Dollar Tree now has clear makeup storage items! The silver serving tray would look great as the lazy susans. Also, in HBC aisle, they have a cotton swab- cotton ball displayed filled and ready to use!!
Subscribed after seeing how many dollar tree videos you have. I'm super cheap and I freaking love dollar tree lol. And diy videos too, I love making my own stuff :)
after watching a couple vids like this one it was the most helpful showing them from dollar tree cause im on a bugdet and u showed how it can be displayed i like this video a lot its all storage ideas in one vid
I like your ideas alot. Even being an older lady, I love to get new ideas and you share many of them. I am definitely not much into make up anymore, but now I kind of think it can't hurt to doll yourself up a little bit. For ourselves of course. Your whole house must be full of cool ideas and I'm definitely subbing. Ps. I also enjoy watching and listening to a very beautiful woman talk who isn't all into herself. Your natural beauty is evident through your confident intelligent ideas and how you share them. Thank you
Yess I had to get that. This girl has some good hacks. I’m not even going to lie. A lot of them I’m doing right now but some I’m saving for when I move. Also ima spray pain the pans to match my room to have a customized lazy Suzan
The lazy Susan hack has been around forever! And I still have yet to do it! 😂 coz I know I’d paint mine and marbles aren’t as easy to find as you’d think. It use to be so common to play marbles but who does that anymore? It’s just a simple easy kids game but it’s old, so no one cares about it anymore.
I used two of the plastic containers, the large and skinnier one you showed, to put all my nail polishes in. I even managed to put a pkg of nail files in it too. In a 3rd one I put all my clips, pins and bands. All three fit perfectly in my top bathroom counter drawer, even with a bit of space in the front to spare. I didn't buy them at the dollar store but it still counts cause Target had them for sale as a 3 pk for a buck. Love your ideas. Can't wait to hit up a dollar store again...
My fave: The lazy Susan is sooo freaking creative! That I am going to have make a few... Everything is going to spin!!..i.e. condiments, daily hair care, perfume etc.. lolz.
Charisma Banks some DT's actually sell a lazy Susan which is cheaper if you can find it. The diy cake pan will run you $4 but their lazy Susan is just $1 😉
Amazing! Thank you for sharing your such great ideas! I'm moving here in a couple days into a house with my fiancé and I get to have my own beauty room. I'm very excited to decorate and shop! 😊🌸
I really like your video style. You get right down to business without a lot of unnecessary back story. One little question: do you use soap to clean your brushes? What type? I like the idea of the silicone tricot. What made it sudsy when you were cleaning the brushes?
When my son was born, I went into sephora with him in tow. I asked a sales associate which brush cleaner was best. She told me not to waste my money there and to just use Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo! (Figuring I was stocked up on it with my little guy.) I was so surprised she didnt get to up-sell me! I've also seen alot of people use dawn as well. :)
I use Zote soap it's great.. also my daughter had really bad acne nothing worked.. I was actually just being an a^^ laughing use site it works for everything else.. Well she tried it now her face is 90% clear
*I stole a few of my son's metal containers that his fidget spinners came in to use for mixing foundations in! Hard to find the perfect color and I love it bc it has a lid and it's perfect if I'm traveling too! I also used one of the fidget spinner containers to made a color switch changer (cleans off color from brush to reuse brush for different color while your applying makeup). Some of the spinner containers come with, kind of like a sponge type of protector inside, so I cleaned it up real good with Dawn dish detergent as well as the container and then I just added micellar water! You could also throw a sponge in, or. ...get one of those donuts you use in your hair for a bun! I've done this, but you have to cut it to fit and also, I placed a little sponge in to, to help hold the liquid!!! Also, it's silver metal, so cuter than using a tuperware container and, it was free lol!*
So the pot holder should be able to withhold a high heat right? What about using it for ur straightener or curling iron. Mine sometimes burns my dressers.. idk maybe..??
That's a good idea. I actually use a dish drying cloth mat that I got from Walmart. It doesn't burn, heat up, or cause damage to itself or my vanity top.
I use a candle tray/plate that is mirrored for my palette to mix foundations on. And you can get a really pretty margarita or wine glass for BeautyBlenders.
Hardware Containers are also great for Loose lash sets that don't have a home anymore that you may want to keep. That way each set is separate but all are in one box so you don't have to search for them.
Can always use those tiny covered dressing containers that you'd use for brown paper bagging it for lunch. You can always look them up on Amazon cause you can buy a case or just to get ideas for containers that'll work help organize everything on a vanity.
Let me just say, I have seen many- many- videos of women doing this same “dollar tree- Beauty- organization” video. But, a lot of your ideas are new for me. I have seen the tray and cake pans before, but the magazine holder for the pallets is new and the organizational hack I have been searching for! I also hate the makeup brush cleaning pad that I have. I have got to find one of those pot holders.
If you don't have the money to get the double sided sticky tape. You can put some hot glue one the bottom of your baskets so they don't slide around it works just as good.
I use the same kind of rod to hold my scarves and actually I have it behind my hanging jackets in my closet positioned just above them so they are visible and that way I just move my jackets to the side and retrieve my scarf and it doesn’t take up additional wall space.
I am having difficulty getting items I see on UA-cam in the stores. I love that white drawer container with rubber on the inside but my DT doesn't have them. I even tried the online store but now they as you to buy 24 at a time. So thanks for saying you went to several DT. Thanks for all you sharing and hacks, love it.
*I actually use one of those drain hair catcher covers when i clean my brushes....but I have one for only cleaning my brushes! It's perfect bc you put it right over your drain and mine has holes, but it also has extra textured little bumps so it's great! Look up "bathroom drain hair stopper" on Bed Bath and Beyond. It's only $4.99, but you can use it forever and it's perfect!! You can even just get the metal netted ones from the dollar store in a multi pack! That's what i used to use! Also, since it sticks right in the drain, it doesn't move!*
NextJeneration , Yes it is perfect and i can't believe I've never heard anyone else mention it! Also, if you want something to clean off your shadow brushes while your doing your makeup to swap colors, get one of those round netted donuts that you use to put a bun in your hair and clean it really good and dry, and get a makeup sponge and place it in the middle of the donut bc it'll help hold the liquid, then get a container for it to fit snug in, and just pour some micellar cleansing water inside! You could also use pretty much any kind of sponge, but I like the bun bc it'smore textured to help clean better!
I've used plenty of dollar tree items for organizations, but you have ideas I never ever imagined. Wow just wow!
I like the ideas with the stones in the square containers for brushes. Their square glass jars are very nice!
Also for the scarf organizer you can use the plunger stick from the Dollar Tree plunger along with the Command hooks
I like that you remain on topic!👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 no extra bs
Omg! The lazy Susan is such a great idea, I always see diys but they buy lazy Susans before hand and that's just so awesome!
Lots of awesome ideas in there. The lazy Susan is great and I like the idea for the nail polish just to name a couple of them I liked. Thanks!
Love that crazy Susan hack!!
Dollar Tree now has clear makeup storage items! The silver serving tray would look great as the lazy susans. Also, in HBC aisle, they have a cotton swab- cotton ball displayed filled and ready to use!!

I would have never thought of using ice cube trays to organise single shadows!!
The Lazy Susan was genius! lol love this video, great ideas that I will definitely be trying!!
I just love the dollar tree items. My apartment is full of dollar tree items. I really need more of the organizationers and over the door hooks.

Great ideas!!! I did find the cake pans for 74 cents at Walmart! And they are a little bigger so I ended exchanging the $1 tree pans.

I actually have a full video on how I clean my brushes
, but I use blue Dawn ☺️

Just found your channel and subscribed! I loved all your tips!!

You can use fun tack putty on the bottom of containers to keep them from moving around
The Lazy Susan is Life Changing🙌🏼🙌🏼😂😂
The display plates would be perfect for pretty little perfume bottles and/or atomizers.
Thank you ! Part 1000 needs to come Very useful tips

Love the beauty hack using a silicone pot holder as a makeup brush cleaner. Brilliant!
the plastic bowl at 5:59 is a light cover.. I have a white one in that shape but it's ceramic or glass that came with my ceiling fan
Great idea!!
I loved this! I’ve seen so many videos about this and this one was by far my favorite! Thank you for the ideas☺️
If you don't have the money to get the double sided sticky tape. You can put some hot glue one the bottom of your baskets so they don't slide around it works just as good.
