that would've gotten like at least 250k views! Evil genius over here... we love chris but theres a certain satisfaction in watching him sweat... cathartic really
Anyone else know this affable chap? Thanks everyone for joining us on another Wagyu adventure. Seriously that was cooked to perfection! What’s your go to Birthday dish? 🎂🎂
Indian food or homemade lasagna. Tteokbokki sometimes. I'm all over the place. I just love good food; what I have on my birthday (ooh, May 5th is coming up soon!) will depend how I'm feeling that day. For my 60th, I ate all things spicy. This year will probably be moussaka because a friend of mine who also has a birthday coming up, wants Greek food. I'd gladly have the same meal you and Chris enjoyed. 😋
Nick my friend, it's ALL about the super moist, rich, decadent, euphorically delicious DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE! 🤤 That's what Birthdays are all about... and the stuff Dreams are made of 🤩
Thank you Chris for doing this collab. I probably never would have found this channel without youtube recommending this episode to me. Now I'm binging all of JFJ
Yeah it’s a small world and I for look forward to seeing how PewDiePie is gonna bring attention to Japan based Vloggers! Of course I would love to eat some food with him.
As a massive martial arts fan, it's incredible to see how you've blossomed your k-1 career into food/travel education! This is the first video of yours I've seen but it won't be my last; subscribed! :D
I really hope more people find your channel because the quality and the passion is there and all your missing is the luck that makes your channel blow up which I hope happens soon :)
@@JunkFoodJapan I highly suggest doing more collabs like you did with Chris maybe ask him if the guys Trash Taste wanna be in an episode or two. Cuz the more channel your on the more people will know about you
And now, Chris has to treat you to a nice meal over on his channel, it's only fair! 😁 Lovely collab between the both of you, this was sinfully mouth-watering 😋
Boy oh boy, this was a fun episode to watch. Mouth-watering all the way. Kudos to your editors for all those whacky edits! Oh, also...not sure if it was intended or not, but at 0:11, I see that Chris has only exactly 2.62 subscribers. Not that I would be surprised by that...totally believable for someone like Chris! There has to be an upcoming Fried Chicken episode with Mr. Abroad in Japan! Keep it coming, Nick!
Nick, not only is the content of your videos always amazing, but the production and presentation is some of the best I’ve ever seen in any video media. Well done and keep up the amazing work!
It was today years old that I realized I used to watch you compete in K1 in the early 2000s. You were amazing in the Grand Prix. This place looks amazing. I will be saving this on my google wish list.
Thanks for the video...truly fun. To see Chris dreamy eyed over the steak was great but as many of us have likely pointed out you could have taken him to Lawson or Family Mart for chicken and he would have been thrilled. I will try the crisping on soba - another texture level and interest. The food looked fabulous and the wine as well, nice "legs" on it...you know how to spoil a friend. I just thought "junk food", didn't know you had two hip replacements or that you compete ... very cool. Weird to think a toddler and socks on a hardwood floor could be considered a take-down. The last shot of you and Chris laughing at the end speaks loudly about your friendship, thanks for letting us tag along for the meal. 😊 🇨🇦
Thank you and welcome to the channel. Sodden floors and socks are potentially dangerous! LOL I don’t compete anymore, and thank God those days are over. Now I just enjoy working out and of course you know it. Junk Food Japan
Please think about doing a gym series! You guys are just the perfect duo for a story like that and have great chemistry in front of the camera. If youtube videos are too much work, maybe a diary-like story on insta or tiktok or whatever would work, too.
Wow! 2 replaced hips? Chris said it, You Are the Terminator! My Respect for you Nick just shot up exponentially. And you're a great encourager/hope giver. I feel there's a great testimonial story here that probably warrants its own video sometime, if you ever feel like sharing and inspiring millions with your tale of injury, recovery, and stronger comeback 🤩👍
With new channels as well produced and shot like this popping up over the years, it really feels like Japan is more open and closer to foreigners than ever before! I love the humour and enthusiasm you bring to each and every location and how you highlight the wonderful food and amazing staff in every video! Keep up the great work dude!!
I swear each video is another location on my list to go eat hahaha. The quality of the videos are absolutely amazing and the charisma you bring to the camera just reels us viewers in! Can’t wait for the next! I want to add upon Chris wanting to get fit. What if you made a separate series on your workout routine OR “Getting Chris in Shape” would make a funny yet good series for him to get fit and inspire others to workout frequently
@@JunkFoodJapan ah you’re an absolute legend!!! Also I would like to ask since you own a gym that means anyone could come in, sign up and work out yes? Do you by chance have a website or something for it? I’d like to actually use your facility when I’m in the country. And so I can burn off the calories from these videos hahaha
Thank you Nick! New subscriber and hit that bell! Great luck in your UA-cam adventures!!!! Thank You Chris for letting us know about this guy! Awesome! Great chemistry and energy with you 2. Looking forward to seeing you 2 together in the future!
Thanks for this amazing recommendation! A friend and I just visited the restaurant yesterday and, well... my taste buds just crave for more! Just as expected, the staff is top notch and watching the fresh ingredients sizzle on the hot plate is mouthwatering. The chef greeting us goodbye with a "see you tomorrow" is just as tempting and still under consideration ^^ For everyone who considers going, but still hesitates: Just do it! Give yourself a treat ;)
As crazed as I am, for the majority of this great video I was on baited breath to hear a Mighty Roaring Battlecry 'UMAI'!! ...so loud that Chris would be stunned, fall right off his chair, land with a slight concussion, birthday well done 🎂 👏 Just as I began to wonder if it would ever happen, suddenly your 'Itadakimasu!' did not disappoint. Thank You 😅
As you both mentioned "Training for Purpose" a PHENOMENAL idea for a video series is born 😃💡 Why not train Chris to 'get in shape'.. with the caveat being that he films his journey towards achieving the Dream of every Man.. to complete a Marathon or Triathlon! Not only will this be a Great testimony to Nick's masterful training and wisdom, but also be a tremendous Victory for The Brit as he transforms from Pillsbury Doughboy to Olympian Athlete 😁💪 Plus this will provide that "Purpose" which defines and fuels the training and commitment. £50 for a few chunks of beef is a one off special treat, no matter how good it looked. Every other course looked sensibly priced and absolutely devine. I need that chef in my kitchen.
