@strataxx Still Remains was the Devil Wears Prada's main inspiration. The whole metalcore with keys and synth thing was taken (inspired) from Still Remains. When TDWP was just getting started Still Remains was a pretty big band in the scene and TDWP kind of emulated them, though by now they have refined their sound enough that it doesn't sound terribly like SR anymore.
Are they still working on new music? I hope so. I think as people become frustrated with the sq, this kind of style will be in more demand. I never thought I would be a fan of any kind of metal, but I went mad with frustration and this was a great outlet for that. This kind of style, with the synths, will help pull in dance enthusiast that are just too fed up. I only see this genera growing from here. So I do hope they stick together.
@6youngfretshredder9 Forever Remains was a good band too. Back when I had found Still Remains, I had a couple bands I listened to with the word "Remains" in the name.
