How to Rent a Car in Japan: It's Easier than You Think

Did you need to have a valid mobile number in Japan? Or did you have a foreign mobile number and just add your country code before that number?

We get a SIM card when we visit that gives us a local number on our phone but I think you can use a hotel number if you don’t have a phone.
