Easiest 12v key on power source is the fuel heater connection on the filter housing. You only need an amp or so to operate the relays. I made a short cable, about 4 inch long with two 14 gauge wires and used Delphi metrapak 280 connectors, that is what Cummins and Mopar used, and tapped 12v off the hot wire of my adapter. That way I didn't cut any of the vehicle wires. I was reading the BD Howler turbo install instructions and that is where I got the idea from, as that is how BD gets power for their Howler electronics and actuator.
How much was the PAC brake? And that was awesome with the switch in the new shift knob. How did you get the old one off. I have a Eaton fuller shifter I wanted to put on.
I had to make an adapter for my Nissan to use an all metal Eaton Fuller shift knob when the stock one stripped out.. I just threaded a piece of SS, drilled and tapped the inside to the metric and ran a die on the outside to the SAE. Worked great and I could have made it longer too I suppose. Looking to do something like this on the new used Larimie I just got. I'd love to do it with a metal knob but I'd need an end mill to make room inside it I think. Also I need a momentary because the truck has the pushbutton on the dash for full and automatic exhaust brake modes.
Love the switch idea I was thinking how to mod one just like it but that switch inside the shift knob is a very good idea nice work!!

How much would you charge to weld an adapter and get the handle/ switch set up? I have a pacbrake already but would love the setup.
