Well, actually, I can't offer next door, but there are houses in my neighborhood for sale, including one down the street and one just around the corner. Nice neighborhood, quiet & safe. Quite a few kids, great school district, the neighbors I know are good people.

@@yaz447 I agree completely. When you have someone who’s brainwashed by the current day “woke” culture and sitting behind a hiring desk, I’d sure hate to be white or Asian. I’d sure hate to be white and encounter a police Officer, seeing how they shoot way more armed and unarmed whites than any other color. Then the media for some reason will only show cases where it’s a minority involved. It’s almost like the media has a certain narrative to uphold. It’s almost like they want to cause division. Weird. Especially we need to be careful of the people in Congress. How sick is it that certain Congress men and women actually want to defund the police in areas where it’s needed most. It’s almost like they want those areas destroyed. Yet people in those neighborhoods keep voting for those same people. Strange. I’m with you though 100% my friend. ❤️

I’m a white woman, married to a white man. I was born in New Jersey and grew up in California, he’s from Cajun country. In the Deep South, I saw mutual segregation, but everyone was friendly to everyone else. What I DID see shocked the hell out of me, and still does. I had white people slam doors in my face. White people wouldn’t serve me at a high school snack bar at basketball games. I got dirty looks ALL THE TIME. Why? It’s a super tiny southern town and I was a “northerner” who stole an eligible bachelor. Who WAS nice to me??? Only the black people. They’d hold open doors for me, smile when passing, etc. More proof that an a$$hole is an a$$hole; a kind person is a kind person. You’ve got BOTH in ALL colors.

I lived in Camden County southern Georgia for 2 years in the 80's, I met some of the most genuine wonderful caring folks I had ever came across in my young life(19yrs), these kind people would of been considered white trash to those classifying Americans. Being born in America to both Mexican parents I had some of the worst ideas running through my head when I received orders to be stationed there. I believed that the color of my skin was going to be a big concern for me, but it turned out to be an overreaction on my part from what I had seen in movies, t.v., and heard of old stories of the Deep South. I honestly believe that the mutual respect we shared toward each other back then made our friendship effortless and enlightening, I truly appreciate and loved the experience learned and I have to give thanks to every single St. Mary's and Kingsland individual I personally met for keeping an open mind and having love for fellow citizens that might look and talk slightly different, God bless America🙏.

If I remember right the Police chief and the Mayor of the city were also black, but maybe that was a different protest that was started. BLM was recently protesting a shooting where a black woman and her children were actually in danger from the suspect that was shot and the protesters were giving the black woman a hard time. Statistically a black man is more likely to be shot by a black from a rival gang than by the police. They make the police their enemy in their protests then wonder why their neighborhoods are full of crime. Their heros are the rappers who rap about drugs and many are involved in the business then they wonder why their hoods are full of drugs.

I’m going to throw out an opinion. I believe that most of the bias and animosity that is interpreted as racism is not actually racism. It’s a cultural divide. The white and black communities were separated for a long time which led to a difference in values. This was also exacerbated by the end of segregation.
While I’m not arguing for segregation, it is true that black business owners and wealthier black men were forced into hiring only from their own communities which led to a normalization of middle class norms. However when segregation ended, all the higher income black individuals in black business owners left the black communities to fester, and this led to the cultural stagnation of the black community.
While it is true the black community has been through a lot in the past, I think it’s important that the black community comes to terms with the numerous cultural problems that exist within their community in order to more effectively improve their lives and the lives of their children.

And the farther you travel along the horizontal away from the origin of the angle made with respect to the horizontal the greater the distance or gap becomes between the horizontal and the angle made with respect to it. You seem to begin somewhere around the middle, or somewhere near the end farthest away from the origin of things. It’s sort of an abstraction. it’s sort of a putting the cart before the horse.
