Dear Cleetus. MOAR OF THIS PLEASE! Your ups and downs and passion are what made us fall in love with your channel. We felt the lows and highs on your journey with Leroy. This stuff isn't boring. This is real life shit. Keep it coming and good luck in TX.

Awesome, just awesome from the whole team, everyone has their jobs and its like a orchestra, Props to Nate as he was on about water contaminating the tyre for a while before it was sorted. "You ask and i will give it" quality quote
This is what I love about cleetus! He could have edited all of them other passes out and just showed the 6 second pass but he showed us what it took to get there! You're the best UA-camr of all time in my opinion! You have one hell of a team behind you my friend. Stay humble and God bless
I saved watching this video since you put it out. Seen all the 6's since but this is the best six. It's the first. Proud of how far this rocket ship has come.
Man has a legacy many seek, living a gear heads dream with a hellova team. Congrats Cleet its well earned and deserved, mad props to Kevin/KSR for all the craftsmanship in that tank to be stable at 200mph.
Right? And my girl Ruby sounding *rough* on the original truck engine, then cleaning up as they went through the versions! Nice to be able to hear that difference and seeing the results.
It’s been 6 years I been following and watching every freaking video and Cletus once said “alright brother next step it’s for a 6sec pass I’m in tears 😭❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🇺🇸hell yeah
A few things to point out. 1st the amount of discipline to let off going back to back and knowing how excited and eager you are to go 6’s, says a lot about your character! 2nd the patience, composure and dedication! Congrats! I also love how when you flipped your visor down before the 7.0 and I imagined the race mode….engaged moment
I remember seeing the vid with ruby and leeroy side by side.. Not gonna lie, felt a bit emtional for some reason seeing it again just now. Highlights the amount of progress thats been made! Been a hell of a ride. Theyre aint another channel out there that I've watched so intently for so long.. Years now!! 😁😁 Keep doing what your doing, your the best!
I miss Leroy. He’s just a different kind of animal. Need to bring that beast back out. With all he has done for you and the channel, he deserves a 6 sec run!!!
He is working on him in the background I believe is what cleetus said a while back moving the trans to the front and all. Should be sick when he is finished
They decided not to because an H pattern box would be extremely expensive and his limit would literally be a 6.99 or thereabouts. Mullet is a full tube car, he's purpose built to go as fast as possible from the ground up, it gives them a platform to go further than a 6 if they chose to later (5s bracket), Leroy would cost almost the same to pull a 6 as Mullet would cost to pull a 6.5, but Mullet has headroom whereas Leroy doesn't. Leroy = more street car at heart, Mullet = pure racecar at heart, there's a huge difference. Edit: To clarify, for Leroy (not accurate but a representation), it takes Leroy 1800 hp to go a 7.6, it takes Mullet 1800 hp to go a 7.24, that may not seem like a huge difference but it is. It would roughly take Leroy 3,500 hp to go a 6.99, which will never happen, whereas it would take Mullet 3,500 hp to run a 6.0, a full second of difference. Where's the better place to put the money?
Watching this Mullet build over the years via this channel, and Kevin Smith's channel has given me so much more respect for how difficult it is to build and drive a legit 6 second car! Congrats to everybody involved in making Mullet happen!
When you've got a sub-10-second car, it takes a LOT of hard work to knock off another second, and it only gets harder the lower you go. I loved the intro, showing the cars getting faster and faster. Great work, guys. I LOVE watching your cars go down the track. Keep it up!
Congratulations to all the team,Nate, Kevin and everyone to make this happen. Get that thing patched up and sent to Texas and show them how it's done. This is going to be Mullets year of a lot of good Win lights I've got a strong feeling. Way to go Cleetus. Hell yeah brother.
Make bets Tom Bailey has a big smile on his face for you right now. A new car to join the six second class. Congrats Cleetus and best of luck at TX2K22. Hope the engine is good and it's only a rocker. Let'er rip tater chip.
I don't think you can count Garrett's as a six second street car yet because it wasn't streetable after the six second pass or six second capable after. When he does a six second pass, drives it to the next track and does another six second pass then he's got a six second street car
I could sense or see the genuine pure happiness in Cleets face on this one. He may say I've wanted to do this or dreamed of doing this but this, he really dreamed of making it into the 6 class! Congratulations, surely much deserved and to your guys/team as well. Seem like a good bunch.
When I was a little boy, in Sydney Australia, Neil Armstrong walked on the moon and Woodstock walked on the front page, and I started to take an interest in drag racing, and the world record for a (front engine) Top Fuel car was about 7.4 sec and a normal every-day pass was a 7.67 ~ 7.75 run. Today, we have a Cleetus in a street driven car, does week-long drive events, an old Camino (being an Aussie I know all about Utes, and maybe something about Mullets too ~) and it runs in the 6s. Dear gentle cheezus! That's a fast car! My last bike was a ZX14 - I know what a low 10 feels like on a bike. I'm trying to imagine what a 6 would feel like ... OMFG!!
Certainly the most educational and informational depiction of what it takes to go fast. WOW - you had me with the El Camino - I could not resist. Congratulations to you and your team!
Holy crap. What a pass! Nate is a tuning God! You guys deserve this soooo much. This car has fought you boys for so long. Kevin also deserves so much credit for building such an amazing car. Congrats to the whole team.
Been around since the exhaust whistle days. When I seen you run a 9 with Leroy I thought it couldn't get better. And to watch all the steps up until now. Absolutely insane. Congrats brother. You definitely deserve it. You've built a hell of a team. Keep up the badass work. Now let's head for a 5 in 2023!
The duck call whistle was my first Cleetus video! Been a hell of a ride. The drag racing content is my favorite and this one did not disappoint! Congratulations are in order 👍🏻
These are the types of videos that got me started with Cleetus, feel like you’re there with the crew trying to make the pass and get that slip time down. Congrats and keep them coming. Good stuff
I got a little emotional.... I've been watching since you were putting Turbo Whistles in your tail pipe and now you have a full blown race team! Love the content even though I know didly about cars I look forward to every new video. Bravo!
I literally cried during the intro because I realized that I had watched every single one of those passes, and cried tears of joy every single time. Not because of the car, or the time, but because of what it MEANT to you. I'm a drag racer, and a sled puller myself, so I know what it means to meet a goal after so many setbacks. I FEEL it when you meet your goals on camera, but I also feel the pain and disappointment when stuff goes wrong, like the pass that Leroy's gates stuck and grenaded the engine. I felt that in my soul. So keep up the good work brother, you have the world behind you pushing, not standing on your shoulders, remember that my friend!

This right here was proof, with the right mindset and team around you, it's always possible. We learn from trial and error. As well as a whole lot of money, but at the end of the day, this is what counts. The moments shared amongst the team for making a goal a success, and the future looking brighter. Congratulations to you cleet, jackstand, tune em all, Georgie, Sam, Kevin, and everyone in between! Keep showing the world you are coming for the top contenders spots as some youtube driver's as they like to call you, but these youtube driver's are giving big sleepless nights to those running against them at drag weeks, tx2k's, and all other events. Cleet, jackstand and Georgie are a great trio and all got their cars ironed out for this season. This will be epic! Let's frigging GOOOO!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😤✌🏼

Congrats, and here's to even better to c9me.
From supercharging a clapped out C5 bodiless Leroy, to running a 6.98 in a completely built Mullet a few years later.. You guys have grown huge over the years and I am truly happy to stand with you on this journey!! TX2K is gonna rock!
Congrats Garrett ! Lotta blood sweat and tears in that 6 seconds....You've built one hell of a team and it's paying off! Hope it's only a lifter and a quick fix, can't wait to see it run in Texas.

So glad I've been here since the beginning and I can't wait to make it to a few events this year! Keep grinding man. You have helped so many people in rough times it's not even funny. We all love ya brother! Raise hell an praise Dale!
more like from rc boats and planes to 200mph
Don’t forget the dude bought a freaking racetrack too and hosts events!! Haha
He even bought a RACETRACK and RESTORED IT. That's crazy
i can’t be the only one who kinda got a good nostalgia feeling seeing all those passes in the beginning and saying ‘i remember that one!’ man, time flys! Congratulations brother !!!
I like seeing Nate faced with a proper challenge.. pure focus and attention to detail on that man’s face. Respect this group for presenting the correct trial by fire scenario to the legendary Dr. TuneEmAll, SUCCESS!
Pumped a lot of y’all agree with this statement lol
Dear Cleetus. MOAR OF THIS PLEASE! Your ups and downs and passion are what made us fall in love with your channel. We felt the lows and highs on your journey with Leroy. This stuff isn't boring. This is real life shit. Keep it coming and good luck in TX.
this shit right here! couldnt have said it better myself.
It costs a ton of money im sure.... But agree my favorite vids are leroy
Shout out to Kevin for building this beast, and to the boys for modifying it to the point we are at! McFarland Racing is the real deal now boys.
the sounds of leeroy going down the track and banging through them gears will never get old. sounds so good
Should get a Steve Morris LSX and keep running Leroy in the big hp numbers!
I love all the stuff you do, but this... THIS is what I remember loving most about your channel.
The grind is what kept me coming back. Much more than the events.
Just trying to give you useful viewer feedback... That you probably won't even see lol.
Lol I bet you have.....
I hope he does see this cause I agree 100%
Ruby literally every pass looks like she is on train tracks. Dead straight and so fast. I love everything about this fleet 🔥
So consistent, so reliable.
the ksr touch, i think it was the first video kevin was in with cleetus, ruby was sliding all over the place. the rest is history i guess :)
my favorite car on this channel all day long
Ruby is like that plow horse that is secretly a thoroughbred. Just lives to run fast.
@@SirVic42 and Leroy is like that cantankerous old mule that wants to go everywhere 😂
From putting turbo whistles in his corvette exhaust to running a 6 second quarter mile!! What a journey! Congrats to you and the guys!
man, i did not realize ive been watching for 6 years, holy hell. love you guys, NEVER change! still kinda wanna see Leroy v. Kyle's MR2
& obvi BIG congrats on the 6! been a long time coming, feel like apart of the team even if im hundreds of miles away behind a computer screen
HELL YEAH BROTHER
The into made me realize just how long I've been following the journey. Crazy to think I've been watching from the very beginning and have seen literally every single video on the channel. Thanks for keeping me entertained all these years and congrats on your accomplishments.
Yup i was here when leroy had a body.. its been a heck of a ride
Ole Cleetus almost wasn't ready for that 2 chute life. Had a little pucker moment and gripped that wheel hard when #2 unfolded.😲 Congrats on that six!
I wondered what happened there, now it makes sense lol
Didn't think about that first time I watched but upon 2nd watch i realized the force of the 2nd chute pulled like hell on ol mullet
So pumped to watch this. Just got out of surgery 8 hours ago, home 2 hours ago, ambulance emergency 1 hour ago (doing really good here)….. now Cleetus is my natural pain killer
Wow man.
Glad you made it.
Cletus fans are the best!
Get better soon! 🤙🏻
Get well soon Brother ....
Hanging in there! Got a ride in the ambulance today… back home again…. Ready for the next video!!
Awesome, just awesome from the whole team, everyone has their jobs and its like a orchestra,
Props to Nate as he was on about water contaminating the tyre for a while before it was sorted.
"You ask and i will give it" quality quote
Leroy was just so much fun to watch... the sheer RAWNESS of that beast
Leroy will always be the best just because it's cool and different from the rest
I totally agree!
This is what I love about cleetus! He could have edited all of them other passes out and just showed the 6 second pass but he showed us what it took to get there! You're the best UA-camr of all time in my opinion! You have one hell of a team behind you my friend. Stay humble and God bless
AGREED!!!
I wish I had Kevin’s car knowledge. That dude is what every car guy strives to be.
STOP wishing..... and go learn it!!
@Adam Chapman has got, think TS stepped away from it but not sure
You can hear the progress you've made in the motor scream. From 8 second Leroy to 6 second Mullet. The difference is crazy.
Right? And my girl Ruby sounding *rough* on the original truck engine, then cleaning up as they went through the versions! Nice to be able to hear that difference and seeing the results.
Its like 800ish hp with leroy running that 8.90 to over 1600 with Mullet runnin that 6.92, insane
@@datrumakboy1020 Mullet is around 3400-lbs, so it actually has to be making around 2000-2200hp @ the crankshaft, to get into the 6.90's.
Imagine how pumped George would be. You can definitely tell when he’s not at home
He has been missing from a few videos and has not been behind the camera. Hope everything is OK.
The videos have been tolerable lately without George saying dumb shit constantly like “two birds in the hat are worth twelve in the tree!” 🤦🏼♀️
Where is George
@@John-hw3ds All his cars are blown up or destroyed. Think Cleeter foreshadowed getting him a new ride.
It’s been 6 years I been following and watching every freaking video and Cletus once said “alright brother next step it’s for a 6sec pass I’m in tears 😭❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🇺🇸hell yeah
For everyone whose been watching since or close to the start, watching all these clips sure is crazy watching you grow and remembering them. Lol
Dude that 7 second pass still gives me chills every time I watch it. I remember first watching it and jumping out of my chair screaming let’s gooooo
It’s aerodynamically limited, probably can’t do a 6
I agree Leroy is a beast! I love hearing cleet run thru the gears in that thing.
@@simonkeller4767 with enough power even a brick can fly! 😅
That gentleman Sam, in the background, loving life! Quiet and calm, always smiling! So happy to see you guys killing it!
Watching this Mullet build over the years via this channel, and Kevin Smith's channel has given me so much more respect for how difficult it is to build and drive a legit 6 second car! Congrats to everybody involved in making Mullet happen!
IMHO the drag racing especially the hunt for a better time is the absolute best content on this channel. I'd watch it all day everyday.
When you've got a sub-10-second car, it takes a LOT of hard work to knock off another second, and it only gets harder the lower you go. I loved the intro, showing the cars getting faster and faster. Great work, guys. I LOVE watching your cars go down the track. Keep it up!
It's crazy that ruby ran 7.7 @ 177 mph and to get in the 6's mullet has to go 25mph faster - to loose less than a second. WOW.
I thought his was a five second car
@@johncuervo3019 yeah Tom has a 5.98 PB but there are only a handful of 6 sec drag and drive cars out there. Like 10 or 12 total.
@@kevingib100 cant wait until he also does it on a drag and drive event. Will be super cool too!
I don't think you can count Garrett's as a six second street car yet because it wasn't streetable after the six second pass or six second capable after.
When he does a six second pass, drives it to the next track and does another six second pass then he's got a six second street car
It drives LEGALLY on the street with plates, is registered and runs fine on pump gas. ITS A 6 SECOND STREET CAR. FFS
I could sense or see the genuine pure happiness in Cleets face on this one. He may say I've wanted to do this or dreamed of doing this but this, he really dreamed of making it into the 6 class!
Congratulations, surely much deserved and to your guys/team as well. Seem like a good bunch.
After watching Kevin and his team build the car and all the work Cleetus and his guys have done, make this fan very happy! Congratulations to all!
Only smart ones on this mullet project were kevin and james. Tunemall sucks he is no jeremy
@@jodyallenbaugh9427 lol Jeremy himself said tunemall was a way better tuner
@@jodyallenbaugh9427 Ty and Zach are pretty good but tunem all isn’t the greatest by all means
@@jodyallenbaugh9427 Jeremy 😂😂 do some research see how many issues people have had issue with his work. Easy way to find out, go watch the C7 videos.
3+ years since Leroy ran his 7... feels like yesterday and im watching from the sideline... good job cleeter crew! Yall deserve the best!
OMFG!!
It's crazy to think about, ain't it?
Certainly the most educational and informational depiction of what it takes to go fast. WOW - you had me with the El Camino - I could not resist. Congratulations to you and your team!
Holy crap. What a pass! Nate is a tuning God! You guys deserve this soooo much. This car has fought you boys for so long. Kevin also deserves so much credit for building such an amazing car. Congrats to the whole team.
My car does 0-60 in 7 seconds.
This thing does 0-200 in 6.98 seconds. That is absolutely fucking insane.
*spoiler*
Heavy car too mullet is a thicc boy
Been around since the exhaust whistle days. When I seen you run a 9 with Leroy I thought it couldn't get better. And to watch all the steps up until now. Absolutely insane. Congrats brother. You definitely deserve it. You've built a hell of a team. Keep up the badass work. Now let's head for a 5 in 2023!
Then 4s with his top fuel team 😂
@@anthonypetkopoulos4352 It may just be a matter of time before he's dabbling with nitromethane powered engines!
He better start sweeping chips at Morse's shop because he is at the end of the rope with these 4 bolt blocks.
The duck call whistle was my first Cleetus video! Been a hell of a ride. The drag racing content is my favorite and this one did not disappoint! Congratulations are in order 👍🏻
Been patiently waiting for this 6 second pass, well done Cleetus and team. Fans from Cape Town, South Africa.
These are the types of videos that got me started with Cleetus, feel like you’re there with the crew trying to make the pass and get that slip time down. Congrats and keep them coming. Good stuff
About freaking time haha! Congrats Cleet, you've come such a long ass way since whistles on the C7
Man this journey has been an emotional roller-coaster for us all. So proud of your team and of course the man him self. Congratulations y'all
I got a little emotional....
This should be a top comment..😎

This right here was proof, with the right mindset and team around you, it's always possible. We learn from trial and error. As well as a whole lot of money, but at the end of the day, this is what counts. The moments shared amongst the team for making a goal a success, and the future looking brighter. Congratulations to you cleet, jackstand, tune em all, Georgie, Sam, Kevin, and everyone in between!
