Fields has to fight TWO curses:
      1. No QB from Ohio State ever did well in the NFL
      2. Chicago Bears never had a franchise QB since Sid Luckman
I believe he is the chosen one.

not a chance...the guy is terrible under pressure by the front 7. remember his team was full of 4-5 stars vs 3 star teams and this is what they got out of it.
Fields turned it over once every 32 passes.
Fields was on course for a 40 sack season going to a team that has a garbage Oline.
of the QBs that were drafted:
Fields had the 5th best qbr when blitzed
Fields had the 6th best qbr outside of the pocket
Fields had the 7th best qbr under pressure with the huge qbr of 22.6
on the plus side he averaged 45ypg rushing vs a terrible weak schedule and if he keeps running like he did in college he will be on the IR early and often.
this is not what you want from a qb coming from an every year top 5 recruiting class team with one of the "best" coaches. who cares how good you are when you are not under pressure...the only thing that matters is when you are under pressure and he folds there in comparison to all other drafted qbs.

The Chicago Bears have their franchise quarterback. Back in April former Bears QB Mark Sanchez appeared on the Pat McAfee Show, where he discussed the ridiculous rumors about Fields' football intelligence and how it affected his draft stock. In case you needed an indication it was absolutely bogus, according to Sanchez, Fields scored the highest ever
on an aptitude test administered y sports psychologist, Dr. Goldman. The test has been given to over 6,500 professional athletes, and Fields scored in the top 1%. The test focused on the reps needed to learn something and then the ability to recall that later. For comparison
sake, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen each scored a 108. I repeat Da Bears have their franchise quarterback.

I don`t believe Fields will be a great QB. He had the toughest time reading defences and couldn`t let go of the ball when needed to than any of the other prospects. Maybe the Bears can fix that but they are abysmal with QB`s, we`ll see. I believe the 9ers got the best QB in this draft. Trey has a very high IQ off and on the field and as Shananhan said this guy could run a coorperation right now. His couch had and offensive scheme that Trey absorbed in no time and the couch allowed Trey to read the defences and make the play calls where he excelled like no other. I don`t think any of the other QB`s were allowed to decide the plays. I think they got the best QB but it still has to be proven like the Bears except both teams have history`s with QB`s.

I saw Mitch Trubiski in college. That was the best of Trubisky. He is not an NFL talent. I don't know if the coach can coach but Trubiski is not an indicator. Trubiski doesn't throw well in warmups. When my kid looks bad throwing the ball, I can show him what he did wrong by showing him Trubiski. My kid is 9 and in the chess club. I was in the marching band. I know squat about football. I can see that Mitchell Trubiski can't throw a football. I can see his mechanical problems. His feet point one way and his head another. The ball is like a kid with bickering parents. It ignores both of them and flies off without direction. But at least he doesn't know where he's trying to throw the football. Trubiski is an OK runner and might make a decent tight end. He is absolutely not an NFL quarterback. The league should require he be moved so some player who can throw a ball towards the broad side of a barn could potentially give the fans something worth watching. If Justin Fields were to read one and run, the improvement would be a thousand percent. If he misses defenders and they have to jump in front of his receivers to make an interception, that's better than a lone defender away from the receiver retrieving ducks. Trubiski was Turrible. He's the one guy that makes Sam Darnold have self Esteem. I live in Carolina. There's no quarterback I am aware of that I want to see less than Trubiski or Darnold. I think Ben Danucci has potential. Danucci's throws have good velocity and they go towards his intended target. He just looked like a rookie who didn't know NFL speed or defenses yet. Danucci threw late and didn't know he they would catch him when he ran. What I saw looked coachable. Trubiski looks absolutely bereft or NFL talent. Really good highschool talent. Neither Trubiski or Darnold could make third string at Clemson this year after Lawrence is gone. Not only are they terrible, there's so much better in the pipeline there is no good reason they should be in the league. Project backups for a coach trying to prove something I guess. I'd much rather see Josh Rosen get another shot than Darnold or Trubiski. If I were a coach I'd hang my fortune on Rosen before Trubiski.
On a positive note, I hope washington plays Hieneike. And Carolina Plays PJ Walker. Fields would have to study hard to be bad as Truiski. Dalton may surprise though. He's competent. And Fields is a physical freak. Like he's fast enough to play DB and big enough to play linebacker and quick enough too. Anybody that can spy him will either be too slow or too small. I expect him to be fun to watch.

Racial prejudice is a factor here, unfortunately. I've never seen a Black QB start off shaky and not be pretty much bounced out of the league immediately, while many White QBs who went on to be HOF did start out very cold. So it appears as though, due to racial prejudice, history would dictate that if Fields doesn't start out strong he will immediately be considered a bust. Chicago, one of if not the most segregated city in America, definitely has it's share of racist and prejudiced people. I doubt they will show patience to a Black rookie QB. If Fields performs like Manning or Brees did at the beginning of their careers he will be out of the league quickly. I think Andy Reid understood this and sat Mahomes for a year. Nagy should take a page from that book.

Why he’ll fail: sacks & INTs. We don’t have time to wait & see. He stares down WR & doesn’t thrown them open; throws when they’re open. Doesn’t work in NFL. Def will have to be rebuild by the time he’s good. Tired of waiting to get a QB that “might work”...time to trade for a proven one!

he is going to be hot garbage...people are wowed by useless 40 times and dont actually look at the player and their stats that actually matter...first his team has almost the same 4-5 star players as Bama but his play does not reflect the dominance vs defences that it should. Fields needed to be good under pressure but of the drafted qbs he was one of the worst underpressure.
45 yards rushing per game does not make for a champion. Being good under pressure is and that is Fields weakest aspect.
