that rain would have been beneficial to your detecting You should keep all that lead shot. you could reload a cartridge with it and get yourself a feed of ducks. or a rabbit.

Are you using the iron discrimination,if so how accurate has it been

Thanks for the comment - we primarily use the Monoloop coils for their extreme sensitivity, so the Iron Check feature isn't available. In general, we don't use any iron discrimination when prospecting for nuggets - as we have found gold in ironstone which checks as ferrous. So it's a case of dig all targets (within reason!)
