file?
Considering the second hand market of gunship prices, $215 for a white gunship is actually the cheapest version of the gunship you could get right now! And I prefer the smaller gunship size, the old ones were always a bit large in my opinion, especially how high the ceiling was for the minfigs

There is a way for you to open the doors after the color swap. If you put the bubble turrets into the round technic piece you may be able to open the doors

Awesome video. I remember watching this channel when it was still Legoboy12345678 and seeing the clone army video in 2012 when it came out - that was a favourite YT video back when I was a kid. Really brilliant to have been here the whole journey through Kashyyyk, Scarif and Crait and looking forward to what the future holds! Keep up the excellent work David.

I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority but I really like the look/color to the new gunship. I’m kinda glad they gave us a variation of an existing vehicle as to not just get the same stuff every 10 years and it was executed almost perfectly. My only gripe is that I wish it were as big as its predecessor and that commander fox were a little better/accurate
It does look good, but the biggest problem is that we can’t buy a regular gunship and the ones that we can get are extremely expensive because they’re retired

Maybe its just because ive been buying lego star wars since i was a child when the phantom menace came out. But im happy when they change things up. Im personally not an army builder anymore. I have a lot of financial responsibilities as an adult now and lego has released a minifig scale gunship three times now prior to this. I got 2/3. I personally dont need a third slightly differently sized gunship. But what ive never had is a unique variant gunship. Which people used to beg for back when clone wars was the primary focus of lego SW.
Theres kind of a conundrum with lego. Theres always new people starting collections and Its gotten much more popular in the last five years to buy and collect lego. So either lego will stay in a perpetual cycle of constantly remaking the same ships so new people can obtain one at a lower cost. Or my hope was that they would start doing this and making variants. And the beauty of lego is that its interchangeable. It is a building toy and i applaud SolidBrix for displaying creative solutions for people who would want that standard white gunship.

I color swap, my republic gunship, added ball turret’s and the total was about $60-$70 on pick a break for the new parts free shipping free standard fees and I can’t wait till the part comes. They should come this Tuesday after Thanksgiving and the other standard parts should sometime after Christmas. I’m really looking forward to seeing how it looks. I hope it looks great.
If you used the xml file exactly please tell us if there are any missing pieces I want to color swap the gunship and I don't want to make more then just one order because a couple of pieces were missing thank you.
