Installed a 6 inch lift on my 2021 F150. How hard was it?

- I took on the installation of a 6" lift kit on my 2021 Ford F150, equipped with the PowerBoost hybrid powertrain. I started off with the @SuperliftSuspension kit paired with @KingOffRoadShocks, but I quickly encountered a major hurdle - the high voltage wires of the Powerboost system prevented me from fitting the Kings. Thankfully, @Realtruck came to the rescue and coordinated sending out spacers to accommodate the Bilstein 6112 shocks.
However, the challenges didn't end there. As I pushed through the installation process, disaster struck when I snapped off a bolt due to over-torquing. With determination, I had to pivot and order @FOXFACTORY 2.5 Performance Elite shocks to complete the installation successfully.

Solid video man! To control the squat you can always get a pair of RAS HD's. Those have been total game changers for my PB and the best part? I did not lose any articulation at all and the ride is somehow even smoother.

What’s amazing is your truck now sits about the same height as an F-250 Tremor.
I’m going to buy a new truck in 2025, that is, I’m going to order a truck toward the end of 2024. I’m really considering the F-150 powerboost. If not, I’m going to go with the f-350. The F-350 is overkill but the F-150 won’t legally pull my dump trailer.
Those wheels? I saw in a previous question the customer purchased himself but did you happen to notice if they were 12 wide of 10 wide and I’m assuming 20”
The real question is how much did this lift and wheel and tire setup affect your hybrid engine. Mpg, response, electric mode etc. I want to do the same thing but I hear a lot of people say that it affects the truck even with just a 3 inch lift. I want 35s and 24s on mine btw.

you ever experience any highway steering wheel shimmy after the 6" lift install? seems like a handful of guys have this problem.
I am also considering the option of lifting the car, but the fact that the car will behave differently and there is no return to the basic configuration stops me

As a mechanic i absolutely hate lifting kits. I dont do aftermarket at all. Lifting is not a repair. Its customizing.

Truck looks awesome. I’m ready to trade up my 19 FX4 eco boost I’m leaning towards a tremor but I drive about 40k per year how has the hybrid been since you got it sorted and is there a big difference in mileage from regular eco to hybrid?
I don’t think the hybrid is a fantastic MPG play, even before I started modding it, I didn’t think it made a big difference for me. That said, I also don’t drive with MPG in mind, I’m hard on the gas and also fast on the highway in a city where 65mph is the speed limit but 80mph is common flow of traffic. If I lived back in my hometown of Buffalo where speed limits were 55 mph and state troopers wrote speeding tickets for 65+ I would anticipate much better economy. I bought my hybrid for capabilities of idling with AC on electric here in Phoenix without running the motor and the generator as a family safety net incase of natural disaster.

I don’t have anything against foreign cars at all. I am actually a huge fan of the last gen Tundra, not a big fan of the new body style.
