- In this video, I'll show you how to use selvage scraps to trim a label you make yourself, as well as how to attach pre-made labels in the corner or center of your backing, using a straight stitch or blind stitch.

Glad I found your video, I am incorporating a selvage into my label, great idea. 🎉
I am finishing my very first quilt for a baby shower. I found your channel and will be subbing. Thank you. I didn't realize there were messages on selvages. I threw all mine away. 😮💨
How exciting, your first quilt! Thanks so much for subscribing; I appreciate it! I'm always on the lookout for a cool selvage quote. :)
Thank-you for this video! 😊 It was very informative and helped me with some options for my quilt labels! I especially liked how you showed the detail of the hidden top stitch you did on that last label as this is how I usually do my labels and I struggle with making that stitch look nice/ invisible. Your instructions and close up video was extremely helpful! 👍🏻
That makes me so happy to hear, Lisa! Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback. :)
A great tip using selvages 💙💙💙
Thanks! :) There are so many fun selvages out there; I had to use them for something!
This is great information and examples. Thank uou
Thanks, Cynthia! I'm glad you found it helpful! :)
Just found your channel and subscribed! Great info, thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Welcome, Donna! I'm so glad you found me! Thanks for subscribing. ❤️
wonderful video, xo
Thank you so much!
Much simpler way stitch it in your backing before quilting. If your quilting stitches through it won't hurt anything.
Good tip! Especially if it's not going in a corner. :)
