Thank you for the detailed video. The screws are actually a european screw head called a posidriv. They are similar to Phillips head screws, but a phillip's head can sometimes strip out the screw. I guess that's why you had to use you had to use your finger nail to help remove the screws.
Honestly they are so frustrating these days I would rather fight a silver back gorilla than to mess with another one. that one was done for $2,500.00 and I still lost my temper many times.

@@CoverCatz I got depressed due covid and your reply but after sanding the valve cover and fixing it ill take my chances over a week with the top lol.
