Can't beat that 5.0 Coyote engine. Solid!
I have my 2023 XLT Sport "Leased" So I'm good; in two years I'll have a new lease and the latest truck again. I just might buy next time? I like the more chiseled look of the 2024. I do enjoy the 2.7 motor which I tow our RV with. Although the V8 is sweet had it in my Mustang 5.0. Yet I like a boost engine for towing.
Have a 21 f150 with v8, live in the Sandhills of Nebraska and get a steady 20 mpg staying on ethanol blends. Very tough conditions for pickups in this area, deep sand , hills , super ruff roads , very happy with its performance

That coyote engine is awesome! The turbo 6 just won’t have the longevity and turbo can have issues

The new grill looks terrible. I also don't like the new headlight assembly. So if you would mod it yourself. Would the grill need replaced for new headlights with the drl's?

Good question! This is the trim that doesn’t have it!
Tremor will have the new tailgate and select platinums .Ford made it seem like all of them will have the new tailgates.
Perhaps people don’t think the new tailgate is worth the extra $1000 for it
i like the back lights but the front end I'd terrible. no running day lights

I don't like how Ford got rid of the LED DRLs on the 2024 XLT... I"m shopping right now for a 2023 because it looks better.. not digging the 2024 front

@@MidwestF150 They don't want to budge on price, lowballing trades and treating dealer demos and service loaners with 1-4K miles on them like they are brand new and don't want to budge on those either.... One dealership wants to sell a loaner with almost 4K miles, 120 days on the market for 61K...

grill looks like the 80's Fords. 23 grills look like a Ram to me.
The 2024 does have LED signature lights just that model you are looking at doesn’t have it. That’s more of the base grill and headlight design. You need to see another one to really judge it.
Hey Tim - I was really comparing the newest generation XLT trim versus the previous generation. I know the Lariat has the daytime running lights. But it’s unfortunate they took it out of the XLT 😢
@@MidwestF150 I’m not so sure they did I’ll let you know soon my brother just had his XLT built so should be seeing it soon. Maybe the XLT ones come in an optional package or something. I’ll find out lol now I want to know
