David and our Jack LaLanne CL-003 AP Power Juicer

My huband making me a morning juice!
If you have this particular type of Jack LaLanne juicer, many people have had the same problem with the white PLASTIC piece located on top of the motor which spins the round grating disc CRACKING. We had 3 cracks in ours when we bought it used, but it still worked, but it was about to blow as one of the cracks was BAD!!
SO!!
We 'fixed' it, before it can explode. This piece is not available from ANYONE as a replacement piece....and Jack LaLanne will only offer you the whole motor base, with the stupid plastic piece on top. You can't even find this piece as someone's replacement piece on Ebay, etc...you have to buy the whole motor.
I made another UA-cam video on how we 'fixed' it to make it last longer, and I'll update it, should our 'fix' not work..

I'm so sorry I'm late in responding...
I was in the same position (no manual, etc..) but if you can spin the blade counter-clockwise, (be careful!) then you can lift it off, and that will be the hardest part...hope this helps! Happy juicing!

Hello I recently received this Juicer a gift from a friend who didn't need it anymore. I was wondering how you go about cleaning it and possibly taking apart to clean the inside of the Juicer. My Juicer didn't come with the manual so any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
