The family and I went up a local canyon "truck trail" after breakfast one day and encountered about 6 toyota overloaders, err..overlanders blocking up the easy line with their photoshoot. I kindly passed them on the "hard" line in our 2wd Trooper (our daily driver).

Offroading is about capability of getting over obstacles. Jeep Wrangler. Overlanding is about reliability and parts availability to get to remote places or go long distances without breakdown. Toyota 70 series. Most people don't have the time, money or dedication to go on a real (months or years long) overlanding trip.
Overlanding is best paired with mountain biking. I want so bad to go over, landing to a campsite with mountain bike trails, seems like the most fun one could possibly have.
There’s nowhere to really do this in the UK, as there’s no off road route long enough to require an overnight or even lunch. we can’t even get spray cheese here. Still watched the whole thing, another hit.
