The Rockpool Hunter 2/3, had a mistake of typing 3/2 instead. You'd think that he'd just write it off as a small typo, but he actually bothered to reedit and reupload. He's either paid tons or is a God.
I just want to say that I am loving the new Trump teachings and like how far in depth you go and can say that your teachings have made me a better player. Thank you for teaching me the meaning of value Trump.
in my opinion you don't need any legendaries to play this deck except curator. finja is a great card for a murloc deck but it's not key in this one for obvious reasons. tirion is worth running in any version of this deck if you have it but it's really not crucial if you play a more aggressive version. can even be a liability to have in your opening hand, but when you really need it, it's one of those cards you can get with stonehill defender. and if you're employing the "cheap aggro deck" philosophy, ragnaros and arguably sunkeeper might not even make the cut, let alone be required. if you're set on playing a slower, more resilient version you can play ivory knight instead of these two, or wickerflame if you have it. the only legendary i feel like you really need for a budget murloc paladin is the curator, because it becomes even more crucial the more aggressive you make the deck, and a budget version most likely has to be more aggressive. but curator's also the only one you get from a solo adventure so i'm assuming it's the one you're not missing. if your curve just stops at the curator it's fine, in place of primordial drake some people use a twilight drake or honestly even a faerie dragon, or you could just skip the dragon. i've seen people do well with faerie dragons, golakka crawlers, and zoobots. the reason i don't like twilight drake is because 4 mana is already overcrowded in this deck - you're probably gonna draw something better to play on turn 4. either you need to use truesilver urgently, or you have murlocs to buff with megasaur, or you would prefer to flood the board with 2-drops or hero powers to set up for your buffers. twilight drake is a decent value card against some decks but when you draw it early you usually have better plays, and when you draw it late you usually don't have many cards in hand. so if i was missing the legendaries and some epics i'd just switch gears to a lower curve and potentially even try out the zoobots. for epics you definitely don't need primordial drake but the deck is probably pretty garbage without 2 copies of inquisitor, warleader, and megasaur. by the way i've seen a lot of these more aggressive variants on ladder, some looking pretty budget friendly, and they all seem to be running blessing of kings. when it gets played, at least against me or from what i've seen on stream, it ALWAYS seems to flop. it seems like a solid aggressive card on paper but like twilight drake, a buff in the 4 slot is usually worse than the other 4 drops. i think even the most aggressive decks would do better with spikeridged steed but i don't see it a lot. 2 golakka crawlers and 2 hungry crabs is not a bad idea either which pretty much fills every slot. primalfin lookout and bluegill warrior get put in for some reason but both seem weak to me. though primalfin has a good rationale, the aggressive variant really needs to justify every non-central card slot by asking how well it hedges against board clears, which are in over half the decks right now. so any 2-for-1 card is super strong, either draw or discover. arguably stronger in most spots than the legendaries you're missing, it's just so hard to beat a mage without rag. maybe lay on hands if you have it, or ivory knight - good luck with it :)
Toxically Masculine thanks for the advise! I tell you what, it's annoying that the only deck you can really climb the ladder with without having karazhan is Hunter, so I guess I gotta save up for it.
i went on a 15 win streak with a hunter deck that had 10 rares and 20 commons. and yea, you only really need curator for this deck, or just play the agro variations.
Trump, I like this series together with your Discover Mage and Taunt Warrior Talking things from deck building to gameplay strategies are really nice! Hope to see more similar stuff in the future :D
Video shows just how bullshit Jade Druid is and why ladder is now infested with aggro. That said, I really love the style of this video. You actually describe what you're doing and why you're doing it instead of sitting mute and bitching when someone "top decks" a card.
The Joker yeah.. thats why I said "IMO".. Compare Ragnaros, an 8/8 that heals replaced by an Ivory Knight or Forbidden Healing or Lay on Hands and the best value would be Ragnaros which is, again for me, necessary for mid-range..
I hit legend with a much more aggro-inclined version of mid-range - no curator package no ragnaros, but i'd say my playstyle was still midranged - add murlocs and divine favour and you're in business against most decks :)
I don't understand why he let the druid keep Fandrel and the Auctioneer on the board. I would have seriously considered nuking the board over the Auctioneer alone but surly leaving Fandrel and The Auctioneer up the following turn was a huge missplay
looking again I guess he didn't leave them both up and getting the kill with the spikedrigde steed is good. It may have been luck that the druid had all their value cards together and maybe draking there could seem wasteful but any time you leave the chance for Jade druid to nourish with Fandrel, if you can help it, is usually a screw up
What is the reasoning for cards that summon other cards not triggering battlecries? I could see that being crazy, but it would make the Meta even more diverse, IMHO.
I don't even play Hearthstone anymore and that Jade Druid deck was tilting me. Watching him spit out 10/10's like it was nothing every turn from those nonsense Jade Idols was insane.
So when's the video coming out about how to beat OTK/Combo decks with slow control decks? Being QR or QM is fairly easy with an aggro deck but how exactly do you win with a deck that's not meant to smorc?
It's simple... you just don't win. OTK/Combo decks are very good against slow control decks. You are not supposed to win against a combo deck with control.
Is elise trailblazer good in this deck? also, why only one EQ? I feel like EQ cons is like the only good clear you have in this deck. Especially against face decks
for the same argument you might as well say that every single discover card is cancer for the game as you can just get anything situational for that moment and use it there and then "oh the enemy got a big game hunter from discover a minion card and it just happened to destroy my minion with 7 or more attack (when the card he got it from usually never on average does anything better than ok), literally cancer for the game just remove it"
I'm not talking about every other discover card. I'm not talking about the discover mechanic being cancer for the game. I was talking about poisonous PERIOD! It is WAY too much value. Way to be a tool bag though buddy :)
so after you first need to have board, then draw into the 2 out of 30 cards in your deck that then has a 3/10 chance to get it is too much for you, better make a reddit post about it then
Can someone pls tell me if its smart changing anything since the murloc warleader got nerfed? like a coldlight seer for a Inquisitor or something like that?
Healing is necessary in mage and aggro matchups which are both prevalent on ladder right now You can replace with other healing but there is a reason Rag is being run and those aren't, Rag is an 8/8 on turn 8 that heals for 8 EVERY TURN so if your opponent plans to burn you out they effectively have to go through an additional 16 hp the turn you play Rag (assuming he heals face) or lose the game to repeated healing. Other cards bring value in other ways but none are anywhere close to Rag so if you do choose to replace just accept that you will have a low winrate vs these decks and if you are really trying to ladder quick just concede
That is a factor I suppose given that Tirion has diminishing marginal returns as there are only so many whacks you can take with weapons, but still I can definitely say from my experience playing Control Paladin to high legend this month that Tirion is the superior card.
Matthew Bowens To make your choice easier, Tyrion has used in basically every paladin build since forever since hes just a standalone value king. Rag is also extreme value, but he cant compete with tyrion in that regard and like tyrion lacks deck synergy so he doesnt make it into every deck. Prioritize tyrion, then find a way to make rag later
When i try play like this in rank 5.. i win 1/5 games typical.. most of time i gets 5 stars but after it i lose 5 times... and back 0. Can this deck run legend rank?
HarttZa Idk, but I got to rank 19 with the deck you build from leveling up palidain so I would learn how to get better with that. This seems too technical for that low of a rank ranker. (Idk if I am right though, I have only been playing for a couple days)
Lucid Truth He doesnt win any game with tyrion either but its still a must. Still, Finja, rag and wickerflame are considered the non core legendaries, they can be replaced, if necessary. Usually by adding a second primordial for rag or another kodo for finja
trump you show us 3 games with the perfect starting hand, what should we learn in this video ? to Showball the opponent?. Lame video. STarting hand with rag steed and kodo would be interesting
YOU SAW NOTHING!

why the reupload though?
The Rockpool Hunter 2/3, had a mistake of typing 3/2 instead. You'd think that he'd just write it off as a small typo, but he actually bothered to reedit and reupload. He's either paid tons or is a God.
You had one job Jens, one job
The format at the beginning is so good, it looks great too.
Holy shit give this man a trophy.
I just want to say that I am loving the new Trump teachings and like how far in depth you go and can say that your teachings have made me a better player. Thank you for teaching me the meaning of value Trump.
This way of displaying the deck explanation is way better than the other one. Gj man!!
Totally! I didn't really like the first layout concept, but this is superb!
I want to play this deck.
Too bad I'm only missing 4 legendaries...
in my opinion you don't need any legendaries to play this deck except curator. finja is a great card for a murloc deck but it's not key in this one for obvious reasons. tirion is worth running in any version of this deck if you have it but it's really not crucial if you play a more aggressive version. can even be a liability to have in your opening hand, but when you really need it, it's one of those cards you can get with stonehill defender. and if you're employing the "cheap aggro deck" philosophy, ragnaros and arguably sunkeeper might not even make the cut, let alone be required. if you're set on playing a slower, more resilient version you can play ivory knight instead of these two, or wickerflame if you have it. the only legendary i feel like you really need for a budget murloc paladin is the curator, because it becomes even more crucial the more aggressive you make the deck, and a budget version most likely has to be more aggressive. but curator's also the only one you get from a solo adventure so i'm assuming it's the one you're not missing. if your curve just stops at the curator it's fine, in place of primordial drake some people use a twilight drake or honestly even a faerie dragon, or you could just skip the dragon. i've seen people do well with faerie dragons, golakka crawlers, and zoobots. the reason i don't like twilight drake is because 4 mana is already overcrowded in this deck - you're probably gonna draw something better to play on turn 4. either you need to use truesilver urgently, or you have murlocs to buff with megasaur, or you would prefer to flood the board with 2-drops or hero powers to set up for your buffers. twilight drake is a decent value card against some decks but when you draw it early you usually have better plays, and when you draw it late you usually don't have many cards in hand. so if i was missing the legendaries and some epics i'd just switch gears to a lower curve and potentially even try out the zoobots. for epics you definitely don't need primordial drake but the deck is probably pretty garbage without 2 copies of inquisitor, warleader, and megasaur. by the way i've seen a lot of these more aggressive variants on ladder, some looking pretty budget friendly, and they all seem to be running blessing of kings. when it gets played, at least against me or from what i've seen on stream, it ALWAYS seems to flop. it seems like a solid aggressive card on paper but like twilight drake, a buff in the 4 slot is usually worse than the other 4 drops. i think even the most aggressive decks would do better with spikeridged steed but i don't see it a lot.

Pls, paragraphs save lives
I played with super aggro murloc paladin, ended at rank 3 but i feel like i could get to legend with more time
I really like this "new" series, the structure of it and the editing help alot to make it good
Jens, amazing job on the overlay and the introduction, big props!
You put much more work into your deck teachings now, I love it, good job
This intro was way better than the huge lists before, keep it up!
Much nicer way of displaying the decks and cards at the beginning. Very nice job Jens! :D
i only just realized that in the end credits picture trumps "teaching ruler" (idk what to call it) is made our of marker pens XD
Multiple uses = more value!
These videos are great. Please keep making them. =)
Good video Trump! I really do enjoy when each step is explained, it may point out instances I otherwise might not have thought of.
Didn't mind the small deck examples but love the larger ones!
Great Video Quality, thanks mr. Trump and jnZaneHD
Trump, I like this series together with your Discover Mage and Taunt Warrior
Talking things from deck building to gameplay strategies are really nice!
Hope to see more similar stuff in the future :D
Lets face it, Trump forgot to play around Primordial Drake at 22:22 which is pretty common in Jade Druid now, basically the reason he lost.
I hope you're joking lol.
Video shows just how bullshit Jade Druid is and why ladder is now infested with aggro.
That said, I really love the style of this video. You actually describe what you're doing and why you're doing it instead of sitting mute and bitching when someone "top decks" a card.
I much prefer this to the wall of decklists amazing work jens, must be a lot more fiddeling for you.
I don't remember the last time I watched a Trump video
Awesome job with the deck list intro!
What is the best way to get dust to craft these legendaries?
pay 200$ to buy packs
stealing someones credit card
get a job, buy packs
rob a bank, buy packs, realise that you're only getting rares and epics. Stop buying packs. Go to school
I would prefer building decks depends on what legendaries you have. For example, I got Lyra and thus I craft all the cards for Miracle Priest.
How about some Gwent videos?
Which is a better turn one play, Tidecaller into Rockpool, or Inquisitor into Rockpool?
2 Trump Teachings in one day? :O
-- Ooooooh, wait a sec >:-(
Pretty please do Elemental Shaman
Holy crap thank you i really needed this
At 8:40 , why did you attacked with the 2-2 instead of the 1-1? Great vids by the way. Subscribed!
*ZANANANANANANANANANANANAN*
I bet he used that name just tu jiggle whenever anyone talks about him xD
That would be insanananananananane.
THE MADMAN
MADMAAAAAAAN
Pommespanzer. German Nicknames, so great.
My favorite Nickname I ever encountered: Bierkoffer.
Could you add the deck's string code thingie in the description, to easily import the shown deck to HS? :)
NICE! Love this deck type!
is mid-range paladin worth playing without Ragnaros?
IMO, its not.. Ragnaros gives you an immediate board threat and heal which is necessary for control..
The Joker of course it is! Just replace it with ivory knight/lay on hands/forbidden healing and you are good to go!
The Joker yeah.. thats why I said "IMO".. Compare Ragnaros, an 8/8 that heals replaced by an Ivory Knight or Forbidden Healing or Lay on Hands and the best value would be Ragnaros which is, again for me, necessary for mid-range..

when hungry crab is meta what a times we live in
I am a ghost dog. Fear me.
Who's a good boy?
YOU ARE
boo(f) also hi finneas didn't expect to see a urealms fan here
I have 400 dust should I craft my second Gentle Megasaur or a Lay on Hands?
I don't understand why he let the druid keep Fandrel and the Auctioneer on the board. I would have seriously considered nuking the board over the Auctioneer alone but surly leaving Fandrel and The Auctioneer up the following turn was a huge missplay

14:15 "Ragnaros hits yourself because all of your opponents (?) will be at maximum health" Did i hear this right?..
Pommespanzer! Great german nickname. XD
i like the trump teachings ^^
can u teach full face murloc ? with paladin and shaman ? :D
ZANANANANAN's deck

Question: Is there any such thing as a Modular HS Deck atm?
So when's the video coming out about how to beat OTK/Combo decks with slow control decks? Being QR or QM is fairly easy with an aggro deck but how exactly do you win with a deck that's not meant to smorc?
It's simple... you just don't win. OTK/Combo decks are very good against slow control decks. You are not supposed to win against a combo deck with control.
Is elise trailblazer good in this deck? also, why only one EQ? I feel like EQ cons is like the only good clear you have in this deck. Especially against face decks
Can i put something instead of Inquisitor or no?
This deck is phenomenal to make easy legend
If I could create it would be the only deck I would use ! fun and op !
Is this still worth crafting?
you got purely botted by that jade druid, dude.
Poisonous shouldn't be part of the adapt mechanic..
"i lost to this so remove it from the game"
Do you think it's ok that you can get a kill anything proc from the adapt mechanic?! It's lame and bad for the game
for the same argument you might as well say that every single discover card is cancer for the game as you can just get anything situational for that moment and use it there and then
"oh the enemy got a big game hunter from discover a minion card and it just happened to destroy my minion with 7 or more attack (when the card he got it from usually never on average does anything better than ok), literally cancer for the game just remove it"

so after you first need to have board, then draw into the 2 out of 30 cards in your deck that then has a 3/10 chance to get it is too much for you, better make a reddit post about it then
Do you think that this deck is playable with zero or only one Vilefin?
Can someone pls tell me if its smart changing anything since the murloc warleader got nerfed? like a coldlight seer for a Inquisitor or something like that?
more please daddy trump
Make a new one for KFT plz!!!!
is cureter a must
How long till the Gwent videos i need Gwent videos........
So every single card in this deck can be farmed, but i am not getting my hands on curator any time soon, so is it viable without it ?
Would you be able to put a import for your decks
Is this still viable for legend?
Please do a budget deck, as in no more than 2000 dust please!
Joseph Best fucking peasants
Skaptor I don't have hours a day to put into hearthstone and I don't have a lot of money either so I gotta start somewhere.
Joseph Best but 2000 dust is like 0 legendaries how do you want to get wins, hunter is your only option
Skaptor gotta start somewhere
Midrange hunter which costs nothing and is a top deck
Do Elemental Shaman Trump
Mage's don't have Atiesh, everyone does. Silly Trump
As much as I like trump teachings I never have the cards in his deck list :(
I tried your deck and got the exact same results against the Jade druid. I really like the deck but how do you play to finish off the opponent?
go face
Tim LaGrange
Yeah its either you kill him or die late game.
Please do Evolve/Doppleganger shaman
What would you say is the best deck i could make at the moment???
GoffNewt it's debatable all decks are close, burn mage is a good deck though, maybe aggro druid or control pally.
GoffNewt silence priest lyra combo kinda beats everything if you draw your stuff fast enough
Light lord replacement?
None. Core card; without it, your late game is gimped, particularly against mages.
AllenDarianLopez Lay On Hands , Ivory Knight, Forbidden Healing
You can go the ones Grindelwaldos said, or just go a bit more aggresive (maybe take out Tirion aswell)
Healing is necessary in mage and aggro matchups which are both prevalent on ladder right now
You can replace with other healing but there is a reason Rag is being run and those aren't, Rag is an 8/8 on turn 8 that heals for 8 EVERY TURN so if your opponent plans to burn you out they effectively have to go through an additional 16 hp the turn you play Rag (assuming he heals face) or lose the game to repeated healing.
Other cards bring value in other ways but none are anywhere close to Rag so if you do choose to replace just accept that you will have a low winrate vs these decks and if you are really trying to ladder quick just concede
I have a choice to make - 1600 dust and need two legendaries. Tirion or Ragnaros?
Definitely Tirion, it is an absolute beast now that Sylvanas is out of standard and Shaman is not dominant.
Thanks for answering. My only reason for considering ragnaros over it is that I can get tirion from stonehill defender? thoughts?
That is a factor I suppose given that Tirion has diminishing marginal returns as there are only so many whacks you can take with weapons, but still I can definitely say from my experience playing Control Paladin to high legend this month that Tirion is the superior card.
Thanks a lot buddy. Enjoy your day :)
Awesome video, Trump! Thank you from us noobs.
So lucky. I play the crap out of this deck and always get horrible starting hands, even after mulliganing away the high costs.
Deja Vu!
pommespanzer = french fries tank
is ragnaros a must?
idk you can replace him with forbidden healing or lay on hands
5:27 listen closely...
What can i replace curator for ?
the caverns below
Can I replace rag with something else?
forbidden healing or lay on hands
Krzysztof Dabrowski Lay on Hands is the most popular replacement. It heals you for 8 just like rag and draws three cards.
When i try play like this in rank 5.. i win 1/5 games typical.. most of time i gets 5 stars but after it i lose 5 times... and back 0. Can this deck run legend rank?
HarttZa
Idk, but I got to rank 19 with the deck you build from leveling up palidain so I would learn how to get better with that. This seems too technical for that low of a rank ranker. (Idk if I am right though, I have only been playing for a couple days)
SACER PLZ. SALUDOSS
Seems like the answer to most of these cancer decks Jade Druid, Quest Rogue, Freeze Mage is to go face, I miss the control meta
Damn those are some pretty expensive decks
Jacob Holleman it's almost as if Blizzard intentionally designed their game to support opening as many packs as possible to have a good deck
AngerIssuez wrong man the cheapest decks are pirate warrior, hunter, freezemage etc which are still the most played decks imo
oooompaaa
I dont have Finja because not dust but... ¿is really necesary in this deck? I dont think so. Trump wins all the games with out him.
Lucid Truth He doesnt win any game with tyrion either but its still a must. Still, Finja, rag and wickerflame are considered the non core legendaries, they can be replaced, if necessary. Usually by adding a second primordial for rag or another kodo for finja
Trump does mention early Finja is not essential :)
wuuuuuuuuuh!
Glad I'm not the only one that thinks it looks like a beaver.
And the mountain of bones looks like his little dam! :D
So what did we learn today class? Jade druid is still fucking bullshit!
Ishkur yeah not like murloc paladin is bullshit at all.
Needs more murlocs to be called a murloc deck
Matheus Henrique Morais I think that third of the deck in murlocs is a lot and with the "midrange" the name is 100% adequate.
T H E M A D M A N
Etnicznik the Magnificent keep tryin' nigga
jade cancer e_e
Should i kill myself, if i hit Legend for the first time with Pirate Warrior?
Rengar Der V Pirate Warrior isn't really cancer anymore, most people play other decks. So I'd say you're safe.
KambEight are you sure about that still only play pirate warrior with perfect starts
Im f2p and I use this deck, calm down noobs
Wow im early.
trump you show us 3 games with the perfect starting hand, what should we learn in this video ? to Showball the opponent?. Lame video. STarting hand with rag steed and kodo would be interesting
T H E M A D M A N
