I grew up in Ewa Beach. 1978 - 1999. Even then we weren't allowed (as locals) to fish on the Diamond Head side of that fence. The military owns it and built a shooting range right in front of the beach. The limu there was known to be some of da best on the island and Ewa Beach Park is where i learned to surf.
