These drums and guitar riffs are one of most badass.

Hey man! Great reaction! Next I highly suggest Metallica-Seek And Destroy. Trust me on this one. I’m sure you’ll love it 🤘

So glad I was 15 when I first listened to AJFA. Harvester is my favourite song on the album. If you get a chance check the song played live in Moscow in 91 it’s totally badass

I think it's fantastic that you're actually reviewing a song on this album!.. so total credit to you👍I'm 52 and One would be the most reviewed songs..with obsolete reason, but to venture outside of that song on this album....totally impressive! Not only are you analysing a very political & social impact from a higher control, you are also asked to think about (If you wish) what is "your" answer?... The thing is wirh Metallica and Metal music in moral question...is that they are looking for a possible resolve from within you while portraying the facts of the song !... that was main mastery from Metallica in the "And Justice for all^ album..In my experience seeing Metallica grow a great fire within, got slowly doused out. I always wondered about their possible impact of a grreater statice of music made by their influence on further albums this way....but still produced a great song or 2..on further albums....but "AJFA" ....this hit the Everest!👍

Excellent! Love this song. This song is in my bands set list when we do Metalllica tribute shows. It’s one of Metallica’s slower and doomier sounding songs. Another favorite that similar to this is “The Thing That Should Not Be” from the Master Of Puppets album. That’s another worth checking out and if you haven’t done “Fight Fire With Fire” from the Ride The Lightning album you should also check that one out.
Did you know Metallica covers other bands music too? Some of my favorite songs they’ve done are covers. You should check out:
Blitzkrieg originally by the band called Blitzkrieg
Am I Evil, The Prince, Helpless all originally by Diamond Head.
Good job as always, Bro!! 🤘🏼🔥

I would also recommend the cover Breadfan. The original was written by a band called Budgie.

I know people don't like this interpretation, but i think it fits. I also know that Metallica has changed their stance on the "meaning" of other songs they have so, perhaps they did the same thing to this one; Especially since the other songs on the album fit right in the time frame of this topic.
This is a song about abortion. 😢 Language of the mad.
*Part 1* sang from the perspective of the girl: "I loved, turned to hate" and "i give, you take, THIS LIFE THAT I FORSAKE." Planned parenthood talking point "been cheated of my youth, you turned this lie to truth"
*Part 2* sang from the perspective of the doctor: "pure black, looking clear" is a medical term that the womb is empty and all the baby parts have been sucked out. "Try getting back what used to be" - no longer innocent with a clear conscience
*Part 3* sang from the perspective of the aborted child: "to see into my eyes you'll find where murder lies, infanticide"

That's a great album right there...and it has no bass guitar tracks recorded for it.

I just got a poster of the Harvester 12" record today in the mail. I'm making a framed triptych with all three Justice singles, One, Eye of the Beholder, and Harvester of Sorrow, all with Pushead artwork. I bought the Harvester CD single back in the day just to get Breadfan and The Prince, but never had the record.
