@@radry100 and drastically less performance. You miss the point. Low powered versions of these processors have been around for years. These new 6 and 8 core processors are really exciting because of the extra power.
Good little machine, got one myself. I modded it too by making a hole in the side panel to get better temperatures and removed the proprietary fan with a filter. Cost me the same to cut a hole in and such as it would have cost me to replace the proprietary fan with a used one on ebay. It's quieter too, well worth the buy.
When you do your FPS games tests could you add Pinball FX3 and VPX as there may be some people (me) interested in a small form form factor PC for their virtual pinball cabinets.
So I'm guessing this would be a great mini PC to put into a virtual pinball machine to try to get at least 4K 60fps pinball gameplay? Or is that asking for too much? Maybe use this to upgrade my arcade one up virtual pinball 🤔
Missed a CRITICAL point about this thing: the power supply connector. The M92P used a standard 5 mm barrel connector so aftermarket power supplies are readily available and affordable. After that they went to proprietary connectors on the power supplies. Stuck to buying from Lenovo. This uses the proprietary connector. I have a couple M92P's and am happy with them. On one I use a scavenged Toshiba power supply which works fine.
You mean the "4750GE" model which belongs to the "M75q Tiny Gen 2" Series, right? Because the "4750G" model belongs to the "M75s Small Gen 2" Series, which is not only 3 times bigger in size compared to the M75q, but also 3 times heavier in weight. And it doesn't have Wifi 6 or BT 5.1.

Mine is the one that comes with the Ryzen 5 3400GE and i love it! Both for work and gaming. Do you know if its possible to swap the cpu for the 4560G ?
Yea same because mine can’t do much gaming wise. I get about 20 FPS lowest possible settings in fh4. He got way better FPS and I really want that cpu now.
If they’re socketed and the motherboard supports the newer CPU, you could. The trouble is cost of the standalone CPU is basically the same as just buying this whole computer as far as I can tell, in addition to the motherboard not being updated to support next generation of CPUs.
Yeah, this sounds interesting. He would have to give up the M.2 drive for a sata drive as main storage, but even a cheap GPU like a 1650ti would likely make this thing run rings around most triple A games at reasonable settings. I love the “small form factor w/e-gpu” setups. A setup like that would be ideal for the casual gamer in a tiny-home or RV/boondocking environment.
Hi there, correct me if I am wrong, as I was searching on line for this pc, I believe the model for this is M75q Gen 2 4650ge, not 4650g, the one that has the G at the end are for those which are the M75s sff due to the fact that those consume more watts therefore the power supply needs to be bigger, I tried to find a small pc just like this one with the G at the end for more power, but there is none I could find!
I just bought this computer with the R7 4750GE. I wonder if the extra compute power is limited by the power restriction. I sure hope not. I'm also curious about the possible ramifications of using a higher wattage power supply (as Neil suggests below). @ETA PRIME have you thought about reaching out to these manufacturers to build the perfect Mini PC maybe through a Kickstarter or something of that nature?
Was able to get snag one off ebay for $400. Should work great as a desktop for the next few years prior to transitioning it over to a low-power server. Edit: Noticed a typo.. On Doom Eternal you showed the footage of 1600x900 (900p) but the text in the bottom left says 720p.
Really nice little box. Could you test Flight Simulator 2020 in future videos? If these minipcs can sustain locked 30fps in 1080p or 900p. (since you're already testing CP77 :] )
@@ETAPRIMEhey there Prime. I've looked but couldn't find anything with you modifying any of these mini/ tiny office PC's. I've seen you make newer low end budget builds using older SFF Office PC's. But I was wondering if you've done so with some of these mini/ tiny Office PC's as well ? The tiny Lenovo ThinkCentre models m720q, m920q, m90q, p320, p330 & I believe also the m920x each all have an actual PCIe Express Slot (I believe x8). & there's x16 to x8 adapters/ connector cards made for this mod to add a single slot discrete GPU into the housing. Some people have done it and drilled or cut holes in the top over the CPU & GPU fans for better airflow. Some have even 3D printed a new top cover/ lid for this upgrade. It'd be nice if you could do a video on it showing newer games running on it. I've seen a couple people do it with A2000 single slot mods. & it'd also be cool to see someone do it with a RX 6400 using Chimera OS. Which that I haven't seen yet (you'd be the 1st). Also it seems everyone that's done the GPU upgrade are using the i5 8500t variants of those ThinkCentre models mentioned above.
How about a comparison between the Ryzen 3400G and Ryzen 4000G(E) series. Right now with PC games the 3400G still holds up even to the 4750G Pro! But I don't know about emulation performance differences.
That is really nice! Sure, you can build a Asrock A300 or some similar Mini PC for less (if you get the parts), but this tiny desktop PC seems to be quite powerful and for something out-of-the-box enough powerful for an average user. But now I'll have to watch a comparison between this and something with a Ryzen 2400G or 3400G since I have no idea, how fast these benchmarks numbers are. If you have the time, maybe you could blend in some numbers from you previous Mini PC builds for comparison in your next review of this kind. It would help to differentiate it from something like you J4115 build or one of these Asrock A300 just to get an idea, how much faster this tiny thing is.
Great video and even better channel! Do you recommend a pc builder? You give me and others ideas about buying pc builds, which I’m personally in the hunt for a small form factor RPCS3 powerhouse...🤔

Yeah, I also feel like these should have gotten cheaper by now. OEMs dragged their feet on AMD APUs and have really only made it to market now, in the middle of this PC market chaos.
There is a version with Ryzen 3 4350GE which is much cheaper.
@@radry100 and drastically less performance. You miss the point. Low powered versions of these processors have been around for years. These new 6 and 8 core processors are really exciting because of the extra power.
Just bought a M93p. Lenovo is the brand to upgrade for sure!
^^ This! Playfield needs to be running in 4K @ 60fps. Extreme test would use monitor #2 for backglass, and monitor #3 for DMD. ;)
I'm really impressed how good low settings look nowadays. It used to be that it looked like crap.
Can't wait to see emulation test
Great review! Your voice mildly resembles Mirage from Apex Legends haha
Got one ready to buy, just waiting on the emulation video now, before pulling the trigger.
Nice little set up if you're looking for a low profile rig that'll run iRacing. Mount it to the monitor and use a bluetooth 2 in 1 keyboard.
Looking forward to Linux & emulation tests video!! I really cannot resist to this one so just booked a 4750G version!
@@Sup_D Right, I haven't noticed that. I referred to the model with Ryan 7 Pro 4750GE.
This might be the small computer I would buy. Going to watch the emulation video next.
Dude I got an HP EliteDesk 705 G4 with Ryzen for gaming/emulation and it works great!
Great video 😀
Glad there are more USB porta on the newer models.
Get the lenovo VESA mount II or sandwich mount kit. You can then mount the pc 💻 either on the back of your monitor or in between your monitor and it's VESA mount stand/wall. Then use alt-p to power on. Your desk will be super clean with the hidden PC 💻.
I've been considering a small form factor pc for months but decided to get an m1 Mini for media and a Ryzen 5 6800X for gaming. Still waiting for the day we can get a Ryzen zen 3 chip into a small form factor box.
ETAPrime I truly enjoy your content! I have an old i7-2600 desktop with 16gb of ram with an Nvida GeForce 6500. it runs beautifully its mainly a media rig, internet and occasional Photoshop work. So my question is, with running a majority of the day and sleeping in standby overnight will the temps get to high an will it handle Photoshop with out getting to hot? The pc would be sitting in a well ventilated spot. Secondly, could you also recommends any alternatives as well. Thanks!
I want to see emulation test, specifically how it runs on PS3 & Wii U
Me too!
Great i dnt knw about some game accessories but its help my knowledge about gaming features gadgets
Great machine! I’ve always like Lenovo’s
Can you try and hook up a external gpu with that m.2? Love your vids btw❤
I have the M75-q1. Try using a 90W power adapter (or higher) - you might get a 10% increase in overall performance as was the case with the q1.
Hi there, correct me if I am wrong, as I was searching on line for this pc, I believe the model for this is M75q Gen 2 4650ge, not 4650g, the one that has the G at the end are for those which are the M75s sff due to the fact that those consume more watts therefore the power supply needs to be bigger, I tried to find a small pc just like this one with the G at the end for more power, but there is none I could find!
check @3:37
If it had Thunderbolt that I could use for eGPU support it would be a perfect all-around PC.
Just use a sata drive and use the m.2 slot with a pci-e adapter to make your own e-gpu. Kinda messy, but well worth the effort.
I was just Watching One Of Your yesterday Video
I just bought this computer with the R7 4750GE. I wonder if the extra compute power is limited by the power restriction. I sure hope not. I'm also curious about the possible ramifications of using a higher wattage power supply (as Neil suggests below). I probably won't get much feedback, though, since this video is a year and a half old.
Is there any reason to check video display on such a pc? It's like checking if it 'll emulate nes.
well? can it?
That's really good performance
Oof I recently bought a last gen 3400ge one. Yours is way better.
Great video! I really like your channel and I'm interested in mini PC's. I woulsd like to have yout thoughts when you compare this one with ASUS PN50. Why didn't you choose PN50 over M75?
I have the same question. Also, can faster ram be installed on the Lenovo?
You should try installing gameros. it is a steam os. Noting but steam. This could be a great little dedicated steam box.
My favorite part of the video 4:09 "This can be upgraded to Linux" :)
Nice! Don't forget it can support ecc ram too!
A comparison with regular 4650 and 4750g would be nice ✨
Hi… Really like your videos and would love to see DayZ running on this (and other similar - maybe lower-end) Ryzen mini-pcs. I’m on the lookout for one, to integrate into my work-desk, to have a little fun whenever I have some break.
Any chance of a step-by-step guide on how to tear down and reassemble the casing? I've been trying all day to get the bottom of the case back on but it just will not line up. Nothing appears to be causing a blockage, the pannel just doesn't sit right and I can't work out why.
Looks like a really nice machine all things considered
could you look up the Acer Veriton N4640G USFF Desktop its the same form factor of this machine it is a 6 gen based machine but it has a full size x16 slot on the slot i recent bought 1 i have a rx 550 yeston graphics card in it now and it works amazeing
Add another $150 for memory and storage puts it at over $700 on sale. Might still be a great deal but, it really depends on what your going to use it for. Big Box? Nice Emulation box?
Looks like a pretty nice setup with the 32" monitor.
Should update the title to GE and not G as they are different versions of the processor (there's no G processors in the Tiny config)
Really nice little box. Could you test Flight Simulator 2020 in future videos? If these minipcs can sustain locked 30fps in 1080p or 900p. (since you're already testing CP77 :] )
I had actually planned it but the download was so slow! Even this morning it’s not doing very well.
@@ETAPRIME Over 100gbs is a pain
Also it seems everyone that's done the GPU upgrade are using the i5 8500t variants of those ThinkCentre models mentioned above.
hey just wondering whats the newest ryzen apu u could put in this system
I really would like to know how this fares against Path of Exile.
Great video and even better channel!
Do you recommend a pc builder? You give me and others ideas about buying pc builds, which I’m personally in the hunt for a small form factor RPCS3 powerhouse...🤔
Wow you got an awesome deal for sure. Waiting for one to go on sale again, really thought 4th of July would have some good deals but no such luck. Have you ever thought about doing some videos on monitors? I don't have any experience with Benq monitors but I figured yours is probably a good bang for the buck given your pragmatism. What's the model# of that monitor if you don't mind me asking?
This is one is pretty good. Can you give us feedback as to analog audio quality? The DAC quality found in previous version M75q-1 is really bad!
If you think this is crazy you should give zotacs mini pcs a look. Granted they're far more expensive. But holy crap their specs vs their size.
That Ryu lookin nice 👀
