How Cillian didn’t get an Oscar for this Movie just proves what BS the Oscars are. Weinstein manages to pay for / bully people into getting Paltrow an Oscar for Shakespeare in Love (Seriously ?? 🤮), but CM doesn’t get one for BonP? Right. They should re-release this for all the “youngsters” who learned of Cillian via Peaky Blinders. His performance in this role was so freaking good, so heart-wrenching, so nuanced…just a tour de force.
I can't stop thinking about this movie. I watched it for the first time a few days ago and it has lived rent free in my head ever since, I adore it.
