    I wish curl cream would make my straight hair curly! Oh and for softness (esp. with gray hair). a spritz of filtered water and coconut oil, along with some essential lavender oil, is amazing. Worked wonders on gray hair and on frizz.

    Hi John, thank you for the tips. You tips is my bible 🙏😊 Do you think it would be ok to diffuse from root like you suggested but only to half way of the hair and then let it air dry if time allows? Just wondering how effective it could be in defining the curl and reducing the frizz without the heat at the end of the hair.

    • @JohnJohanhair
      @JohnJohanhair  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you for your question. Yes leave it dry after naturally is great. Just make sure you not squeeze or touching your hair much until is completely dry.
      You will get a bit of define curls and will look great. Not as perfect as if you dry it all the way though, but good enough! :)
      Try it and let me know how it goes. 🙏

    Okay so I need help, I jave quiet curly hair and a really round face and I really dont know how to work through it without damaging my hair and trying to keep it as natural as possible i also want to get a hair cut but I wasn't sure if i can manage curly short hair with a face thats round do you have any types? Also I really love your videos they are so informative❤

    • @JohnJohanhair
      @JohnJohanhair  3 роки тому +1

      thank you so much ! drying the hair the way I explain on the video will help your hair stay healthy and no damage it. , now about the cut if you have round face I would ideal have them a bit longer. short hair and short will give to much volume and difficult to maintain in everyday. no need to go super long. but let's say around the shoulders should be ok.
      does that help?

    would you ever recommend letting curls air dry? Or should I invest in a diffuser ?

    • @JohnJohanhair
      @JohnJohanhair  3 роки тому +3

      hey thank you for you question. yes !!! defently yes!!! is one of the best ways! but if you don't have enough time and you don't want to go out with wet hair , or you want to your curls to be a bit more define then yes Is worth to invest in a diffuser . the cost is really small less than 10 euros or british pounds and is really worth the. money. !
      does that help?:)

    Hi Jonah.. I'm a 38 year old woman with naturally curly hair..think Julia Roberts hair.. I have a long face so I have to keep it long but with my aging my curls are not the same anymore, any tips on how I can keep my curls longer instead of just getting stringy waves? I don't want to start straightening my hair yet x

    • @JohnJohanhair
      @JohnJohanhair  Місяць тому

      Hello , thank you for your question . Usually the curls loose the tensions either because there is not enough hydration , or because the hair is heavy .
      My advice would be to make sure your hair is healthy and when you styling your hair use some curl cream , will help to keep the curls all day on your hair
      Also make sure you have the right haircut for your curly hair.
      , with the right haircut you can still have long hair but same time the right shape for the curls to last old day.
      Unfortunately I don’t see your hair so I can’t recommend the best solution for you personally, but ideally you can have a consultation with a hairstylist you trust. And most of the time in the hairsalon the consultation is for free .
      Hope that helps?and let me know if you have any more question

    John, I cannot quite get what type of "gel" you are suggesting be used after washing/conditioning the hair and before blow drying. Thank you for your reply! Great tips. I have curly hair but as I age, it is thinning out. All possible help as that given in this video is appreciated.

    My hairs are curly frizzy and super dry
    Can you tell me the products which are available in Pakistan?

    • @JohnJohanhair
      @JohnJohanhair  4 роки тому +3

      shampoo and contition kerastage Discipline or kerastage oreo relax . and something a bit more well priced and cheaper is label m anti frizz. also another great option l'oreal professional liss unlimited and loreal curl contour.
      all this products are great for thick frizzy hair and curly. I believe you can find all the above in pakistan.
      unfortunately I dont know the prices in pakistan. but here in uk
      the most expensive is kerastage.
      label m a bit cheaper and loreal prof. is the cheapest.
      for styling
      labem m curl cream also bumble and bumble curl defining.
      for oils , you can choose between marrocan oil , mythic oil, oleo relax kerastage or ogx argan oil of marroco.
      curl cream and oil make.sure you use a very small amount, and add a bit more if you feel is not enough. I would say a size of a small coin should be more than enough. (depends the thickness and the length of your hair)
      hope does that help? let me know if you have any more question or you need any more help :)

    Dear John. I love tour tips and personality ❤️ but one of the really big problems for us curly haired women living in Greece is that we cannot find a hairdresser that knows how to cut and style curly hair. Which is a paradox as Greek people tend to be more curlier than other people. I've never went to a hairdresser that treated my curls with respect in the 42 years of my life. They try to bring the volume down, thin it with the thinning scissors till my hair looks like a bunch of rat tails, straighten it and always but always give me a haircut for straight hair which looks very nice when i leave the salon but...turns in to a disaster after the first shower. Hairdressers in Greece need to get a bit more interested on their profession and get some education on curly hair pleaseeeee!!!
