10:25 I think the reason in this case is the Vario transmission. It currently is rated for the power of the 1167. They might have to make the transmission beefier for more power. I hope they will do, otherwise this would be wasted potential.

Increasing power, while staying the same weight would also drop that efficiency down. So more power is just ... Super inefficient in every possible way
The reason for the hp cap is after treatment. I had a conversation with a paccar engineer from the tech center and he said the higher the horsepower, the harder it is to keep the after treatment from face plugging and over loading it. I asked him if they were going to increase the MX13 to a 15 liter to compete with the cummins ISX15 and his response was “HELL NO”! And then he explained. I’d bet Fendt and the other manufacturers are in the same rationale.
It no problem, Fendt uses the same 16,2 L MAN engine in their combine harvester, it puts out 790 hp there compared to the 670 hp the same engine produce in the MT 1167. Both MAN and Liebherr makes even larger Diesel engines that nearly produce 1000 hp and are used in the large combine’s and forage harvesters from Deere, Fendt, Claas, Krone.

Let's assume there will be a 800 hp tractor within five years that will pull that 100' drill and 1300 bu cart, farmers then ask for a 120' with 1500 bu cart which probably need a 900+ hp tractor, it's the never ending story in farming . Agco never had any luck in the 4wd articulated tractor market, just look at the Agcostar. Take the iconic Massey Ferguson 4wd, don't give it to Massey dealers, don't paint it red and call it a Massey, paint it silver, offer no 3 point hitch or even a pto option, didn't even have the strong Massey axles, I could go on but it's depressing
@@Zero01k I would love to see the challenger tractors painted Massey red. Let the Massey dealers sell those large tractors. I'm with you 100 percent. Massey is one of the largest tractor markets globally, it would make sense...
Is it me or at 2:53 I recognize that Bush and its been in a Lotta videos I've watched
It is a must to always have good rubbers.
Fend 1167 adios😭😭😘🇮🇹
Hey Mike, question, do you still have your old Case quad track? The quad track you took around the quad track?
I think they traded them for the Deeres
Your awesome mike thanks for the shoot out it was surprisingly different
Love the two video a day
Would love to see a tour of all the semis
That’s for kindergarten
The legend and zippy
I see they equipped it with a tow wire.
Caseih has those sight guages in the rollers
the steering wheel buttons **NEED** TObe *PROGRAMMABLE* !!!!! default to radio and bluetooth crap, but PROGRAMMABLE TO ANY BUTTON IN THE WHOLE CAB can be ''copied to Button2'' wutever....
Thanks Mike as always. Keep up the good work.
I hope that they continue the Fendt Trisix. That would be deadly
That one never made it past prototype status. Has been stopped ten or twelve years ago
I would be willing to bet Mike Mitchell’s farm. Most of the higher horsepower Case IH Quadtrac’s could out pull any other brand name. It’s the claim to fame from Steiger years to current…
They obviously can’t or he wouldn’t have got rid of them
@@realredditstories420 Mike compared the Quadtrac with the 9RX. Both have their own (dis)advantages and one advantage of the Case IH was pulling the Bourgault better than the Deere did.
Fendt...N1...Ciao da Italia 🇮🇹
Seems good
German engineering is far better than than than American engineering and Fendt is far better tractor than the John Deere or the Case really
🤔 Well I appreciate your opinion on the matter, though it can be engineered to the moon and back, but comes down to how it preforms to each individual farmer and what he/she asked of it.
but do they have the transmissions and differentials to handle 750 HP -- or even the gear train in the field working speeds to handle 750 hp without the computer de-rating the hp to maintain durability
Mike i have a question. You have empty(no crop land) behind the farm. Why didn't you stick a drill on the 1167 and see its pulling power on that land rather than the long winded trial with the daegleman
Didn't Agco made you a sweat deal to keep it 😉
I wouldn't want a "sweat" deal.
Your love/hate relationship with the 1050 just kills me... I'll still stand by the statement I made months ago, its a tractor designed for the European market, single fat $ss whatever size variable pressure those giant tires are they run on their 8' wide crappy country roads, not for your use case 21' wide triples, bla, bla, bla... they dont live where there is no one for a 100 km of your house... they don't farm "sections". Mike gets and "F" for use case scenario... Its a bad $ss tractor, still holds the record for highest HP Fixed Frame Tractor,,, has no purpose in SW Saskatchewan for your use case... Buy your wifey a Quad Trak already...
6:20 just press the trigger and move the joystick left, so the tractor turned in another direction while moving
Love love
Really should have taken 4640 or 4650 out. Woulda put them all to shame.... lol
Mike you don´t want all tractor like each other or do you? Just be happy that are still lot of brands and different style on the market, I am at least.
I wish you would of walked around that kenworth😂 Pretty sick rig.
*sad fendt noises*
Evening
Good evening.. Was almost late on this one 😂🤷🏻♂️
this cool channel is like farming simulator 19 in real life
Front grill has the appearance of a great white! That hitch is something else.
Everybody affected by the drought Continued prayers.
So when we gettin one Mike?
Purchased!
Good input about the 4-trac things i would love to see a 4 trac with that fendt green😍😍
How about big Bud tractor
They haven't built a new one in 30 years.
@@lynwessel2471
Yes, there's a brand new one, a 525/50 and it showed up at the Welkers farm, check their latest video [ Our Crops Are Destroyed...], scroll to 18:45 ......... 😂😉
@@ytfan3815 Yeah, that'll pull an 84 ft drill. Maybe 8.4 ft
@@lynwessel2471
Agree or not, it's awesome, he made a beautiful Baby Bud, ... just like Don Campbell's John Deere 9630 - 1/2 scale. 😃 👍
I think that sucker is up at ag in motion right now!
At 1:55 its trippy to see the track not moving but the grass slinging by and Mike talking to mile a minute. 😁
thanks for the video series just got off the field decided what am I going to do opened your channel and seen that You released a couple more videos than usual awesome stay safe
probably a dollar a horsepower to buy
Hey mike I like the running lights to
Go Claas for the best light.
Thanks Mike for all you do love the vid's even though they are late in the season.
How is your rain situation, I am from Balgonie and ours has been slim at best
Will you get a chance to run one on a drill next year for a real test?
Would be good to see site glass for engine oil on tractors.
Wish they had put the 1050 style front windshield wiper on it
Great Mike Mitchell Tractor Shoot out, thanks for sharing
Are you considering acquiering one in a near future?
Ending the Summary with a wish for a MANN powered quad makes me think that there isn't going to be a Fendt 2 track any time soon.
@@delbutler885 It`s MAN! MANN is a parts company (filters and other components).
@Wayne Creek Land and Cattle Co. Absolutely not! The 1050's engine/cvt match is a greater disapointment. I have seen it decreasing speed and almost stall ...
Let's wait to judge better the 1167 , when pulling heavy draft loads.
@Wayne Creek Land and Cattle Co. Let`s wait till the real hard work results...
You don’t need a tractor you need a tampon
😆😆 Oh come on jj, you can do better than that no? I love the feedback 🙂
@@mikemitchell2554 I’m sorry you didn’t like my comment but you really should listen to yourself honestly you sound like a woman so my question to you is Do you and your wife fight over the tampons or maybe you are the wife
Agco got a Challenger mt700
Hello Mike from rensselaer indiana how about semi race
Do you know Todd DeWeese, went to Purdue with him in the 80's...
Thanks Mike, this series was great! 👍 great fun and very informative! Hope ACGO is listening to you.
Did Brian get a new semi to pull his toy hauler?
I don't think so he had it a a hopper last winter.
The Fendt shows 663 HP with power curve of 670
Its advertised at 673 constant HP on the configuration site - agco.bigmachines.com/config/tractors/track/fT1100VarioMTSeries?persist=true
Don’t you mean LED
With the new Fendt One cab it seems to be a perfect tractor 👍
