Great channel and video. I noted in an earlier video that the Philips lighting system you have in your entertainment room uses the Phillips hub. Do you have any other Philips lights outside of the entertainment room and if so are they also networked through the Philips hub or strait into your zigbee platform? I have a number of Philips lights already throughout my house and would appreciate your opinion on the value of keeping them on the Philips hub or resetting them to work through the zigbee system? Thanks in advance for your unkind consideration of the question.
Appreciate the feedback. Yes that is correct with the entertainment room and thats my only hue setup. My recommendation is to stick with the hue hub because - the hue scenes really bring out the hues / colors from the lights as a visual experience instead of using Z2M - where you will need to manually select / configure them which will be a pain to set them all.
Eddie, brilliant overview and explanations of the features of Zigbee networks. Appreciate the tips and recommendations. Greetings from Holland again.
@@hanvandewal917 appreciate the feedback. Cheers

@@eddiedsuza Thank you!
Can you figure out how to make some automation using the Ubiquiti Protect All-In-One Sensor. ex. Door opens sends a chime or beep to apple homepod?
I’d definitely ask chatGPT on that 😅
Do you only use Homebridge or do you also use Homeassistants to your automation?
I do use Homebridge for the Lg thin Q and a couple of other devices. HA for pure automations and solar energy
How bad will the interference from too many zigbee devices on the network's 2.4GHz signal?
As long as the network channel is set correctly where i show it in the video - you will NOT have any inteference.
