Adam, I admit- you are one of the best fisherman I follow. No matter where you at, still manage to catch fish. Thanks for the info. You, Matt, and Nick are just too good.
Wow a few times there I thought for sure you were going to fall in! You really are the best youtuber out there as far as fishing. I should not be surprised when I watch your videos at your ability to catch and entertain us with your adventures. That spot you were at is probably covered in water now and not sure if you were able to park up above or not and I will definitely give it a try this fall. You never showed what you used for bait? I have fished for cats there and caught Kings instead. I was very surprised, but anchovies are a bait I use in the ocean for them should not be surprised that the landlocked also like them.
Glad you are safe after climbing rocks in loose wading boots! Sad to see the burn areas and the very low water at the end of the rainy season. Low altitude lakes may be so warm as to be un-fishable this summer. Bummer!! Get'em while you can!
Adam, I just got off the phone with Duane who built you a guitar!!! No way man, we were talking fishing and music and you came up. Pretty small world, I knew you were a cool dude. Now Duane, you rock bro! Love your vids keep it up 👍
Great vid! I was hoping you would have shown your bobber bait setup, maybe I missed it from jumping around in the vid, but I didn't see what you actually rigged on the snell knot rig for the bobber setup. The gitzit jig i'm familiar with. Thanx for a great vid and hope to find out what you had on the bobber setup.
That top rock where you're describing your setup is actually higher than the bridge and my buddy broke his back jumping off there. Gotta jump out big time when the lake is low! Go to the lower rocks down the trail. Stay safe up there dude!!!
I am at West coast area ( WA, OR) we have Coho, Kokanee and Chinook(King Salmon). Where are you at, Those salmon you hooked, they look like Chinook but smaller.
The tube jig you are using is basically a salmon sized bait . I use the 1/32 oz size for trout. Great adaptation , although I'm wondering if you realized that similarity?
summer time kids all over that rock jumping in the water. jumping off the big bridge is a right of passage. i have seen some horrendous belly flops from both. lots of ski boats partying there in the summer . no way you could fish that area. stop at turtle rock for great authentic Japanese home made egg rolls. hella good!
Another epic video Adam. Came home just in time, was out fishing with my son and grandson. I got skunked but that didn't matter spent some quality time with the boyz. From land, from kayak, whats next for Superman Adam lol Great job can't wait for the next adventure. Aloha from Kansas.
Fun video. Looks like you had a good time too. Fishing and filming from shore is a challenge. Hard not to end up with all feet from your body cam and to have the patience to move the ground cam as you fish. Anyway, really enjoyed that one. Now I'm jones-ing for some smoked salmon, lol!!!
Another great video. Thought you were going in a couple times. On your bobber setup do you still use the bobber stop to keep depth adjustable or do you use a fixed leader length?
I know a while ago you said catch and cooks never did good on your channel but maybe now that you've grown they would. I wanna see how you cook your meals
Damn, me and my buddy were standing in the same exact spot fishing for salmon like a week ago and skunk on salmon. Did catch me a fatty small mouth though to the left of where you were. Nice job and great video!!!
In Lake Superior we have both coho and chinook salmon. Of course they are all "landlocked". For eating I don't care for the kings at all, but the coho are delicious.
Did you mention ( As promised ) on your last video what bait you were trolling with at my Home Lake?? Thanks! Great Fish. California Fish and Game has done a Fabulous Job stocking that body of water the last 20 Years !!!
Impressive fishing skills. Memorized your halibut techniques (in SoCal so salmon is off the list) and anxious for my Bigwater to arrive to try them out. But you are scaring me on those rocks wearing those rubber boots. Think about some good waterproof hiking boots like Merrills or something similar. Be way more stable and much better traction. Totally suffering from salmon fishing envy in the meantime.
When I want to find a place I’ll Google which lakes hold King Salmon an Landlocked and I go on Google earth start looking up all the lakes take some time but you’ll find it plus there’s so many other leaks with landlocked salmon I know where this one’s at but I stay away from it because it’s so small
Yup, you are definitely addicted to the fishing habit!😂 I love it!!! Who took the drone footage? I don't see a link to that... Rip'n Lips from Amarillo Texas!!!
That drone shot while you were fighting that fish was so awesome!
yeah have to agree versus writing the same comment!
You can use a round crab net to pull up your fish from high altitudes so you don't have to get so close to water. Great video!
teach him bruh.
Adam, I admit- you are one of the best fisherman I follow. No matter where you at, still manage to catch fish. Thanks for the info. You, Matt, and Nick are just too good.
There's a hella good crew out there representing the Bay on YT. Kudos to you content creators, full-speed ambassadors for our region 🐱👓🐟🦑🐙🦞🦀
Good stuff Adam! My hands were sweating during the shots along the cliff 😬
Really cool post! You are the hardest of the hardcore fishermen. I love the way you explain your presentations. That drone footage is incredible.
Congrats on the limit! What were you using as bait on the bobber rig?
@diehardfishing what bait did you use on the bobber rig?
What kind of boots do you recommend when fishing in lakes? Are expensive ones really with it?
Damn! For someone who's scared of heights, 50-100 feet up on a clift gives me anxiety 😬 Good video though 👍
That’s cool of Matt from Fisherman’s life getting that sick drone shot for him
Much appreciated!
Dang that cliff shot made me a little queasy. Reminds me of cliff fishing the ocean for rockfish though.

Don’t you love it when you show someone a fishing spot and he comes back with friends and doesn’t tell you 🤦🏽♂️
That's why you never SHOW OR TELL?
Boo hoo bro ....quit crying and start fishing... all the spots are blown these days anyway..gotta fish better thats the conclusion I've come too
I have buddies that ended friendships over that. 😂 😆 😝
That’s so true!
I Thought the same thing when I saw his video it is a little shady
Nice video! May I ask what would happen if you lift the fish out of the water from that cliff? Is the line going to break (what line do you use)?
That looks like strong braided line. Are you sure you drag is set correctly? Seems loose from the video.
Awesome vid Adam! Great to see you collab with Matts! We need more Die Hard Life
I agree!
I hope a salmon smoking video is in the works! I'm also a BBQ addict so I have a couple of smokers.
Yes I agree!
What size reel are you using?
Glad you are safe after climbing rocks in loose wading boots! Sad to see the burn areas and the very low water at the end of the rainy season.

We're you using anchovies on your bait rig?
Great video! Thank you for sharing information! It's greatly appreciated and shows such good sportsmanship!
What bait are you using trolling for salmon and bobber fishing on shore? Are you using shad?
Did you ever find out what bait he was using ?????
do you use the tube jig on the bobber set up too??
Just curious what kind of bait are you using for the bobber setup?

When your Steelhead fishing? Fixed or adjustable leader?
Dude, you’re killin’ it out there
That top rock where you're describing your setup is actually higher than the bridge and my buddy broke his back jumping off there. Gotta jump out big time when the lake is low! Go to the lower rocks down the trail. Stay safe up there dude!!!

Can you use barbed hooks for land locked salmon?
What’s the name of this lake I’m trying to catch my first landlock
What pound leader were you using for the float rig as well as the jig rig? Mono or fluoro?
Hey Adam which lake is this?
That’s exactly what I was thinking when I watched the last video lol. Good to see it works
Awesome. Where you fishing at.
have you ever fished pyramid lake, nv from a kayak? some huge trout in there
The tube jig you are using is basically a salmon sized bait . I use the 1/32 oz size for trout. Great adaptation , although I'm wondering if you realized that similarity?
The amount of anxiety is brings me seeing you walk around trying to bring that salmon in!!!!
Good job man I would love to catch some king Salmon never done it before If you don't mind me asking what lake are you at
summer time kids all over that rock jumping in the water. jumping off the big bridge is a right of passage. i have seen some horrendous belly flops from both. lots of ski boats partying there in the summer . no way you could fish that area. stop at turtle rock for great authentic Japanese home made egg rolls. hella good!
Nice video!
What pound test line did you use for your leader on the cliff with the sliding bobber?
Wow nice catch dude! Where you got those fish at?
Where's this lake at Adam?
good job! how do they taste vs the ones in the ocean?
Try those pearl white tube jigs for ocean salmon. You won't believe how well they work.

Epic! I got the same reel. Can’t wait to use it on some kings.
how did these samons get there?
love watchin the entire bayarea crew slay the land lock chromers!
Where did you purchase the bobber your using at? I’d appreciate it if you can leave a link to where I can purchase it. Thank you in advance
Where is that at
Another great video. Thought you were going in a couple times. On your bobber setup do you still use the bobber stop to keep depth adjustable or do you use a fixed leader length?
Nice day fishing 🎣. That drone footage was really 👍
I know a while ago you said catch and cooks never did good on your channel but maybe now that you've grown they would. I wanna see how you cook your meals
That would be a trail of fears for most of us older guys. You made it look easy.
Great job that’s a cool spot I troll there in my boat all the time always mark tons of bait fish along those huge rocks 👍
What lake are you at ?
Was it on a bottom rig
Damn, me and my buddy were standing in the same exact spot fishing for salmon like a week ago and skunk on salmon. Did catch me a fatty small mouth though to the left of where you were. Nice job and great video!!!

Great minds think alike!
