This week features an action packed video on the north shore of Oahu. We arrived straight into a massive Banzai Pipeline swell that was terrifying to say the least. Definitely didn't score any set waves but saw plenty of the guys charging harder than ever. Enjoy this action packed video!

Love the boards! Love watching all the women on tour grow into these new challenges (Pipe, Tahiti, Sunset). it really has inspired me to be bolder when surfing the small-but-scary-to-me head high California waves. Good luck this season!

A dream quiver ! Those boards look very nice !
I like the color job.
I know it is foam color , but it imitates when glassers put color in the lamination coat and the razor cut line accentuated the shape.
Ahh no way! Maybe I’ll do this in my next batch of boards 🙌

❤ so great to see you charging hard over there :) the boards are AMAZING :) great great color selections, designs, and combination, and they look so striking while you are surfing, contrasting and very visible on the wave surfaces, while also showcasing your drawn lines and maneuvers against the similar colored stationary skyline. so epic :) also, the fact that they are the same colors on top and bottom is perfect, as is the fact that the entire board is solid color with color rails, and also really showcases the maneuvers and drawn lines by emphasizing those sharp beautifully shaped CI blades. These are some of my favorite boards of yours yet. great to see you wearing a helmet also. pipe looks heavy and hectic, especially those sets. you did great on the waves you caught, and looked excellent with your lines and stance :) sunset looked super fun and great size. have fun, be good, be safe, and stay present and focused. and, enjoy this time and all the great waves you are surfing :)

Just hearing about the shaping & fin placement; as an artist made me happy. I know how a brush stroke or line work can make or break a painting of mine. Hearing a shaper talk about a board on details & get excited over fun placement, that’s when you know an artist hit it.

❤ ps- i would very much like to have one of those boards, or more if they have been replaced in the quiver rack by the next seasons iteration :) it is so cool to hear and see you and britt discuss designs, and i know that your designs and taste in boards, is very suitable for me, given my current magical 6'2" rook 15, that is a total high performance blade that allows me to rip and shred, like tom curren meets tom carroll meets occy meets mick fanning meets carolyn marks meets lakey peterson meets steph steph meets lisa anderson meets bethany hamilton, meets carissa moore, laura enever meets a lot of other hero surfers, but a little less so, actually quite considerably less so (some might say a lot less), but knee board style :) (just kidding, im barely turning on waves, it seems, but the board is super responsive and i like it a lot, and of course is everything i want / need in a board, especially now that i am no longer trying to stand up anymore :)

Super nice! What are your volumes like for the different surf spots?
More length dependant. For pipe I’ve been on a 6’2 a lot and for sunset and 6’4 and even 6’6 which is a big step up from my 5’8 shortboard
@@Lakey_Peterson so do you increase volume as you increase length for more paddling maneuvering in open water, Sunset obviously requires different volumes and length vs Pipe, but I know things have changed vs the old days more or less right?

You know pipe is pumping when the top female surfers 🏄♀️ are afraid to drop in. Puts the wave more into perspective for us non pro's. Watching the videos of the North Shore Boys surfing pipe is an unrealistic look at what it's really like in the water. A crowded, intense, testosterone fueled, near death experience 🤙

Is it better to train on shitty days rather than good days, how often is Sunset perfect ? lumpy waves look hard for rail maneuvers unless they're drawn out. Send it either way 😂🏄🏼🏄🏼🏄🏼👏🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
