Ive been looking into the Longsword in the past couple of days because ive been watching some of your vids. (Ive only used the dual blades) The move called helm splitter looks awesome and really powerful. In world you seem to use it quite often. In rise, it looks like it is tied to wirebugs. And the wirebugs have a timer in which you have to wait for them to replenish. Also it takes two wirebugs to perform one helmsplitter attack. Does it still seem worth it to use the longsword? I really like the look of that move but am kind of dissuaded from trying to learn it because the coolest move is now on a wirebug timer. I know theres also something to do with the charge of your sword but not sure. Do you think that you would like to use spirit helmsplitter more often than your wirebugs are up in rise? Like how often do you wanna use spirit helmsplitter but end up not being able to because of your wirebugs being down? Sorry i know its unrelated to world. Nice kill as usual.
Hi Micheal! Thank you for your time writing this. I appreciate it 😁In MHRise you only need one wirebug to do the helmbreaker/helmsplitter move. There are alot of new wirebug moves they introduce in MHRiseSunbreak, its actually depends on the player/hunter what wirebug move they are comfortable to use while hunting. I still prefer using helmsplitter on doing hunts. Great job! Why were you clutch clawing on alatreon’s legs and then instantly jumping off?
Thanks! You know the animation when a monster gets staggered? When that happens, you can clutch claw the monster and that staggered animation will get extended. It's useful if you want to delay a monster's movement and deal a couple of hits first.

I don't think I can show all the skill info with the timer at the end. However, here's the list:
critical eye 7 (+40% Affinity)
agitator 7 (While active, grants Attack +28 and increases Affinity by 20%)
fire attack 6 (+20% Fire Attack and +100 Fire Attack)
attack boost 4 (Attack +12 Affinity +5%)
critical boost 3 (Increases damage dealt by critical hits to 40%)
weakness exploit 3 (Attacks that hit weak spots have 30% increased Affinity, with an extra 20% on wounded parts)
peak performance 3 (While active, grants attack +20)
quick sheat 3 (Greatly increases sheathing speed)
coalescene 3 (While active, grants Attack + 18, Element attack power +90, and Status buildup +15% )
blight resistance 2 (Reduces the duration of all elemental blights by 75%)
resuscitate 1 (While active, greatly improves evasion invulnerability time and reduces stamina depletion)
evade window 1 (Very slightly increases invulnerability window.)
this one is included on the armor piece. i can't really remove it as I'm not using any bowgun on this run.
free elem/ammo up 3 (Draws out 100% of hidden element and expands magazine size for most ammo)
