This actually looks pretty appealing to me.
Honestly my most hyped psvr2 game for a while. Hyped to play it.
After playing Saints and Sinners 1&2 and Star Wars: Tales, this looks just right for me now.

Cat scenes reminded me of the feeling of first seeing Shenmue.

Before watching: I've been waiting for this to come to PSVR2 since it was announced PRIOR to the headset launching! Looks like living / experiencing an anime! Hope it's good.
After watching: Boo, a Visual Novel that is interactive but mainly text boxes. I would have preferred a more 60 / 40 split with dialogue happening during interactive gameplay. However it looks really charming! A sale game for me :)

I honestly wished the game would keep the story, but also focus on like a career thing with the minigames and earning an income. A game like that is something I'd love to see in a VR game

I bought the game but the screen is completely black whenever I open it :/
Go to the PS5's Settings, go to Screen and Video, then turn off 120 Hz Output

Sorry you found out that way. What about it makes it really bad? Is it the reprojection? I can't stand games which use it aggressively. They make me physically ill and I'm not new to vr.

then tried again because I thought my VR might be broken 🧐
but stopped again after 20 minutes
the visuals are just so bad it literally ruins the entire game

This is a rare game that actually looks way better in the headset than on video.
I feel like that whole dating sim tangent is him having some weird hang-ups about anime, because there's literally zero dating vibe at all. Like, absolutely none lol
No hang ups about anime here, I love it. And I think a dating sim element could have added a ton of depth to this one - so maybe that's why I was hoping it was heading in that direction lol :D

Geared towards the younger and more casual gamer it seems. Does look charming but at twenty quid im kind of reluctant. One to buy during the sales perhaps.

Apparently there is an Astro Bot game coming this year but not for PSVR2. What a missed opportunity...

That hasn't been confirmed, actually. Just a leak/rumor at this point. Could very well still be a hybrid title, with an optional VR mode. Don't jump the gun just yet.

@@bxile730this is true. Vr has a way of making games that would suck on flat screen be fun. Once you get in the game and see the perspective of the world, it’s like a switch goes off. Not for every game though, but enough to know not to judge the game based off 2d stuff
Minigames would've been better. I really don't wanna read a visual novel in vr let alone I've seen better dialogue. Let alone 1:19 asks for whiplash if I have to turn to read what someone is saying.

Sidequests coming in a future update? Ok, so that tells me there's zero reason to buy the game now, and it's not a complete game yet. Why do devs keep doing this?
