You know, I honestly thought we were at least 8-12 months away from this level of quality. Output are goated for this, beating everyone to the punch of using thier own sound libraries (Native Instruments gotta be SHOOK right now.)
The Producer in me loves everything about what this means for production and workflow, but the IT in me thinks we might need to get move much faster on AI legislation to protect us from anything that may happen once we use these tools to create, stream, etc. I guess this will become an Arcade feature? We are truly in the AI Wild Wild West.

To be able to steer the direction you want to head towards w/ this level of control from the top of the session is truly inspirational
@@littyinthelab im actually still dont believe how good it is! i would be not surprised if those sounds are not AI generated and just a bunch of samples from their huge catalogue
Don’t get lost in technology guys, all the biggest fake artist on top of each genre are using Ai to generate their streams. Streaming and streaming companies is done for.
@smartguy8219 I wouldn’t have thought so, based on the versatility i experienced in the packs generated a couple weeks ago, but now it’s generating different versions of loops that definitely are seeming cut from the same session so I find your thought to be highly possible

This is great! Form factor and good UX supporting music production is what will make more people get comfortable with AI.
Since the beginning I'm a big fan of Output who has the Everything Output Bundle and looking forward playing with this new feature! I know this only creates Sample Packs, but what would be nice if this type of AI prompting not only to generate sample packs but actually makes suggestions with the sound library of the Output plugins we already have. In this way we can get genre, mood type suggested song sound presets that would blend well together to inspire us to create something direct from our Output plugins. This could speed up the search through library sounds. I hope that this will be one of Outputs upcoming features for their existing plugins :-) Anyway, OUTPUT thank you so much for always bringing that awesomeness with your plugins!

Question: it uses AI to browse to a big library of samples and gives you the best? Or does it actually generate those samples?
From their site: "Co-Producer AI curates, combines and often re-synthesizes samples from our meticulously crafted royalty free library to generate entirely unique sample packs. The model only utilizes our library of sounds."
Finally, a usable application of AI generation for producers (instead of spitting out a low res baked stereo file). I ran a bunch of prompts and virtually none of the packs came out sounding terrible. Kudos Output team, I will be using this plenty xx

As a person thats more oriented towards drum oneshots, is this a valid tool for making drumkits?
Hi.Very interesting and thanks.But the problem is that the quality of the generated track is not very good. It would be great if could upload MIDI files along with the stems to insert quality instruments. I hope you will finalize this unique tool.
This has to be building sample packs out of already created samples, but also maybe generating new ones? I'm not sure, but I've definitely heard the same loop/sample in different generations
Pack Generator finds source material from Output’s complete sample library. At times it delivers the samples as is but at the tempo and key most appropriate. Depending on the prompt, it can also add a variety of macros and fx, turning it into something pretty different.

What was used to train the AI? Will there be disclosure of all source material? Or is this product trained from other producers' paid sample products and just repurposing them, etc?

Where are these sounds coming from? Are they loops and sounds from a database or made from AI? Are they royalty free? Can I make beats with these sounds that I can sell or get sync license placements with? I need more info!
Hi @JayPluss check out the FAQ on the site or hop into the discord. Sounds are from Output’s sample library - at times Pack Generator delivers the samples as-is but at the tempo and key most appropriate. Depending on the prompt, it can also add a variety of macros and fx.

It has a long way to go. Pretty much everything I asked for was so far off base, the BPM was incorrect not to mention the genre too.

Dear output…we need an “AI MIX assistant. “ Not an AI music and sound generator. Writing songs and designing sounds is the most important thing to a creative mind . Mixing and mastering in a daw with AI is the goal for song writers and sound designers. “Mixing and mastering “ tracks is the road block that prevents people from releasing broadcast ready music in all formats . THAT is what we need in all modern DAWS . Not a random jukebox generator. Production is were Ai is needed badly as it is only a tiny amount of worthy artists are ever heard because they can’t produce or don’t have the time or money to engineer a track for release or hire a professional producer to do it right( very expensive) which is ridiculous in this day and age.we need Ai to help put that production gloss on our finished tracks anything else is a waste of time our time. “AI mix assistant “ chant it every morning before you go to the next board meeting cause that’s is what we need not a jukebox full of crapp a machine created.👽✌️🤔
