Why are these jokers paying Shillup to sell their cards when all they need to do is have stock and they'll sell all the cards in the world and be hailed as a hero?
@JIM BO nah it came as a surprise to me aswell but one my friends who plays the game and I made a joke about it told me that they updated the game a lot and it isn't as a buggy as it was
They heavily advertised it as a last gen console game. It's clearly not one bit optimized for last gen. They turned down detail and blured everyting giving it the cheapest patch job in history. As much as I love CDPR they deserve every backlash they get especially for trying to hide it before launch

@Ambrose Delgado ive never called a community of gamers virgin losers due to projection But this game has brought out some really fucked up people. It just seems really weird. Sorry if ive offended people.
Never experienced anything major apart from few T-poses in first month. Played since 2nd week of the release and only crashed once or twice (2 more times after 1.2). The bugs/performance are vastly over-exaggerated from what the game really is, even for base gen.
@@MA-fb6ww Yeaaaah not true depending on what system you used. For PC, yes the talk of bugs may seem over-exaggerated. However, having pre-ordered the game originally on PS4 and having played on the first night of release, it was that bad and was nothing more than fraud. Out of the six hours I 'played', possibly 3-4 hours were spent in game, while the other 2-3 hours were spent navigating game breaking bugs and restarting my play station repeatedly. To this day (having tried to play through the game several times, most recently within the last month), there are still numerous bugs and crashes on nearly every session. On Xbox it is slightly better, however there was still game breaking issues on last gen as well. I wouldn't justify an awful release like that without the full perspective, as from what you can tell from my lengthy response, I am still pissed I paid for that game for PS4.

@@Walamonga1313 See, here's something I don't understand; Cyberpunk (the genre, not the game) is a very niche source of sci-fi, so the game was never expected to become popular, or so massive to a wider audience. I didn't expect much more than just that, a Cyberpunk RPG in open world videogame form. For someone who has played a ton of games in the genre, this is fine and doesn't disappoint, even with the bugs. I don't consider it overrated, I consider it overexposed to people who aren't invested in the genre.
oh buddy, 3 keanus wouldn't cover the bugtesting needed for a game with this fact pattern. Just imagine the pants-wetting amount of work that would have gone into it since it was last delayed if this is the state it was released in. terrifying.
Just because the game has bugs, doesn't mean that QA didn't catch them. There's probably a *long* list of known bugs that they just haven't had the time to fix yet.
YongYea unlisted his Cyberpunk review and admitted how restricted the review process was. CDPR wouldn't allow reviewers to show their own gameplay footage and also told reviewers that the real game wouldn't be as buggy. CDPR used reviewers to lie to people and Skill up was one of them.
@MA well the bugs themselves are not the only problem my friend, the promised features, contents, and the disappointing stroy were also not delivered. Even the combat is lacking especially the melee, its so clunky. The driving is also bad. The first person perspective is not that bad but third couldve been the perfect fit for the game.
@@piratez9874 or maybe a developer that announces a game before the was PS4 even announced had the responsibility to make it work on that platform or pull out completely. @Shaman X Reading your comment hurt my brain, also, relax dude. The game is great but messy, and will absolutely drastically improve over time. I’m not even interested in this type of game but saying it’s a failure is laughably incorrect.
The floating cigarette wasn't a bug, you can't expect Keanu Reeves to manually handle it - he just leaves it there and takes a sip of nicotine whenever he wishes.
Normal Reviewers: Make review to make money. Some Reviewers: Make review to get their feedback heard. SkillUp: Makes reviews to flex his hardware specs.
This is honestly a completely bizarre review. I've seen you tear games apart for less, but you give this game so many handwaves and passes that it's like a different person wrote this review. I didn't really care for The Last of Us 2 and I agree with you that it didn't really innovate and that the story was pretty muddled. But Christ almighty at least it WORKED. This game failed on so many fronts that go well beyond bugs and glitches; features underdeveloped or outright missing, barebones RPG elements, and hardly the "branching story" we were hoping for. You were too close to this one. Too close with the devs, too close to the hype. Just too close to pass fair judgement. I cannot understand how you could give this game a recommendation after seeing your reviews of games with similarly disastrous launches. I mean even Fallout 76 and No Man's Sky didn't get pulled from the Playstation Store.
@Foaad Hisham The side missions are honestly "meh". The only great thing about them is that they work. Try playing the main story and it's glitch after glitch after crash after glitch.
Me too. I have plenty of games in my back catalogue I've yet to play, like Metro & Doom, even Mario Odyssey. Helps that I'm naturally not a hype beast too. I can wait.
@Deorc Horc Yeah the AI is garbage compared to recent titles for sure, he is definitely being hyperbolic. That being said I do think that morrowinds ai utilizes morrowinds mechanics better than cyberpunks ai utilizes it's own mechanics. But to actually compare the two is pretty dumb. Something more fair would be like, it's dumber than GTA V which is a similar game nearly a decade older.
@@matijota8728 except you dont know that for sure, by all we know the devs have been fulltiming it, and a separate marketing hype squad handles the social medial/trailer. People arent patient and thats what happens when people demand urgent release vs waiting.
Eh...dont know yet....games not even out and there will be tons of patches coming. I dont think it will be as bad as these reviewers experienced, but we wont know until tomorrow. I'll be playing on ps4, so fingers crossed

Coming back to this review, I still don't know if SkillUp and I played the same game. Even with the bugs, the inherent gameplay and game design were poorly delivered. The open world aspects are shallow, hell, even a game like GTA 3 that came out decades ago have a much better open world system than CP 2077, a game that was specially made for 'next gen'.
More like they expect you to do the side content instead of rushing down the campaign. Still, likely should have considered that people would do that more.
Skill up: For me, the bugs didn’t ruin the experience. Also Skill Up: So the only way to fix the bug was to restart the game ... (repeats several times)
Its the same for me. That's how good the game really is. It can have these earth shattering problems I've uninstalled other games for but I was enjoying it so much I could forgive a full on restart.
@@qp7975 The problem isn't liking a buggy game. The problem is claiming that a game doesn't have bugs that ruin the game experience, while also saying that the way to correct some of said bugs is to restart the game. That's contradictory. Did you even watch the review? The recommendation by Skill Up was clearly that you should not be playing this game in that state, and that you should wait for months or a year to pick it up when it was improved. That's what I did. I picked it up last week when the current gen version was released, and I'm having a blast, so I guess that recommendation was spot on.
The problem here is that Shillup is treating this game and CDPR Red with kid gloves. He is far more critical of other games like Red Dead Repemption 2, Biomitant, and AC Valhalla and Odyssey and how inconsistent this review is. He says the bugs aren’t game breaking yet admits he had to restart the game several times because of a game breaking bugs and glitches. Not to mention he never reviewed other games like Kingdom Come based on what he thought they would be like in 3-6 months. Add on that of that a video he made claiming this game was living up to the hype after getting to play their special little demo on pre paid flights and hotels and you have a perfect recipe for burning your image and reputation. Shillup ain’t a meme.
Honestly, I don't know how this game isn't perfect after nearly a fucking decade of development. At this point I think they've purposely downgraded every aspect of the game in order to sell the much anticipated Full Next-Gen Upgrade coming "some time next year..." I feel like _that_ will be the actual intended fully-finished product release date, and this release was just to quell the fanboy rage of multiple delays. Maybe we should look at it as a year-long Beta.
@@_koschwarz I've been trying to warn people about this for a while now... Performances were complete garbo, bugs and glitches out the wazoo, the game straight up not launching for a decent amount of people, graphical glitches everywhere... The list just goes on and on.

Sam: "Keanu is perfect!!!" Ralph: "Keanu was miscast" Lol I love hearing how these two come up with opposite perspectives, although they do agree quite often
From the dialog I've heard from Keanu he really was miscast. He's just too stiff. I like Keanu but they should of had a better actor play Johnny Silverhands.
I think it's down to if you like Keanu's wooden acting or not. He's perfect for emotionless badasses like Neo or John Wick, but some people obviously don't like how stiff he is at times.
@@BossManSays From what I've seen so far, Keanu Reeves' performance as Johnny Silverhand is very stiff and wooden. He just fails to convey Silverhand's anger and frustration at the state of the world. Kind off a letdown really. Not that Reeves was the best actor to begin with, he can be a bit hit or miss if you ask me. Sometimes he does a fantastic job, and in others he feels less emotive than a robot.
For everyone saying that Keanu is stiff for all intent and purposes he is Johnny in lore Keanu was never famous and got arrested for looking a lot like Johnny he isn't not miscast he IS Johnny
Have you been around on the internet on the last couple of month? The amount of drama the studio got because of the constant delays is ridiculous. 1, I accept the game has it's issues, I personally haven't find any major bugs, only some glitches (which every single open world game has, even if it's half of the size of Cyberpunk) and it runs perfectly for me (I'm not trying to run it on an almost decade old hardware though). 2, Cmon, please tell me just one studios/publishers, who are not hated by the community. @AntiangelRaphael pointing out the fact that there is a lack of trans characters in a world in which transitioning is as easy piss, is a bit transphobic. I mean it seems rather obvious that it would be a popular thing in that world considering how common gender dysphasia is in our world. I agree with the non-binary pronoun thing up to an extent, I think it’s just a reasonable oversight. Also pointing out problematic parts of a game is not a hit piece. I could say that your comment is a political hit piece of those articles, that’s why that is a stupid thing to say. You are committing an ad hominem labeling anything you don’t like as ‘SJW’ or a “political hit piece.” Also, most of the political complaints about the game was the unreasonable crunch times

If you haven’t given penis 3 a chance yet because of the negative stigma around it then please give it a shot, and if you did and you didn’t enjoy it then please give it another shot.
It's all right. In 5 years, when they reboot penis 1 (because of fucking course they will), people will look back at 3, and realize it's true quality. Until then though, you'll have to face the usual "Oh it's the worst thing ever" nonsense.

Bugs are one of those things that can't really be determined exactly. Some of my friends got a completely broken game on release, some others got a bit buggy but still playable game. Some experienced only few bugs. My only bug that broke the game was the final delamane mission. The final door just wouldn't open so I couldn't finish that mission ever until I restarted.

Why dont you bring up the statement you've made in the older cyberpunk beta testing video, that you actually enjoyed the driving physics. Whats changed now ?
@NCR Ranger Veteran eh ? Did you even read my comment ? My concern was him not mentioning whats changed his opinion on driving so much, it went from really liking it to calling it shit, and i know this because i watched the video. The time stamp you've given me contains criticism on why he dislikes the driving, doesnt mention anything back from the previous video. If you think big stuff like driving mechanics and shit changes and gets overhauled so much from a review copy, you are wrong. I've noted an inconsistency and genuinely wanted to know whats up. stop being a blind fan boy, I like skill up's videos too.
@NCR Ranger Veteran he’s talking about 4 months ago when shillup said the game was worth the hype and even praised the driving physics. There’s no way that demo they let 5 reviewers (shillup being one) play had different driving. He literally either played a different game or was told what to say. Either way this guy is inconsistent.
The many bugs have convinced me to wait a bit longer before playing. The game looks like I would love it though, but bugs would for sure dampen that love.
I'm probably going to play and finish the game right away once it releases, but then I won't play it for a year. This will hopefully give CDPR time to bug fix and balance and it will give me time to forget my playthough so it is just as enjoyable (or more) for my second playthrough.
The game comes out today, and review copies were sent out very late. It's nice that he had time to play it and make this massive review, but it's hard to blame reviewers for not being given enough time in a window where so many new releases are out.
@@amyyost7022 everyone could have waited a couple more days. Instead they wanted views so they released on Monday. No footage and "i haven't completed it yet." Was my issue
@@tydendurler9574 there were a ton of strict rules on what reviewers could show and discuss before today/tomorrow. Gamers Nexus also talks about crazy DRM on review copies and a day 1 update that makes it tough to talk about performance for what actual gamers will experience, and so they are "waiting" to release their review as well. You also can't show your own footage and only provided b-roll footage as of Monday. So yea, "waiting" is absolutely a relevant word here. Difference between a preview and a review basically.
@@tokamnich4709 That's not the reviewer's fault, though. They don't have control over when review copies are sent out. Especially with our culture of every game having pre-order bonuses, reviews after launch are significantly less useful. You can't wait past launch to cancel that pre-order, so I think it's only reasonable to forgive reviewers for putting out reviews before launch. It sucks that they weren't sent copies earlier, but that's through no fault of their own. Godfall, for example, launched six hours after the review embargo lifted, and plenty of folks were grateful for the rushed reviews that did what they could. There are obviously folks like you who'll insist that it doesn't matter, but it really does to a lot of others. SkillUp was just as negative as those early reviewers, and he covered hardly more of it, but he put it out I think over a week after launch. He does amazing work, but it serves a completely different purpose. For games that send out review copies within a reasonable window, it's hard to find peers for Ralph, but it's not like there's no use for rushed reviews when companies send out review copies ridiculously late. Companies shouldn't be rewarded for doing everything they can to not let their games see the light of day before it's too late
@@amyyost7022 it was their choice to release the video under restrictions. They could have waited until today. Many of the reviewers had over 40 hours on Monday. And could have waited another 2 days. They simply wanted clicks

I really question how the critics reviewed the game. Granted I played and finished the game on the base PS4 but even I if were to play the game mostly free of bugs and the performance is at a more acceptable, I can't imagine this game being the 10/10 (or even 9/10) genre defining experience the early critics hailed is as being. The bugs DID ruin my experience. Having to reload missions so many times because of progress halting bugs is bad.
I still can't 100% the game because a single side mission that I have left is bugged and won't start.

He says the bugs aren’t game breaking yet admits he had to restart the game several
times because of a game breaking bugs and glitches. Sam: "Keanu is perfect!!!"
Ralph: "Keanu was miscast"
Lol I love hearing how these two come up with opposite perspectives, although they do agree quite often
He could've done something like constantine and would be a better match, but I really think there are better people for the job.
This game should've been delayed another year.
Have you been around on the internet on the last couple of month? The amount of drama the studio got because of the constant delays is ridiculous. Now they are getting drama because of the state of the game. This is just another situation when the self-entitled and toxic gamer community put a studio into a position where there aren't any good choices to make.
@@Orshabaal CDPR spent the last 8 years hyping the game and they are the ones promised these release dates. Also they encouraged 8 million to preorder so it is not surprising that some of those people are unhappy because of delays.
@@Orshabaal they just lost a billion in stock value and got delisted by the Playstation Store. A delay would have been the only right decision, instead they tried to manipulate review scores and decieved their customers.
Activision/Blizzard, Bethesda, EA, Bioware, Ubisoft the list goes on and on. Even NaughtyDog and CDPR got their share of drama this year, eventhough they were adored by the community just a year ago. Maybe not every single studios are bad, maybe the problem is in the ppl. As I said I think they became self-entitled, selfish, too demanding and infantile. They act like Stevie in the kindergarten, whose bucket has been taken away in the sandbox. After all it's a fucking videogame, and they are getting their money back, so I don't know what's the problem.

I know that a there is a lot of hype around penis 2, and many people consider penis 1 an “underrated cult classic,” but I think that penis 3, while not quite as good, was a great follow up to the first two. There was really no way for a third to entirely hold up to the utter masterpiece of penis 2, especially with the much lower budget and the unexpected death of the head writer, I believe that penis 3 came out extraordinarily well. I know that you can’t always use low budget as an excuse, and even without that crutch, penis 3 absolutely holds up to the first two.

@NCR Ranger Veteran Because this is obvious shillup review made not on actual game version? But on specially made "review" build?
It would be nice if that point was acknowledged and made clear if they actually changed the driving mechanics to be shittier, which I highly doubt.
Money changed it
The many bugs have convinced me to wait a bit longer before playing. The game looks like I would love it though, but bugs would for sure dampen that love.
Same here. I love the company but these bugs would not fly in a pre online world.
Just wait and go through your backlog.
I'm probably going to play and finish the game right away once it releases, but then I won't play it for a year. This will hopefully give CDPR time to bug fix and balance and it will give me time to forget my playthough so it is just as enjoyable (or more) for my second playthrough.
You do realize this is before the day 1 patch
I own it but will wait to play it and dodge spoilers and such for the next 12 months!
Atleast someone was willing to wait until he could give a full review. Instead of a half review.

At best it would still be a good game that takes features from other games and does them competently but never excels in any of it.
