I think God intervened by disconnecting that plug........ 🙏 I don't think theirs any front brakes on the bike the way the lever went back to the bars 🤦🤦🤦. Good job as always 👍.
My wife recently got a Yamaha MT-07 what we didn't notice when buying the bike was the headlight kept turning off when turning the bars right! Turned out to be a cable had become split and was reconnecting when turning the bars back! I soldered in some more cable to allow for the turn and once again all working, love fixes like that

Maybe move lock to lock , check its not pulling the wiring ?

He must have been really brutal to pull that connector apart, it's got a locking tab.
