As for consulting for companies is an excellent opportunity for you at this time because babies are expensive and you need to provide for your family. Just don’t stress, things will work out, and I can’t believe how fast time had passed... New baby, new job, a lot to celebrate!
Take your time to figure out what you want and most importantly get some rest before you make major decisions, being a new father is hard and a huge adjustment (I know from experience).
I hope very much (and selfishly) that you come back as you were my first exposure to Finland and Finnish culture, and I use your videos to explain to my friends and family what it's like here.
However you need to do what's best for you. Elämää on life.
I wish you all the luck in whatever direction you choose to go.
We gotta appreciate how open you are about this. Not all would be able to tell their audience that "it's simply not making enough money", they would make up dumb stories and excuses. I really admire that you are being honest and (I believe I am speaking for everyone here) we all understand, videos are a bunch of work to make and you have lots of other things going on.
I most certainly hope that you will occasionally return to this channel as a passion project and if you turn to the gaming side of UA-cam, I will definitly continue to watch your content. But you do what you view as the right choice.

Hi Aleksi. I was a gamedev and changed to develop softwares. The game development industry is now more competitive than it ever was, and good indie games are struggling just to be known in the sea of other bad games. Making games is fun, living on it is chaotic.

Congratulations on becoming a dad! 🥰 It's important to review life at different stages and assess whether what you want is still what you want :) I think it's important also to make one's activities worthwhile financially. It has to be sustanable, in the end of the day. Yes, some viewers would love to think that stuff is created purely for the love of it, but 'love of it' is not gonna pay for our material goals in the material world. And it's okay to have them.

I completely understand Aleksi. Financially, this channel's focus is not making sense. Its hard to scale up with it. I think UA-cam and Tiktok consulting would be good! A lot of companies worldwide dont understand social media. Adsense and brand deals are not as reliable. UA-cam as a career is no longer viable. You are also a parent now, so u must think about your family's future.

I've now been divorced 3.5 years, but I still like Finland a lot and I am contemplating moving back there next year. Your channel has been a valuable resource, and all the info you've provided has been helpful.

Thx for being so honest. Yeap is hard to find a niche where you can find some revenue from you audience, I can imagine is even harder to have a broad audience from Finland. But in any case your subscribers, are in numbers, the people that migrate into Finland last year. I learn a lot, thank you!
